I would be a part of the Up and Comers. The team would consist of:
Tommy Tightpants - RW
Jaeger Jones - C
Spack Jarrow - LW
Mikko Rashford - RD
Jay O'Neil - LD
Rebecca Montagne - G
Now - you may look at this lineup and notice something somewhat funny.
"Hey, isn't that just most of the rookie draft class for Winnipeg? There are other rookies you know."
First off - no I do not. Second off, all of the play styles in this team complement each other incredibly well. With all six members of the team projecting out to be max earners, this squad can easily hang toe to toe with any death lineup that can be thrown at them during the game. As the game slows down for each of the young players, they're only going to get better and better. Swapping a bit of defence with a bit of offence with Rashford also helps to make sure they're always ahead of the competition, as Montagne isn't going to be letting much in.

PROMPT 1
yeah alright this prompt is pretty sick so i think guy (this is his first name by the way or as some would say it is his given name) of the zheng family (as in zheng is his family name like the name he has from being in his family and being descendants of other people with the family name zheng) from the atlantatanta infernos (currently, he has been on other teams in the past during his long simulation hockey league career such as the new england wolfpack and the hamilton steelhawks) would definitely slot into the grizzled veteran team. someone who has never really had the highest peaks in the league, guy was a mainstay in the top 10 points leaders for forwards/dmen for quite a few seasons while he was at his peak, and even now when he is deep into regression and his knees hurt when he gets out of bed and he has to crack his back whenever he sits back down on the bench, he still manages to put up very respectable points. guy zheng definitely deserves a spot on the grizzled vets team as one of the premier veterans in the league, consistent as always and maybe potentially maybe probably not make it into the hall of fame one day, probably has a lower chance than @micool132 but definitely a higher chance than @Gwdjohnson
oh yeah i gotta pick my team i gotta put:
F - guy zheng
F - dick clapper @5ympathies
F - luke thomason @"luketd"
D - eko van otter @hotdog
D - red kirby @Acsolap
D - guy zheng (for when the other 2 dmen are tired and because he wants to relive his glory days)
G - geezus kryyst

I am really excited about this season. This offseason in the Draft, we had a lot of the first round, so we were able to add a ton of good players in this draft. Being able to add players like Mikko Rashford, Spack Jarrow, Jay O'Neil, Jaeger Jones, Tommy Tightpants, Christian Kinsinger, Rebecca Montagne, Frederico von Schnicktenburg, Trevor Malone, and Jacques Lilcoque. We are going to be in another rebuild season, but it's okay, we will have another huge draft class to really jumpstart this team and move forward. I am excited about the future of this team even though the past two seasons have been a little rough. We have put ourselves in a great spot to have a team that is in the making of a dynasty moving forward. SO, even though right now we are the joke of the team to face, we will be a force in no time. You better believe that.
It’s hard to bet against the Hamilton Steelhawks of the Northeast’s division of the eastern conference of the simulation hockey league, but the buffalo stampede are off to a roaring start this season and it’s origins can be traced to one man and one man only.
This man is Chet Hillier, the 280 tpe, 500k stud of a dman that has contributed endlessly to the buffalo stampede’s crushing start to season sixty two.
Chet hillier was signed in order to contribute strong depth minutes to the buffalo stampede, and do that he has. This bowling ball of a hockey player has pumped in some offensive stats with two goals and one assist, and has even helped his linemates to a 61% corsi!
Signed for a bargain 500k, Chet is shaping up to be the league’s biggest bargain signing of the Season sixty two free agency period, and might be a major reason why the buffalo stampede lose, like everyone, to the Hamilton steelhawks in this season’s playoffs!
Gonzo Gobbledygook was added to the Up-and-Comers. To the surprise of many, he was one of five total Winnipeg Aurora players who have not hit their prime yet but show loads of promise to become future superstars. That is correct, it's Aurora all the way down! Gobbledygook is joined by fellow Season 60 draftee, Marcel Beck, the young defender via St Louis. As well as, hold onto your butts, THREE Season 62 draftees; Newfoundland Berserker Right Winger Tommy Tightpants, Regina Elk Goaltender Rebecca Montagne, and Anchorage Armada Left Winger Spack Jarrow.
In preparation for the upcoming tournament they've all been selected to be a part of, the five met up for brunch in Winnepeg before their first practice together. Gobbledygook, a self-proclaimed brunch aficionado, ordered the chicken and waffles, and all but Beck followed suit. Later that day at practice, all but Beck impressed with their young speed and skill. I guess Beck should have ordered the chicken and waffles.

The opportunity to play in this current tournament would likely result in my player being placed on the up and comers team with, presumably, the consciousness of his father, Alex Winters, who had one of the best rookie seasons ever (in the STHS era). My current player so far isn’t on the level of Winters 1.0, but it would be a fun experience for him to play with a prime version of his father as he gets to the point in his life that he could actually appreciate the opportunity and what this would mean for him in terms of his ability as a player. The team on whole would likely get absolutely shellacked as a team full of 700-1100 TPE players is going to get absolutely hammered by teams that have the prime versions of the league’s greatest players. Not a chance unless they get some wacky goaltending and a lot of luck. I could see them maybe winning one to two games overall.
4 players on the team:
Alex Winters (rookie version)
Tig Murphy (rookie version)
Aleister Cain (rookie version)
Barrett McCarthy (rookie version)
WC: 166 Words
Alex Winters (retired)
Matej Winters (retired)
Dominik Winters S45 Jesster Trophy Winner Challenge Cup Winning Goal Club: S52
Prompt 1:
My player would definitely be eligible for the grizzled veterans team. In considering who else would be there with me, I have to consider the style of eligibility. Right now in the sister league, the NHL, Jaromir Jagr is not on an active roster, but as recently as 2018 he was lacing up for the Calgary Flames. In 2018, he was certainly the quintessential "grizzled vet" but I don't know if he was in the top 20 best grizzled vets on account of him being too grizzled and too vet. For the sake of this PT, I'll argue that he should be on that team, even if just a mascot alone. Plus everyone knows his name will sell a few more jerseys and tickets. with that in mind, I'll be judging anyone in the 15% or higher regression tier as "grizzled".
My top selection is Tony Pepperoni. The man has played at a high level since s43 and has won accolades deep into regression.
Also making the list: Slip McScruff - the shot blocking extraordinaire, Cassius Darrow - the balanced blue liner, and Otis B. Driftwood - the man with 1 million hits.
The practices are pretty laid back because we all know that we can't get much better. Darrow is a workhorse, though. A lot of time is committed to stretching. Most of us like to skate, learn each other's tendencies, and then grab beers.
Prompt 2- Here is a Texas Renegades not many changes have been made during the off-season. We’ve lost Joseph kubanic to retirement. He was replaced by rookie Bjorn Bjorn.Otherwise the team remains unchanged some players and regression some players in progression. The feeling in the clubhouse is one of positivity. Can’t help but feel good having one of the top teams almost fully returning minus one of their alternate captains.Sometimes we like to kick back and talk about the times when it’ll all be over and we won’t be able to do this anymore in for me and particularly, when no one’s around to carry me how will I do? I probably won’t do well so I should probably retire before all these guys regress. On the other hand the rookies from last season and this season have proven to be worth their weight in pucks? So the outlook may be good for the future of the franchise to continue to carry me.

S27, S29, S32 Challenge Cup Champion
This is an easy one if I can choose the Hall of Famers. I had a player named "Kriss Labsvards". He was inducted in S52 in Dragons Hall Of Fame. I don't know if this is what You meant Slash but I hope You will let it go since I would like really talk about old fellas.
Kriss Labsvards had an interesting carrier. Best defenceman in S14 Montreal Impact, S16 Ryan Jesster award nominee, S20's one of the leaders in blocked shots, Captain of Calgary Dragons (in his first season of captaincy (S27) team won the Challenge cup), three-time cup winner, 1061 games played till S36.
I'd like to put the best players I know and a majority of these legends played right next to me at some point in my carrier.
Left Wing - Randy Randleman (devilish goalscorer, putting goals in piles)
Center - Esa Anrikkanen (all-around, team dedicated forward, can score, can pass, can play defense. Every coach's dream of the roster.)
Right Wing - Mike Izzy (The Augment, dude can smash and he does, as an addition he score some greasy goal, get under the skin if a team needs a break Izzy just smashes the opponent body so hard that glass have to repair)
Left Defense - Michael Boychuk (Dude puts some hefty game-winners, no wonder we call him "Big Game Boychuk")
Right Defence - Me (Can play defense, can score on the powerplay. While "Big Game Boychuk" scores big goals, Labsvards usually has some golden assists)
