I would be placed on the team grizzled vets. I am not an up and comer or someone who is hitting their peak as I am one of the oldest fucks on the website. But I am still producing well for my age, on a good Philadelphia team. I would be probably the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team, as it is like what I was when i was at my peak. Never the best but always the 2-10 spot for the most part. Fuck S52, I should have won a MVP if I didnt choke the last 5 games of the seasonl. Anyway, the 3 other people would be Tommy Salami, aka Tony Pepperoni, Rex Kirkby, and my DAWG, Steven Moyer. The 4 goats of S43 class that is still kicking. We are getting down to the wire, as we are starting to drop like flies but you know how we do

I'm pretty excited for this upcoming season. The Nevada Battleborn have a bunch of players uncapping to 425 and a few going to 350. While the last two seasons were a bit bleak, all that hard work is about to pay off. I will be one of the players uncapping to 425 for the next two years of juniors. After getting some advice from both the Manhattan and Nevada GMs. I increased my stats in a few defensive categories to really hone in on the two way forward I'm creating. I'll, once again, be the first line center with JLC and Pingu, a combination that racked up a lot of points. To help complement their offensive prowess, my defensive stt increase should help us control the flow of the game, in turn getting a few more offensive chances. I honestly think is the season that the Battleborn finally make a deep run in the playoffs. I'm hesitant to say we are one of the favorites to win it all, but it seems likely we will be going into this season.

THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO THE FIRST PROMPT, PROMPT NUMBER ONE.
The churn. Often hypothesized, only seen in history books. But it's happening NOW in the SHL. The great churn where players are reassigned to new teams based on novelty, like being born around the same time. Rob Wright, power grinder for the Baltimore Platoon, has been slotted to play with a mix-match of players who were drafted between S56 and S58. An up-and-comers squad who looks to challenge the rest of the SHL with their SOON TO BE INSANE stats (obviously right now we're all around 1200/1300 TPE so we can't accomplish much. But the sim is random and chaos reigns supreme somedays in FHM. On the first day of training camp for their new team, linemates are given the chance to meet one another. However, for Rob Wright and linemates Mew Two and Noel Blanchet, it's more of a reunion. The three linemates are all BAP draftees with chips on their shoulders. All dressed, because (for the sake of this prompt) they're Canadian, and it's mandatory. ![]() ![]() ![]() SHL Awards Committee S15, S16, S22 Challenge Cup Champion
Oliver Cleary, noted not great defender has been selected for the best of the best tournament in the SHL. So which team does he get selected for? Well he isn't an up and comer and let me tell you, he isn't going to the hall of fame any time soon. Oliver Cleary has been placed on the Grizzled Vets team, being that he is an S48 just trying to fight off regression. In all honesty the team is pretty good. Players like Kaspars Claude and Gabe Johnson are patrolling the backend while guys like Jon Forty-One will be relied upon for offence. The SHL new breed of try hard kids hitting 2200 TPE will be tough tests but the Grizzled Vets will be able to hold their own. They may not end up winning the title in the end but they'll fight every single game. They'll also sport the nicest beards.

Prompt 2
This past season we've added Zlatan Ibrahimovic Jr. and look to his veteran presence to get us into competitive shape. New Orleans has been drafting extremely well and building a bunch of young, new talent. With the trades made the end of last season and during the offseason, the Specters look to begin competing in the near future. Their younger core is progressing steadily and they are now assisted by grizzled veterans of the league who have performed exceptionally well throughout their career who will help guide them. As a team, the Specters have gotten better every season and look to continue the trend. The season hasn't started off particularly well, but the players need time to build chemistry and settle into a groove before they can be expected to compete in the highest level. Another issue they currently face is their young goaltender rotation. Byrnison and St. Ark look to be very promising players, but just need a bit more time to hit their stride. Look for this Specters team to really take off in the next two seasons. ![]() ![]() Registered S45 Challenge Cup Champion
this season, the sixty second (62nd) season of the simulation hockey league (SHL) which is an online simulated hockey league where you can build your own player or towel or simp, the atlanta infernos, and which is the new team I play for as of this season, of the simulation hockey league added four (yes four (4) we know it is pretty big) new rookies to the team -- jack nishimori, evgeni petrov (goalie tender), angus mcfife xviii, and a towel. they also added gabe "gwod" johnson i guess which is the guy or person thing that got fried/quit the Anchorage boating leadership of the boat division, but I guess really that is the guy behind the curtain and not the actually player Whomst is from another team in this simulation hockey league. Angus McFife isn’t a cow, but a human named angus and not a cut of beef off the McFife xviii Holstern variety of cow. Evgeni Petrov is a a human person that guards the goalie net and is tender because he is constantly gettigng hit by pucks which tenderize him. Jack Nishimori is another one of our new teams Whomst joined this team willst I did too this off-season.

With The Game now live and open for business. I would upload the consciousness of Chester Cunningham onto the grizzled vets team. I would have e to enlist in the consciousness of Kristian Eriksson to be added to his wing. Together they were the most lethal duo of the SHL golden Era. They combine for the most points of any other offensive pairing. Throw in some other legendary Knights alumni like Barney Stinson and Jackson Rogers-Tanaka and it's already an unbeatable team of grizzled veterans. Put the GOAT Mark Harter in net just for the cherry on top and that is a top line and goalie combination that would wipe the floor with all the soft SHLers of the modern era. You could pretty much plug anyone else into the 2nd wing spot on that line and it wouldn't matter. That is a Hall of Famer top line. Just for shits and giggles give JNH the coaching job. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ACP Access S20, S21, S25,S51 Smelly Fart Champion 2.0
Grizzled Vets
LW - Aaron Wilson C-Michael Scarn RW-Theo Morgan LD - Hugh Jazz RD-Samuel Michaud These five players make the most sense to me for a grizzled vets team. These guys have played together know the ins and outs of everyones play styles. They have been able to win and why look at a veteran team that didn't do some winning. These guys won all the Individual awards too or have been nominated for them. They know how to produce, win and play the game of hockey. They go in and know what to do in any given situation. These players are the definition of the grizzled veterans people look to add to a young hockey team. They know how to win hockey games and might go down as the five players that done the most winning together. Some of these guys won five championships together and will teach younger players how to win. ![]() Registered S24, S26 Challenge Cup Champion
Prompt 1:
I wish there was a “Team Average” for me to throw ol’ Colin Lambert on, but I guess we’ll toss him on the “Up and Comers” team. He’s not really super young anymore, and definitely not a Superstar or a Veteran yet. We’ll put him on the back end of an all-Season 55 lineup. Lambert will be the powerplay quarterback who is a huge defensive liability. Maybe we’ll pair up Rikard Bjerg with him to help him keep up the slack defensively. In net we’ll have uh…. I actually can’t think of any S55 goalies at the top of my head. We’ll come back to that. Of course we have to have the rookie of the year on forward. Let’s get Theo Kondos in there. Is he a wing? Center? I have no idea, but we’re going to play him down the middle. Danilli Nikiforov is going to play wing. And we’ll have Liam Slate on the other side. Still can’t think of a single S55 goalie, so we’re going to strap Igor Victory into the pipes and see how he does. First practice went well, but the bois are worried that Igor doesn’t have what it takes to play between the pipes for Team Comer. I think I would be on the grizzled vets teams and would probably go back and be a part of either Noctis Caelum or Aviad Ratzon. I think for me those are the players that I definitely most identify strongly with, although I don't think Ratzon and his defense weakness would be good at this point. I think on the Grizzled Vets team at forward would have to include both Joe Mckeil who was an animal in Hamilton as well as Ivo Willems. Both of those players are hall of fame players. The users who made them are also good people. However, whats a team without a bit of contraversy. While I am not sure about Hall of Fame, I definitely think no grizzled vets team is complete without the man, the myth, the legend, Jalopski who was made by the infamous gorlab. I think its hard to talk about the SHL without some of its dark moments. I also do think the goalie would be 44 who has had one of the best goalies in SHL history. I could also see his backup be Mark Harter which helped Toronto win a cup. I also think one of @Wasty 's many players would have to be on the team as well just because he's a GOAT

Kermit Murphy has been named to the Up-and-Comers team, which is unnerving for him as he knows it means he'll be suiting up against his father, Tig Murphy, who will be on the blueline for the Hall of Famers. One small comfort is the large amount of familiar talent joining him, as he will pair up with teammate Dee Centerman IV on one of the defensive pairings for the young guns squad, as well as linking up with young Argonauts forwards Vaseline Podcalzone and William Salming. He's also looking forward to playing with a major talent in Jonathan Grandstrom, as well as connecting with former Detroit teammates Luc Blouin and Pavel Jeziak, reuniting the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th overall picks of the S57 SMJHL draft. It will be tough sledding as this team will be comprised of the lowest TPE of any of the groups as well as the least experience, but the youthful energy could help them humble the old farts in their way.

The New England Wolf Pack hockey organization who is part of the Simulation Hockey League did not undergo too many changes during this recent off-season, but this is okay.
They are currently a decently strong team with great management who should be able to make the team prove to be contenders for the Challenge Cup this season. I think the only thing that the team could've looked to try and improve upon would have been to get another strong winger to help improve the firing power of the offense. The defensive core of the team is incredibly strong behind Sven Yxskaft who is considered one of the best defense man in the entire league. I personally believe that Ethan Price is all that the team really needed to make sure that they're scoring night in and night out. He's without question their best winger on the team, coming off a fantastic season he'll be looking to repeat that and win as many games as possible. ![]() Registered Senior Member |
