I actually regularly miss practice when I go out for some fun concerts that happen to be in town the nights before. Team just makes me do bag skates but I see that as a way to get stronger so to be honest it kind of is a win win to me. Might explain my drop in production though

Hank Stopper had to leave practice early to play OOTP, because they have to play it at least 8 hours a day. Simple standards that I am sure the Dragons will understand.

When the taco truck stops in the practice facility parking lot Adam is there. Doesn't matter what is happening. Could be the middle of practice, could be 1 am. If the taco truck is there, so is Adam. When confronted, he just shrugs and says that he likes tacos.

Whenever dunks drops a new coffee flavor/creation I'm there, ready and in line to be the first to try it. Of course I miss practice sometimes but coach understands my obsession with the greatest substances in the world, dunkin coffee.

Yes it's true I met my sister at the airport and took her to dinner, but it's also true I'm too banged up for full contact drills. I haven't seen my sister in a few years and she really needs emotional support right now, as she's going through a messy divorce.

Densiova likes cats, sometimes when his cats don’t want to get off after sleeping on top of him all night, he’ll just skip practice so he doesn’t have to wake them up and upset them

Sean Davies would never be caught skipping practice. You clearly saw his doppelganger out and about. There is absolutely no way that he was skipping practice so he could go back to his roots and play some soccer with the locals. Davies is far too responsible for that...

I will just dress up some random in goalie gear and put her on the ice instead. Friday night Montagne has movie night and this can't be put aside for hockey. They probably won't realize the difference anyway and just blame it on my temper that I'm not putting in any effort to save the puck. A random stranger should be unrecognizable anyway in full goalie gear.

Dave Heinrich: No excuses from me sir.

Coach: Well get to laps then double the usual.

Dave Heinrich: Yes sir!

Short time later

Coach: So one of the training staff caught your boy skipping the extra practice last Friday after I was told that he was too hurt for it. He said he had no excuses for me, but didn't seem worried about a punishment from you. You know anything about what he was up to then?

Agent Tesla: I know everything about it and in fact told him he need not lie to you about it. His company was requested by a young boy in a local cancer ward and I deemed that more important than overworking himself with an extra practice. Now if you disagree with that assessment you are welcome to find out what it feels like to have all of your organs spontaneously shifted to outside your skin. Do you disagree?

Coach: I'm just going to waive that absence.

Agent Tesla: Excellent!

He would only ditch practise or training if it was something very important to do with the cult. Otherwise it would not be worth skipping but anything small he technically would bail on training for.
