Well it happened. A general strike by the goalie union led to a mass retirement of goalies and now ALL of them have either quit the site (based) or recreated as a skater. The SHL has been around for the sim-time equivalent of 63 years now! That’s a lot of time for things to change. What was the league like 62 years ago in season one? Did nobody wear helmets? Were players allowed to smoke on the ice? Plenty would have changed in over six decades!

63 years ago today would put us in the year 1959. In the year 1959, Alaska is declared as the 49th state in the USA, Cuba announced Fidel Castro as Premier, the Barbie Doll made its first appearance in the United States and most importantly, British actor Sean Bean was born. Alot was going on in 1959 including the introduction of the best world wide hockey league, the SHL. Back in those days, players would pay money to be able to play in a league such as the SHL for notoriety and to be signed to an endorsement deal from sponsors. The sticks were made only out of wood, goalies didn't wear masks and there were alot more injuries with fighting being most encouraged. The league consisted only of 4 teams to start, the Chicago Thieves, Winnipeg Lions, Minnesota Magic and the New England Loyalists. All of these franchises still exist 63 years later with a name change or two. It's amazing how the league is well established and has thrived over the years.

When did your franchise last win a Challenge Cup? Write about that team, some of the key players, and what intangibles they had going for them to be able to win it all. If your franchise hasn’t yet won a cup, choose any cup winning team and talk about why you’d like your current team to emulate them. Did they have an all time great roster? Were they scrappy under dogs?

The Texas Renegades last won the Cup in S62 and S59 beating the Buffalo Stampede and the Hamilton Steelhawks in the Finals respectively. I'll speak about last season's championship win as that was more recent. Texas was coming off S61 losing in the playoffs, unable once again to defend their Championship from back in S59. With the man core from when they last won the Cup, the Renegades were determined to reach the Finals once again and bring their second cup home in 4 seasons. Texas would finish 3rd in the league with 103 points behind Baltimore and Chicago. They handled Minnesota in round 1 winning the series 4 games to 1 and faced Chicago in round 2. Chicago was only able to edge out two victories against the surging Renegades before they allowed them to advance to the semi's to face the current team in the Finals, the Los Angeles Panthers. It was a hard fought series that went 6 games but Texas was too fast and strong and would finally make it back into the Finals to face Hamilton. A stressful 7 game series is what it would take before Texas was able to raise the Challenge Cup once again. Led by Burlok Sulfurgold, Alexander Wachter, Theo Kondos and Edward Williams the Texas hopeful would see the Cup back in Texas once again.

Ah, the Dino league or more commonly referred to as 'the only hockey league that mattered before the SHL'. The Dino league was a hit back in prehistoric times, always full of fighting and chaos. While no human being was present at one of these games, they've been depicted in caves and one rocks to be an absolute bloodbaths. One may even say it was more about the dinosaurs fighting then playing a game with a frozen biscuit. Goalie was often played by the Ankylosaurus who would use his wide body to protect the net and hard back to stop shots that were coming towards the goal. The best defenders were the brachiosaurus' who would use their long necks to steal pucks away from their opponents and cause havoc in the defensive end. Pterodactyl's also were good defenders, swooping down from the skies to steal chances away from the opponents. Velociraptors often played wing - these pesky creatures were a terror on the offensive end and would plow the way for their center to have clean shots on net. Every team wanted a T-Rex on their team, able to score with ease and the most physical player on the ice. To be able to have witnessed such an event..

2. Back in my day, 3 TPE
62 Years ago during the inaugural season, things were vastly different in the Simulation Hockey League. As the league was just coming up and finding its place, a lot of the teams didn’t have full built arenas. In fact some teams were calling public skating rinks home for the time being or sharing ice with other teams in order to complete a schedule. Hockey equipment has evolved so much in 62 years as well. We have fancy hockey sticks and skates as well as evolved padding to protect our players. Back in the first season a lot of players just had their team jersey, sometimes knitted by the owner's wife, and had no protection underneath. Knitted jerseys is of course how we got the nickname sweaters for our hockey jerseys. Ice Skates were also difficult to find and some talent was scouted from local ball hockey teams so some players just showed up with their best footwear and did their best to get around the ice.

4. Extinction event, 3 TPE
The pre-historic hockey League was no joke. Way back in time, cavemen survived the winters and used sharp rocks on their feet like skates to get across large lakes and rivers. But they soon discovered a sport by skating around. Once a rock started getting kicked around and then they used sticks from trees to help knock those rocks around and set up goal posts using even bigger rocks! Goalies were hard to come by as there was no padding and rocks really hurt. Once the cavemen started a league it really started to take over. The top scorer, Mumble Stonefoot, lead the league in points scoring at least 10 goals a period! But once the other players decided to start hitting and checking the other players he ran into a massive cold streak. The most ferocious team were the Raptors. No not the Colorado Raptors. Literal Raptors. They would come out of the bushes and just destroy the competition. Literally. They would eat the hockey players. Unfortunately the pre-historic league didn't last long but the brave souls who participated were evolutionary in the sport of hockey.

6. Grab Bag, 4 TPE
If giving the top players maximum minutes is the key to success than I think it's a fair strategy to take if it's going to win games. Why risk it with more unreliable players when you know your top players are going to win the game for you. It may be unfair to those players but in the end they still play a key role in getting the job done.
Guy O'Shea and Evangelos Giannopoulos are key pieces to a team looking for a championship. With over 109 blocks each you know you have two players who will be risking the body and keep you in the game. In order to get around top defensive players a good counter strategy may be shots in close or garbage goals or counting on power plays to get it done.
Los Angeles has been counting on all five players to get in on the offensive play making it hard to defend. In order to counter a strong offensive play you want your players to be hard on the puck whether it's by finishing their checks or having well placed sticks in the right places. If they can give up turnovers then the offense can be quickly beaten and countered with possible breakaways if the defense is out of position.
When goalies are playing lights out like Jobin and Karsikko have been it's tough to break through and get the game winner. In order to get in their head or break through the defense we'll need to either count on special teams with a strong power play or have the grotty players get in front and screen or jam pucks in. Every shot should matter instead of just pumping up their numbers.

Back in my day, players walked 10 miles in the snow and ice uphill for hockey practice. On game days, we did the same. We were so tired that our checks did not have much force, but they were still three times as hard as the ones these players are dishing out today. The referees let us play and didn't interfere too much. If they did, we would beat them up until they learned how to call the game the way we wanted it. This was not your S63 SHL; this was old school at its finest. There were pretty much crimes being committed on the ice on a daily basis. We liked it that way. Now, you guys go to the bench between shifts and sip your mocha lattes and discuss your favorite aiolis. I hate watching it now. I want to go back to when the game was played the right way; with violence and aggression. The good old days.

The Dino Hockey League consisted of 700 teams, one for each species of dinosaur. There was never a draft. Teams just played the best dinosaurs from within their own species. Each team played 5 to 6 games a day, during a 640 game regular season. The 700 species were split into 2 leagues; the Triassic East and Triassic West. Instead of using sticks, the players pushed a large stone (puck) with their snout. To score, the puck needed to fall into a large 60 foot wide hole at the end of each side of the playing arena. Dino goalies would protect the hole, but they had no equipment, just their body. There were no penalties in Dino hockey. However, if an opposing dino checked you out of the playing area, you needed to wait 30 seconds before returning. Unlike the current comical number of team that make the postseason, only 8 of the 700 made the playoffs in the DHL. Those were great times.

Nothing changes, because the sim decides the norms and averages anyways. Sure, the bot goalies have a 20 in every category, but the players in front of them still play a big part in the result. On average, I would say it's an extra 5 wins on the season. If nothing else changes, those goalie gods won't make too much of a difference. They may not let in the easy goals, but if they still play behind a mediocre squad, it will not really mean anything. For the good teams, yes it may put them over the top, but even that I am not so sure about. There is some great goalie play now even without those high attributes. A lot of times it is completely based off of cold and hot streaks. I have seen it too many times to think that a simple "let's max the bot goalies" is going to have a significant impact on the end result. Call me crazy.

I imagine that 63 seasons ago the SHL was kinda like the basketball league in the Will Ferrell movie Semi-Pro, where its just a bunch of wacky-haired misfits running a league by the seat of their pants. Ron Mexico probably would've been smoking a joint with a fierce lean-on before every game. Jay McDonald probably had a nice waterfall flowing in reverse mullet, and whoever the Winnipeg Jets goalie was likely wrote swear words over his mask (which would have been the old Jason Voorhees white plastic model rather than the new metal ones.

Furthermore, the airport flights would have been something else, especially if this was pre-9/11 days in head canon. People would've had their shoelaces lit of fire during the long flights over from Calgary to wherever the fuck West Kendall is, so the players would need to entertain themselves in the era before smartphones. Card games with stacks of paper being thrown into reckless all-in bets would be the norm, and the rookies would somehow lose all their money.

Toronto's last Challenge Cup win was in Season 35, and it was a doozy. Toronto's showing in the regular season was respectable, going 28-17-5 for 61 points and a 2nd place finish in the Eastern Conference. Their leading scorer was Damien Wert, who racked up 55 points off of 18 goals and 27 assists, while Evandrus Jesster chipped in with 24 goals and 29 assists for 53 points. Goaltender Jeff Kirkstone had a mediocre year with a .905 save percentage and a 3.04 GAA, but the team made a trade with Portland to get a solid backup in Mark Harter, who went 4-1-1 and would play a crucial role in the coming playoffs.

Toronto easily ran through West Kendall and New England in 5 games apiece, setting up a showdown with Portland, who came through a 7 game slugfest against President's Trophy winning Calgary. Portland raced out to a 3-1 lead, but then the wheels fell off in the final 3 games, when the backup they had traded in Mark Harter stepped in for a reeling Kirkstone, and won the last 3 games for Toronto to clinch the improbable Cup win.

I have heard that even since the Simon T as our sim era that Goaltender performance doesn't really matter that much. Supposedly jacking stats up to 99 unbalances a goalie's abilities, so TPE didn't matter and it was all down to inconsistency.

Now I'm being told in FHM, goalie abilities don't matter as much as one would think, and seasons can wildly vary from even elite goaltenders, presumably because everything is tied to this forced goals per game average. Enemy shooting accuracy (or just general defensive lapses leading to high quality shots) would probably be adjusted upwards by the sim to compensate for every goaltender being equally good.

That being said, there would probably be a huge shift in salary structure depending on how exactly these bot goalies get paid, which could free up more money for star forward and defense talent. Not to mention strategizing the backup games around SMJHL callups is now a non-factor. I think it all adds up to non-change, given that we judge teams by forwards and defense quality anyways.

If you're in another sim league and are using 4 of those CW tasks here, you can do this task to advertise that league in your CW. What league is it? Is it fun? How does it work? What are the pros/cons of that league, especially in comparison to the SHL?

The other sim league I'm in is the International Simulation Football League, and the overall setup is similar to the SHL in practise. You write media or do odd jobs on site to get paid bucks, you use said bucks to buy illegal TPE syringes, and you do predictions and championship weeks to form the bulk of your non-training TPE.

The big difference is that the ISFL equivalent of Primetime is much more important to the TPE climb than it is in the SHL. Sensing the heartbeat of the league from week-to-week better than everyone else can be the difference between a record-breaking star and a normal elite.

Another big difference is that the sim has clearly defined layers to certain positions. Some suit casual users because 800 TPE can be good enough to contribute, others suit more progressive users who want longer careers. Plus, rookies do have a random tendency to have super productive rookie seasons at times that really build the confidence, instead of like the SHL where staying in the J for only the three years can lead to a rough time for the 800 TPE rookies.

It still is similar due to the incompetence of sim, but I enjoyed ISFL a lot.

14. A team who has done  a rebuild good is New Orleans Spectors since they blew it all up. They ended up having their GMs recreate and loaded up on many talent so it is very important to do that. We where able to get a load of many different talent, using a large portion of cross league users from the ISFL such as Arkz, Amidship, and Asked_Madden. All those people where drafted and have been max earning in this league, showing a commitment to the league and rebuilding the team it is something that is something that we are happy to do. this season was a major break through this season with us sneaking into the playoffs. With the taem continuing to earn adn develop i believe we should be a team that really are going to make a chance to hit the playoffs and eventually win it all again like champs

20. My main league is the ISFL or internation simulation football league. it was an off shoot of SHL i believe so it shares many simularities such as the PT system and the money and earning. A few things i like better is that the playoffs are a bit less predicatble then in SHL, which can be a good and bad thing, it is good since you rarely ever see one team dominate for years, however it does feel like there is only so much you can do to give your team the advantage. I also kinda enjoy the shorter careers as it helps keep team windows specific instead of the same team being good for maybe 20 years instead like how hamilton are right now, rebuilds might still take a irl year, but the issue is in SHL it takes over a irl year to even being kinda good. so it is something that definently going to be good

a. Los Angeles has been riding their top players for almost a full minute more of ice time than Hamilton has theirs. If you were a coach, do you buy into this strategy? Do you let your top guys leave it all out there every night or aim for the most balanced attack possible?

I don’t know that I agree with the statement that Los Angeles rode their top players more than Hamilton. Including special teams LAP’s top line played on average 40 seconds more a game. That’s like one extra shift… That being said, looking at the Panthers roster I would probably take a more balanced approach, there isn’t really a low TPE player on their team and would feel comfortable rolling all three lines equally. (74 words)

Quote:b. Guy O'Shea and Evangelos Giannopoulos have been absolute block machines for Hamilton in the playoffs with 109 between them. If you’re looking for offense in this series, how do you get around these two defensemen?

If you don’t want them to block your shots, don’t shoot at them. Or better yet, keep shooting at them and wear them down. I guess tactically you’d want to move the puck quickly and don’t let them get set up in the shooting lanes. Try to get the puck down low, maybe get someone to park in front of the net to tie up one of them up? (69 words)

I’m sure I’m with everyone when I say “Congratulations Hamilton on your Challenge Cup victory!” I don’t think anyone expected a different result, although everyone outside of Hamilton probably hoped we finally broke the vicious cycle. I honestly paid zero attention to the playoffs outside Edmonton’s series against Texas. I had to double check to see who even won the Challenge Cup, so I can’t speak for everyone else but I’d say this series was the least bit exciting. The biggest surprise is LAP winning two games, I was only giving them one game. I’ll give the Panthers players credit though, they pushed the series and they definitely did their best. Unfortunately Hamilton gets the best of their players too. (120 words)

Will new teams make it in as the old guard becomes a forgotten waste of brain space? Don't forget, Hamilton is here AGAIN. Yes we have new teams... but what if it's TEX HAM again next season? Is that even likely?

I’ve heard rumours that Hamilton only beat Baltimore twenty percent of the times through tests so really we should have had two new teams in the finals with a new team winning the Challenge Cup. That being said it could have just as easily been Hamilton versus Chicago or Hamilton vs Texas in the finals.
Hopefully as the new regression scale makes its mark on the league and teams like Hamilton, Buffalo, and Texas get hit harder and harder we see teams with more TPE actually have a chance. But then you never know, Hamilton has some weird advantage in the sim (might be player chemistry) and could just keep plugging away winning championships like they did again this season. I’d love to see more and more teams do what Texas did and do proper rebuilds and see actual results through championships. I was really rooting for Baltimore this season and then found myself even hoping LAP could do it. It would have been a refreshing change and some assurance that there is a chance you could win. Edmonton is looking pretty good in a few seasons and it’d be nice to know that we could have a legitimate shot at a cup. (203 words)

Well it happened. A general strike by the goalie union led to a mass retirement of goalies and now ALL of them have either quit the site (based) or recreated as a skater. HO has implemented a bot goalie system, but decided goalies were too underpowered and gave the goalies 20 in every stat, even the mental ones we can't upgrade. How does the season play out now that goalies are gods (godbots?) among men. Does anything really change?

I wont pretend to know much about how FHM works, but it certainly does feel that goalie TPE means very little. So this general strike by the leagues goalie union leading to goalie retirement would almost certainly make no difference to the league. I think I’ve heard a story of two where somebody ran a simulation of a goalie with all 20 stats and their performance was rather average. I think it really all bottles down to what team the goalie is on. Look at Keisuke Suzuki on Buffalo. 256 applied TPE and still posted an 8-1-3 record with 2.12 GAA and .910 save percentage. If the goalies really wanted to quit the league or recreate as forwards, it might be an advantage and good for the health of the league. If everyone’s goalie is at the same level then maybe we inch ourselves a little closer to this parity everyone wants. Jobin is one of, if not the best goalie in the league so I can’t see it making much difference for Hamilton. (175 words)

2. Back in the gold old days of the SHL there were no such things as rules to keep law and order on the rink. If you had beef with someone you settled it on the ice right then and there with a good old fashioned pistol duel at 10 paces (or skates I guess). There was no such nonsense with “lifting the puck” and other random fancy stuff like that, that puck stayed on the rink at all times because the sticks weighed 70 pounds of pure wood. The goalie stick actually weighed 100 pounds which is why it actually did damage when someone slashed you with it, broken limbs were the most common injury but players weren’t cowards and played through their life threatening wounds. My favorite part was that zambonies didn’t exist so all the blood and stuff was cleared up by everyone’s favorite henchman, Grimwald. I miss that lil hunchback man, he knew how to power clean a sheet of ice. (164 words – 12/16)

17. I’ve spoken to a bunch of clairvoyants and have successfully determined that in the Season 97 season, we will see the rise of the Evgeni Petrov and Friends squad en route to an undefeated championship run. There are a few factors that helped them win, mostly the fact if anyone scored a goal they’d go missing and Evgeni Petrov would be conveniently seen driving away. They also got a sponsorship with the band Lifehouse who inspired the team with their early 2000s alt rock lifestyle. Due to a logistical error where four players on the team got hurt midway through the season, Lifehouse was contracted to fill the second and third defensive pairings to surprisingly great results. The goaltender is Evgeni Petrov IV, who has no relation to the modern Evgeni Petrov, he’s just an adoring fan. The team is led by famous pieces in Nathan McExplosion XXIV and Eko Van Otter because he just kinda never retired. Markiplier is here as well, no one invited him, but he’s nice so we keep him on the 3rd line. (178 words – 15/16)

If that’s not enough, I’m going to exclusively start writing things in Icelandic. Do I speak Icelandic? Nope. So I have zero idea if what I’m submitting is even remotely accurate, but do I care? I’m only here to make shit harder, not make things a complete cake walk for you. Buckle up Lev, I have an overactive imagination and I’m probably insane. (112 Words – 16/16)

The SHL has been around for the sim-time equivalent of 63 years now! That’s a lot of time for things to change. What was the league like 62 years ago in season one? Did nobody wear helmets? Were players allowed to smoke on the ice? Plenty would have changed in over six decades!

The biggest change in the SHL is, of course, how many new teams have joined the league and how many of these team have either relocate or rebrand. Some of them have done this multiple times throughout the years. The fans also used to be able to smoke during the game, which was even used as a tactic to create a hostile environment for visiting teams in some markets where teams were struggling to get wins. The players also used to travel exclusively by train, because of an agreement between the owners who found plane tickets to be too expensive back in the old days. Arena could also decide why color the ice sheet would be, before everyone had to switch to a white background. The league used to have a team with a gray closing in on black ice color where the line where paint in either yellow or green. These different colors could definitely affect some players’ performance in certain arenas.

Rumour has it that millions of years before the SHL began, there was a pre-historic “Dino Hockey League” that dominated the global sports market before a meteor wiped out most life on the planet. Describe that ancient league. Maybe name a couple of teams or players, tell me about how the Dino league’s rules differed from our current ones? This one is pretty loose, just have fun with it!

The Dino Hockey League was a wild thing back in the days. The dinosaurs were not known to follow rules and they just kind of wanted to do whatever they want even when they were playing sports which lead to some free-for-all game all around. The only two rules were that there are two goals which were made with a bunch of broken tree trunks that were put close to one another. The goals didn’t need to face each other. The other rule what that you could only use a stick to touch the puck, which was a small rock, but your stick could be whatever, but most dinosaurs opted for tree branches that they hold with their mouth. The dinosaur that could fly had a massive advantage since they could move at a faster speed than everyone else. Sometimes, fights would break out, put unfortunately, they usually ended up with one of the dinosaurs eating his fight opponents.

a. Los Angeles has been riding their top players for almost a full minute more of ice time than Hamilton has theirs. If you were a coach, do you buy into this strategy? Do you let your top guys leave it all out there every night or aim for the most balanced attack possible?

For me, the strategy should be different during the regular season than it is during the playoffs. During the regular season, you should aim for a more balanced approach, because you want to see what all your players can give you and you want to give opportunities to players to show you some progression. But during the playoffs, it’s time to win and you should have your best player out there as much as you can.

The positive this year is that we finally have a new team in the final. It at least shows that there is a way to build a contender from scratch which is a massive positive for the league. Other teams should try to follow the Panthers example, but unfortunately, it is hard to tell if it is repeatable or if it is only because the Panthers peak at the right time in a given season. On my side, I still think the league as a massive parity problem, which will either cause player to give up and leave the league, or they will try to quickly get to free agency to try to join one of the few teams in this league that seems to be competitive. I still think we should increase the minimum salary scale to force teams to have to make choice between their good player and it will free some of them to go help some teams that struggle.

15. My wild prediction is for both IIHF and WJC. We all know star play of the Zerks, Valters Denisova(thats me). He is representing both Latvia in the IIHF, and UCORCAL in the WJC. Expect the triple crown this season ladies and gentlemen. He's already won the 4-star cup, and he'l win gold in both the IIHF and WJC. I don't know if ever been done before, but it will be.  Denisova is built as a defensive forward, but has decided he wants to be a shooter(good for him) so expect him to not only do the triple crown, but also to be leading goalscorer for BOTH tournaments.  I don't care if his IIHF competition is in the thousands and he's capped at 325.  It doesn't matter. he WILL win it all... or else...
21. Leaviadan, i have absolutely zero idea who you are as a person, so none of this is personal... expect every single one of my PTs to be extremely passive aggressive, calling out other users in the posts. I'll write to head office claiming a majority of users hate the prompts(I made that up, its not actually true), maybe even send some death threats in DMs because the point task prompts aren't to my liking. Ah who am I kidding, none of these things would ever actually happen... right?

a. Los Angeles has been riding their top players for almost a full minute more of ice time than Hamilton has theirs. If you were a coach, do you buy into this strategy? Do you let your top guys leave it all out there every night or aim for the most balanced attack possible?
In the playoffs I definitely buy into the strategy of riding your top guys. There are two days rest between each game which is plenty for everyone to recoup their lost strength. And the playoffs is where things matter the most. You can't take a chance on some lower skilled player just to give them a chance a see how they do. It's all or nothing.

Code:
b. Guy O'Shea and Evangelos Giannopoulos have been absolute block machines for Hamilton in the playoffs with 109 between them. If you’re looking for offense in this series, how do you get around these two defensemen?
Honestly, the best way to get around them is to keep shooting. The fact that they're always trying to get in front of the puck can also be a negative if the puck bounces weirdly towards the net. Whenever a puck changes direction, be it because of a tip from an opponent or a redirect from a team mate blocking a shot, it throws the goalie off and makes it harder to make the save.

Code:
c. Los Angeles’ defense, on the other hand, has not been afraid to join the play and put up points. How do you prepare for a five player offensive attack? How do you counter?
With a five player offensive strategy they have to watch out for, well all kind of counters. If they don't focus as much on defense it opens the ice up for a counter-attacking forward to shine. Have someone quick on their skates hover at out own blue line and rocket up the ice as soon as we gain possession.

Code:
d. The starting goalies for these teams, Olof Karsikko and A Jobin have been nearly unbeatable up to this point with a 0.937 and a 0.927 SV% respectively. If you’re a player on the other team, how would you get inside their heads so that you can put the puck in the net?
The easiest way to get a goalie off their grove is to play a little dirty. I don't really condone it, but as long as players keep it within the rules there's not much teams can do. Try to get into the goalies faces. A few extra taps here and there keeping plausible deniability when they cover the puck. A lot of small things can cause an avalanche as soon as the first goal is scored.

Congratulations, procrastinator!  Through your terrible time management skills, you’ve unlocked a special task! [TEAM] has won it all! Was it an exciting final, or predictable? Did anything surprise you about the outcome? What players performed above or below what was expected of them?
I don't know if it was exciting. Honestly I saw Hamilton in the finals vs Los Angeles and figured there was no point in watching it. And as expected Hamilton ultimately won it again. But it does look like Los Angeles did put up a fight, taking the series to 6 games. So I guess that was what surprised me the most when I looked up the results after the series was over. Jobin seems to ultimately have been the deciding factor. Not allowing Los Angeles any fun at all. Jobin if anyone must be guaranteed a first ballot Hall of Fame entry.

Sweden is finally gonna take it all! Even though I repeat myself in this prompt season over season, and it never happens, this is the year! We have a great squad that is highly skilled. Maybe even have the most TPE among all nations. At the very least we have to be top-3 by now. Personally, Yxskaft has never done very well during international tournaments so I don't expect much this time around either. But we have other great names such as Sven Svenson, Jimmy Wagner, and Magnus Liljeström that I believe will carry Sweden to greatness and finally have us wrap the gold medal around our necks.

Leviadan has made the grave mistake of becoming PT director. I'm already sapping his life source and joyful innocence (yum). How could you, as a user, also make his job unnecessarily difficult? Make media about his shit PT prompts? Write your submissions in Spanish?
I'm gonna start a thunderdome for every single PT prompt Leviadan posts. Because clearly they're all gonna be awful and boring and 10 times worse than the previous PT director who, after stepping down, will be remembered as a great PT director that never did anything wrong and whose prompts were amazing in every way.

On top of that I will make sure to post my PT submissions one minute after the PT deadline passes and later complain in my locker room and to Head Office that Leviadan refuses to give me my hard-earned TPE. Because previous PT directors never cared about the deadlines.

You see the safety rules back in Dino Hockey league times were a lot less strict than we have today. It wasn't uncommon for Dinos to die on the field and teams were constantly looking for replacements. Hard to win when you're team is dead. But you see these bad boys are armored, spiked and have a built in stick. Anky Losaurus was their starting goalie and let me tell you the world hasn't seen another dirty talent since than.
