I think the only thing more important than hockey which would cause Tomas Zadina to skip practice is a cat fundraiser. He loves cats and would do anything to help raise money to help get more of them adopted and taken care of.

The most important thing to Xavier Doom is, in fact, sleeping. As he's getting up there in age, rest is incredibly important. So if Doom is pretty exhausted, he'll take a day off of practice to catch up on sleep. It irritates the coaches, but when you've been in the league for over a decade, you know your body best. (63)

Sleep is the most important to me. So if I was really behind I’d just tell them I wouldn’t play as good & I need to be my best self.

Well quite easy is something explained like the birth of a child and get excused for it. I think a player would also get in no trouble at all if that happened on gameday as well

Bavel is a closet Celine Dion fan. He has the opportunity to see her perform live and took that opportunity. But in doing so, missed practice and paid the consequences when he refused to explain why he didn’t attend the practice in question.

Drinking beer is more important than practice for Shoyo Hinata. If he get caught drinking beer he would just offer a cold coors light to hotdog and they would be good.

This would technically count as a medical procedure so Kermit would get clearance to miss practice, but due to the wear and tear of the SHL season, Kermit needs to go to an upholsterer at least twice a season to get re-felted

Mental health support for the local community is one of the only reasons Luke would ever miss practice. He simply would be honest about why he missed practice and ask for the forgiveness of his teammates and coaching staff.

Family - if it weren't for Atticus's family, he wouldn't be where he was today. New Orleans understands this so there is no reason to make an excuse. He just has to tell them it's a family matter!

Finn skipped out on practice because his grandparents were visiting for the first time. He would likely punish himself and volunteer to bag skate at every practice next week to make it up to his teammates.

As important as it is to be there when the team is being punished, my player Adam Barron had important things to do: like staying at home and playing through the entire Assassins Creed series, from 1 all the way to Odyssey. Not Valhalla though, as his computer is not good enough to run it and he doesn't make enough per year to afford modern day video card prices.

Brand new season started for diablo 2 ressurected. Coach cannot expect me to come in when I have to be the best in that! Seriously got to be number one at everything
