Registered Not A Weeb Code: Take 4: Hamilton will go further than Los Angeles. As the playoffs have already started and all rounds have concluded, this makes for an easy write about the hot takes. This right here might have proven to be the hottest of all takes. We all know Hamilton does blood sacrifices are other weird rituals to make them good in the sim, but this year non of that helped them. The steelhawks got swept by the Phoenix's. Meanwhile Los Angeles just needed 5 games to put the Calgary Dragons aside. The Panthers are looking like one of the hottest teams in the sim right now and will take on Seattle in the next round. Meanwhile the Steelhawks get to enjoy an early offseason with golf. I do not know who was allowed to submit this hot take, but whoever they are, they have submitted the hottest of all takes. May they be shamed in their hot takeness.I do not know who was allowed to submit this hot take, but whoever they are, they have submitted the hottest of all takes. Hockey prompt, bonus take.
The Cup is going to win dignity, now that is a very bold take. What does dignity mean? Webster's dictionnary has 4 definitions of dignity, but the one that is important to us now is the following: dignitiy is the quality or state of being worthy, honored, or esteemed. So that take implies three things: the Cup can have dignity, the Cup currently does not have dignity, and the Cup will acquire dignity by way of winning. Let us analyze those three facts: The Cup can have dignity: it is a trophy, and therefore undoubtedly has the possibility of being honored or esteemed. The Cup currently does not have dignity: of course. The Cup hasn't been honored or esteemed in a while because it isn't really where it deserves to be. The Cup will acquire dignity by the way of winning. Winning is a two-way street: for the Cup to win dignity, we need someone with dignity to win the Cup. This is obviously none other than @micool132. Micool will win the Cup, and the Cup will win dignity.

Task 2: Toronto manhandled Montreal. Everyone counted them out but we fuckin brought our A game and killed it that series. A complete team effort as evidenced by how spread out the players points were. Montreal had a great season, but Toronto is playing to win now. I think we surprised a lot of people with this series victory and we'll see how it goes against an older and more experienced Buffalo team but damn I'm excited. I feel like we have a good chance to move on, maybe even may a finals appearance. What a wild ride that would be, Our goalie is ancient, a couple of aging future hall of famers, a few young guns leading the charge, and some seasoned veterans leading by example with strong play. Whatever you think of this team, they have already impressed me. Maybe they will continue to impress and end up winning the whole damn thing!

Take 4
I think this take might be the worst out of all of them because there is no way this would even be possible (I am writing this after the first round ended which the Hamilton Steelhawks got swept in but still). The Los Angeles Panthers are a very good team with multiple 2K plus players and then a number of high TPE players as well versus the Hamilton Steelhawks who barely made it into the playoffs and were facing the number one team in the league, Atlanta. Hamilton is a very old team only has three players on their current roster who have higher than 1000 TPE so I can't possible see this happening. It is easy to make it into the playoffs with the current format but in a normal league Hamilton would not have made the playoffs. I could easily see the Panthers making it to the finals but we will have to wait and see. Thank you Brandon, Fish, GeckoeyGecko, Karey, Kit, takethehorizon, and Ragnar for the sigs! I would say I would not agree with this hot take about the Simulation Hockey League Champions Cup playoff round. In the Franchise Hockey Manager era we will likely not see more upsets. After seeing the results from the regular season of the Simulation Hockey League in Franchise Hockey Manager 8 I do not really see much of a difference to say that the playoffs will be much different. In fact I believe that I have heard that home ice advantage in Franchise Hockey Manager 8 is a big boost to the home team which to me is very much anti this hot take about the Simulation Hockey League Champions Cup playoffs especially in round one of the Simulation Hockey League Champions Cup playoffs for the first time in Franchise Manager 8. As much as the community of the Simulation Hockey League would love the Champions Cup playoffs to have more hype and different results, I do not see it happening any time soon.

GK had a really rough go at things this season, and a really rough playoffs coming off a career year in Chicago and had a lot of expectations to live up to in Winnipeg. As he fell short of those expectations you can count on fans not being very happy that a highly touted player joins their team and then flops. With the negative comments online, and media questions that GK needed to face, I can’t say it ever really bothered him. GK for the most part is a guy that keeps to himself, and doesn’t get affected by what the media or fans have to say. Specifically when they interview him sometimes instead of answering in English he will flip to Icelandic in an effort to show he doesn’t really want to talk. It’s either that or he goes and give really brief quick answers without any substance. As for the comments online, he never really pays attention to them and they do not affect him, he just focuses on his game and his fishing. (176 words)

Lias has definitely matured a bit during his time in the SMJHL and as he's moved up to the SHL. He was the kind of person who would get into fights on twitter and who really didn't like it when people underestimated him or didn't give him the respect he thought he deserved. These days, he has shifted his focus more towards proving those people wrong on the ice instead of wasting his time arguing with them on the internet. It used to be that when the media asked him questions, Lias would give them some snark and sass in return if he thought they were being rude or dismissive, but these days he tries to really think over every question and give them a sincere answer. It doesn't always work out; there's always going to be times somebody figures out a way to twist your words even if you had the best of intentions, but he does his best these days anyway because he wants to make his team proud of him and represent Winnipeg well.

Player prompt-
Did I play well enough? Is this a fucking joke to you? Am I a fucking joke to you?! Did I play well enough?! You have to me joking me. What was the training you received before asking this question? Do you run it by any one else?! Did any one anywhere point out how discriminatory this is against players that did not do well? Let me keep reading this… yadda yadda how does your player deal with media Twitter…… Are you fucking joking me?! That was not even the prompt you chose to be so careless with your words! At this point it’s a fucking joke, where’s Ashton Kutcher? I can’t fucking believe you Dan. Ok. Breath. How would I deal with toxic fans or whatever. I’m sorry I’m flustered. I probably wouldn’t be on social media. That shit is unhealthy. I hope that’s a good enough answer. And I hope you all have a wonderful day |
