S65 PT #4: Fitness? Yeah I'm Fitness Prompt in the Forum

First of all, fitness is my IRL passion. So obviously I am highly invested in this pt prompt. I even have a BS in a fitness related field irl. No big deal, but I’m pretty jacked and tan and also knowledgeable and passionate.

Anyway, I’d totally make the dress code in the gym for @Zombiewolf a thong only that way he has no restrictive clothing on and he can really get lumber and flex.

Otherwise we would all be doing curls and more curls and then triceps so we had huge ass arms. We would sprinkle in some shoulders, back and chest, but we would NEVER do legs because fuck that it hurts. Arms all day baby. We would be the most jacked team in the league and everybody would be jealous of how yoked we are.

Afterward, we’d make sure we drank protein shakes and I’d get a “special” protein shake from Zombiewolf.

Player prompt:

Ricky Koivu, as previously established, is a very regimented person who takes schedule and routine very seriously for his development as a player. As a defensive forward, he is always looking for new exercises to help hone his talents and refine himself in his craft. He works a lot on his agility and edge work so that he can cover a lot of ice despite his large frame, and be an imposing presence on the penalty kill and at even strength too. He spends a lot of his routine working on conditioning and general cardio too, as someone who envisions himself as a player who will log big minutes in the SHL before long. Koivu is known as one of the hardest workers on the Armada, often seen in the teams gym facilities absorbed in his regimen and sharply focused on his workouts. As a perfectionist who always strives for more, Ricky will be working hard at improving those facets of his game up until he retires. (169 words)

Jaska Seppala of the Buffalo Stampede takes his fitness seriously as he strives to be at peak health at all times because it is very important to him. Jaska Seppala plays a heavy hitting game and uses his strong arms to hit some big time slap shots. Jaska Seppala works out during the offseason 5 times a week and makes sure to get some cardio at least 3 times a week. He goes to his private gym because he is incredibly rich and famous so he is allowed to do that and lifts those weight things like a champ. He learned a lot of his work out techniques from his good friend old man Monkey D. Luffy who did a very good job with giving Jaska Seppala the techniques necessary to be at peak health. A healthy diet is also very important to Jaska Seppala as you will not see those gains without ensuring you are eating a healthy balanced diet.

Prompt #1

Trying to add to the live experience for the fans, the San Francisco staff have asked Jack Klompus to make a video workout to lead the fans through something like the seventh inning stretch. During the 2nd intermission, the video will be played on the jumbotron and encourage fans to participate. It will be a funny vibe since you want the fans to enjoy themselves and not feel like it's a mandatory thing that they will have to participate in. Klompus will start with some simple stretching to loosen up the joints and some running on the spot to get the blood flowing and make it worthwhile for everyone. With the lack of space in the seats you don't want any crazy movements otherwise there may be some injuries. It will mostly be slower movements with maybe some jumping in place instead of running on the spot. Regardless, it's a simple thing that Klompus leads that will hopefully be fun for the home fans.

Foley would rock the 2010 era Youtube style workout tape. It would feature him doing some fairly mundane workouts, but the screen would be going crazy with all of these different transitions and the like. It would also feautre a hefty amount of dubstep, particularly Skrillex songs like Bangarang, while the screen spins, zooms in, and really just has a whole lot of PowerPoint transitions. The total amount of pworkouts would be about five minutes of a ten minute video. The other five are split 50/50 between a long intro showing Foley's actual hockey highlights with a misty, dark filter put on top of it. There would also be Star Wars style scrolling giving time stamps and an introduction to the workout being shown. The outro is just going to be a blue background with white comic sans floating around on it, giving very specific credit to different people and asking Doja Cat out on a date to end it off. The video is done when the screen reads "Thanks for watching Smile please sign me."

Prompt #1

nah nah nah, look man. Archie, he isn't about to goof on camera doing his workouts, he is too shy about himself to do that, and if anything he just has trainers that tell him how and what to do, so he just listens. This needs a different angle. Angle, where the first 2 minutes try to pretend like you are warming up, stretching out, doing preparation and shit, just for Archie to walk over to a nearby stove just outside of the shot and turn this shit into a cooking show. Be careful now, there is still intention to be healthy, but losing weight is mostly made through changes in your food, and mr. Scaradog is certainly a person to know his way around the kitchen, not necessarily because he is Italian, he was just living on his own for so long he at some point just started slapping stuff together on his own to get some food going and it was fun enough that he actually learned some normal cooking. So, do you want to know how to lose weight with mr. Scaradog? It's his workout kitchen time!

After 69 shots on net with still no SHL goals to show for it, even the opposition started to feel so sorry for Lemo, that they decided to help him out :D
- Bad pass by Jack Klompus, he gave it right to Lemo Pihl.
- Lemo Pihl rips it to the net...
- Lemo Pihl will find the empty net, that should do it!

Player Prompt

Marco Barengrub is what you would consider in the SHL a smaller player. At 6'1 195 lbs, he often has to take draws against much bigger centers. That's why he puts a lot of time in the gym doing barbell wrist curls to strengthen his wrists. For the hand eye coordination part, tennis balls off the wall and juggling are his 2 favorite ones. Marco is a defensive minded center and he knows how important it is to do well in the faceoff circle to help his team. He is really not the most offensive gifted player, his game relies a lot on his speed. A lot of work is done on the ice to always improve his skating but exercises like lateral lunge and single legs squats also help tremendously. A lot of up and down at the center position, stamina is also key. Jogging outside is so much more fun than the stationary bicycle. Barengrub is also really lucky to count on many veterans on Tampa Bay to help him out, watching James Ronlain still going at an elite level so late in his career is inspiring.

Player prompt, written task:

Yannick Svoboda is just wrapping up his rookie season in the SHL, and it has been a relatively successful one. He owes part of this success to his workout regime, which is considered unusual when compared to other players around the league.

In order to gain a comptetitive edge over his competition, Svoboda decided early on to focus on areas that some other players tend to neglect, that is, namely cardio and leg day. While his competition all focus on their upper body workouts, Svoboda looks to put all of his muiscle mass in his lower body. This started by simply focusing more on his leg workouts at the gym, but now it has culminated in something much more risky: getting chased by actual Panthers.

In order to keep himself motivated to keep working on cardio and his lower body strength, Svoboda needed to introduce an element of risk. If he can't keep up, he will be mauled by panthers. This work out is also a testiment to how fast he can run, and therefore, how successful his early workoouts were. Needless to say, Svoboda is now one of the fastest skaters in the league, as well as one of the strongest on their feet.

Creative Prompt

Buck for his workout video is going full on 1980's retro VHS for his workout. Bright neon workout clothes with sweat and headband to complete the look. Think American Gladiators meets the brightest outfits you've ever seen. For this video Buck is also going to grow out his hair into a mullet and grow a mustache fit for the 1980's. You can expect the workout to mirror the retro look he is going for. This workout will include lots of high knees lunges to really stretch out the legs and hips. Bicycle sit ups to really engage those abs and to work on that core. Skip rope because why not. Jogging on the spot and synchronized punching cause we're going for the 1980's baby. This workout video will either make people laugh, cringe or have them look back and remember the good times they had at the amount of throwbacks in this video.

Player Prompt:

Ryosuke Sato is a three-lunged beast on the ice, doing his best to keep on the puck at both the offensive zone and the defensive zone. As a result, his workout routine involves quite a bit of cardio workout with explosive movements. Therefore, everyday that's not a rest day (dictated by his trainer), Sato goes hard on the bicycle, treadmill, and doing lines. While he is doing these activities, on him are ankle and wrist weights or a weighted backpack to build on the muscles. Now it is not all just the cardio, that is merely the morning workout and at the end of the day is when he focuses on building and maintaining muscle. It alternates between arm day and leg day where on arm day he does bicep curls and pull ups at the bar. On leg days, he does squats and uses the leg press. Overall, Sato works hard because he knows he isn't the biggest guy on the ice so he has to make up with a strong training regiment.
