CREATIVE PROMPT

I keep beating this drum and I feel almost bad for it, but once again we find ourselves talking about saving the penguins. It makes sense because Adelie is a penguin and so preservation of his species is at the top of his list. As such he'd happily take over designing a new custom jersey for the club that would be absolutely covered in different logos for penguin sanctuaries and charities around the world. It would also depict little penguins swimming and jumping around on it to really push forward what the mission is. Who can resist cute little penguins? The proceeds of every sold jersey would be dumped into the different charities and Pengu would even devote his own money and offer to match the donation for every single one sold. After all, sometimes you have to put your money where your mouth is and saving some of the 17 species of penguins that appear on the endangered species list could go a long way.

Creative Prompt:
In Winnipeg, we love giving back to charity. Be it with the 50/50 raffle every game ore players volunteering, we do what we can. Another great way to give back is to wear limited edition practice jerseys and then auction them off for charity. This time around we decided to donate to some local animal shelters, try and help get all of the stray pets adopted and into happy homes. For this event the marketing department decided to trust Jay O'Neil with this one so his idea is to redesign our logo and jerseys, each day before practice we'll be wearing a different jersey with our bear logo redesigned with different animals that people can adopt. Day one is outline of a puppy with the aurora in the background, day two is a cat, day three is a hamster, day four is a fish and the final day is an iguana. Hopefully people will bid on them so all of these lovely animals can find a home (and not just the puppies and kitties).

the anchorage amanda are starting a special alternate jersey (not even thirds, since we already have thirds, so these would be fourths) based on their current captain Philippe Eko Eel (often known by his initials PEE). these uniforms are pee yellow. this shade of yellow was selected by collecting the urine samples (used for typical drug testing) from each member of the team and mixing them together into a cuvee and that was the shade of yellow selected for the jerseys. in addition to the pee yellow color, the numbers on the back of the jerseys are made from eel shapes - the 1 and 2 and 0 are comfortable, but the 4 makes my eel body shriek in pain! these are guaranteed to sell out - as always, the Elric and Eel jerseys will be the highest-selling jerseys, and don't say i just picked those two since they're the only two player last names on the team I know, i know plenty of others!

When I was just a kid I used to collect hockey cards, like a normal young kid around my neighbourhood. I didnt have many cards cause our family was very poor after my dad left us but I ended up snatching a nice Teemu Selänne rookie of the year card from a vintage edition pack. That was my most valued possession when I was young, and I had a computer despite our family being poor, I cherished that more than my any other of my few belongings. One thing I always wanted to start gathering was my favourite local hockey team players jersey. He played there for the entirety of his career, not counting those few seasons he played in the KHL before all of the stuff happened involving Russia and Ukraine, but regardless. He was the captain of the team for a lengthy period, majority of his career now that I think of it. I never had the chance to buy his old jerseys cause they were so expensive and we couldnt afford them back then. Now he's retired and I dont have a chance like that anymore. Crap.

Dusty Rhodes has a great idea for the Armada limited edition jersey coming up. Polka dots. Yup you heard it right, polka dots. Polka dots are funky like a monkey and Dusty is nothing if not funky. By putting polka dots on the ships as well it would look like they've been to war, the dots creating the illusion of shots that the ship has taken. The team however wasn't too thrilled with the idea, thinking polka dots don't quite send the message of what the Armada is supposed to represent. Rhodes tried hard to share his thought process with team management but he ended up failing to convince them that the fans would go crazy over it. So he's decided to take matters into his own hands and create a special Dusty Rhodes polka dot uniform that he will have for sale on his own. It's a way to earn a few extra bucks and to get the fans even more behind big Dusty.

Now I would like to be able to make this jersey in a graphical format but I am just way too busy to put the creativity into these PTs. I have an insane idea for a limited edition jersey. Well, rather there is a safe option and an all out crazy option. The safe option is taking the current kraken alternate and making it all black. Alright decent start. You then do the typical striping but instead of being basic, the stripes are tentacles. Very simple but has the ability to be striking on the ice. Now for the crazy idea. Elbow up on the jersey looks like an old school naval captain jacket, epaulets and all. The part that will make these absolutely gorgeous is that from the elbow down, the jacket ends and an arm of tentacles ala Davy Jones extends to the end of the jersey. You just have to lean into the nautical theme with this team and I think these jerseys do just that. (169)

I used to be really into the Red Wings (when they were good, call me a fair weather fan I guess), and although I haven't kept up with them much lately or been to a game in a while, I still have a good amount of merch. I have a couple of Dylan Larkin bobbleheads, some towels from various games I went to, and a handful of various shirts. But my most prized (and expensive) piece is a Pavel Datsyuk jersey. I bought it at the Joe Louis Arena (RIP, you'll never convince me that the pizzarena is better) at a playoff game that I went to with my dad. My dad and I never really had too much in common and generally don't agree on much, so it's a fond piece of my collection just due to the fact it was something that we could enjoy together. Plus it's the magic man, what's not to love?

Obviously the Calgary Dragons limited edition jersey is related to the greatest of all dishes: the Chicken Parm. The main jersey logo would feature a red and black dragon using a burst of flame to heat a delicious looking chicken parmesean sandwich. The Jersey itself would be black. All around the jersey various dragon types from throughout mythology would be represented in a suitable yet subtle colour. Each would be consuming a delicious, hot, tasty, mouth watering chicken parm sandwich while twisting and intermingling. Conversations would have to be had with various media companies to get the rights to use famous dragons. One such example is Smaug from The Hobbit. He would be sitting on a hoarded mound of Chicken Parm. Various dragons from Dungeons and Dragons could be used. Maybe there is an ice dragon using its magic ability to keep leftover chicken parm sanwiches cold for a later eating sessions. Crap, now I am hungry and need a sandwich. Maybe I will get pastrami.

Montreal is full of pride, and very much wants to give back to its proud city. We have decided to come out with a jersey that displays Montreal’s city flag and Canada’s flag all over the jersey with hints of our own team heritage and the Canadian Leaf to honor the Militia of Canada’s great country. We have also given very heavy thought and have given some hints of Montreal Militia SMJHL team in our own jersey as well. This will conclude as a jersey we use against our rivals the Toronto North Stars as they play in their own heritage jersey as well. The colors of the jersey will be of course White Red with Floral detailing from the Montreal flag including the Fleur-De Lis, the Clover, flower, and Rose. The Maple Leaf will be included as the centerpiece of the jersey. The debut will be Toronto North Stars, and Buffalo Stampede will be the 2nd game with the jersey.

Creative Prompt

Unfortunately, things haven't been going as well as one would've hoped for Great Falls - at no real fault of anyone in the franchise specifically, I should note - and as a result, we have retained the moniker of the Bad Falls Bears. This framing should be coopted by the team to make light of our situation and highlight the fact that life isn't all about winning, it's about facing a loss and playing the game anyway. An honorable pursuit, Manny thinks at least.

So, we decided to create a special jersey to be used for a few games scheduled against the highest-flying opponents in order to embrace this perspective wholeheartedly. The jerseys will be lighthearted in nature with designs being sourced from fans, the colors should be inverted so that instead of wearing our usual brown and gold, we will wear a bluish-grey and navy, supposedly the opposite colors of those we usually wear. We also hope the fans will embrace this approach and will enjoy the designs we have for them.

The Quebec City Citadelles' limited edition jersey would be one celebrating Pride Night. The striping on the jersey behind the logo would become the colours of the trans flag with light blue on the outside, followed by light pink and white on the inside going towards the middle. Next up, the logo itself would be given a rainbow makeover with the white parts of the owl being transformed into the rainbow pride flag. The colours might be bright and bold, but they would really make the jersey pop and show Quebec's commitment to all members of the LGBTQ+ community. On the shoulders would also be the rainbow pride flags to further spruce up the jersey. Finally, the players would sport Pride Tape on their sticks for the game, which would both make their sticks easier to spot on the ice and display support to Pride. Sophie herself had Jamie press on a patch with the lesbian pride flag on the inside of her jersey, so she has a personal connection to the jerseys as well.

The Great Falls Grizzlies have announced that their May the 4th home game will be designated as Star Wars Night! For one night only the team will be known as the Great Falls Wookiees, complete with themed jerseys that feature the team's usual snarling bear logo changed into a roaring Wookiee! The nameplates and numbers will be rendered in the instantly-recognizable STAR WARS font, and the jerseys themselves will be designed to resemble iconic the pale brown robes of Jedi knights. Players will even be using customized sticks painted either "Lightsaber Blue" or "Lightsaber Green." Besides the special edition jersey, Wookiees goalie Alvin Towne will also be using a special green Yoda-themed goalie mask and trapper.
Following the game, Towne's Yoda gear and all game-worn Jedi Edition jerseys will be signed by the players and auctioned off for charity! The team will donate 100% of all money received to Lucasfilm's Star Wars: Force for Change program and the George Lucas Educational Foundation! Official licensed versions of the Jedi Edition jersey will also be available in the Grizzlies' Den team store for a limited time!
