I think just like typical hockey cards and collections, the older, rare cards are always the most valuable, especially if players have had really good careers. Therefore if I had to get players, I would love to get HOF players, so something like:

My dream team is a zerks alumni squad, a few of them have been tearing up the SHL recently and would make a strong squad. My first forward is Ryuuji Minamino and next is of course Steve Harrington after that I'll go with Jack Klompus as my last forward so I don't end up with too many CHI player. For defense I'll go with Jukka Timonen and Elias Kierkegaard and finally for goaltending I have to go with Cale Amundsen.

It's gotta be the HD guys that came over to the SHL. Forwards would be myself (Vlastislav Malik), Python (Valterri Kauppinen), Titan (Cian McFelter). Dmen would be roamus (Robert Feltersnatch) and....let's throw trashae (Teddy Park) in there. My cards are a set from the S38 Prince George Firebirds who have been released to commemorate the S38 SMJHL championship. Since Prince George doesn’t have a team anymore, the cards are available at the local sports store and the set include the team best player at the time Dionýz Vyskoč, Mikhail Petrikov, Kyler Gill, Paddy Kane-Reilly, Maurice Picard and Aleksandr Aleksandrov.
