There's so much potential for a Winnipeg Aurora alternate jersey that I can't believe we don't already have one. The jersey would be full black, as to represent the night sky. There would be some sort of dark green and light green aurora-esque design all over the shirt, as if the jersey was a representation of an Aurora. There won't be a logo on it, just a full aurora on a jersey with some stars sprinkled here and there. The jersey numbers would be in bright green on the back with our bear logo somewhere in the numbers. I really do believe that hockey is for everyone, whether you're rich or poor, you should be able to support your favorite team, so that's why the jersey wouldn't be that expensive, I'm thinking somewhere around twenty bucks, so everyone who wants it can buy it. We could also host a special night at the arena and give away the jersey. It'd be nice to have all the attendance where the same shirt!
CREATIVE PROMPT - Your franchise is launching a limited edition jersey next season to be worn at a couple of special home games. For some reason the marketing team has invited you to help! I guess they think you've got good ideas? How nice!
Ok so hear me out, I have an idea for both the Whalers and for the Forge.
For the Whalers, there's a couple things I have. For one, there could be a cool like orca/free willy theme. You could combine the look or an orca with the colors of the whalers into a neat kind of retro throwback look. On top of that you could also do like a movie showing along with it. If possible, they could sell whale tail hats too if we don't already. The second idea I had would be to do a cool crossover with Vancouver Canadians who are a Minor League Baseball team located in Vancouver, British Columbia. They are members of the Northwest League and are affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays. The Canadians wear Whalers style baseball jerseys and the Whalers wear Canadians style hockey jerseys. I think it's a cool idea to help grow the fanbase in both sports.
Honestly I had the same idea for the forge. a cool crossover/blend with the Phillies. Make Phillies style jerseys to wear on the rink would be really cool, honestly any sports in the Philadelphia area would be cool to be able to share jersey styles and looks to make a cool "one philly" kind of theme.

I can't say I've ever been to big on collecting a lot of sports memorabilia but I do have a few things I'm happy about. Namely my Pavel Datsyuk jersey which hangs on the wall behind my desk. It's nothing too special but it does give me some good memories of a better era for my Red Wings from when I watched them when I was younger. Plus I got to wear it to the one Red Wings game I got to go to, hopefully I'll get to do that again this season. I also have an autographed Datsyuk card from early in his career, not sure if it's worth much but it's cool to have. Can you guess who my favourite player was? I also have a pretty sick Steve Yzerman bobblehead sitting by my jersey. That's pretty much all I have, though one day I hope to get a Seider jersey as well, then I'd be happy.
The Montreal Patriotes are launching a limited edition collector jersey for S67. This jersey is designed to honour the history of hockey in Quebec and as a result features the white and blue colours of the Quebec flag, as well as a fleur-de-lis emblem and motif. The shoulder patches feature the flags of the Patriotes Republic of Lower Canada, as well as the Republic of Canada.
The jerseys will be worn for home games between December 4-7 to honour the original Patriotes from the 1837 uprisings, whose struggle (though eventual defeat) led to the unification of Upper and Lower Canada, and the creation of the British North America Act, which laid the foundation for the creation of an independent Canada. The team will be selling these limited edition alternate jerseys via silent auction on the team website, and the proceeds from the sales will fund youth hockey in Montreal. There will be twenty unsigned, nameplate-free versions for sale, with bids starting at $150. There will be game-worn, signed jerseys from each roster member, with bidding for each starting at $200.

This task was tailor made for Egli. After practice last week coach pulled Egli aside and told him after he cleaned himself up the marketing team wanted to see him. Now, Egli isn't exactly university material - he went from sheep hearder to (possibly) all-star SMJHL player pretty quickly. He wondered what on earth the team's marketing department would want with him.
He showered and got dressed and headed up the stairs to the massive wood-clad boardroom where not only the marketing team sat, but the geber manager and owners of the team. They told him they were so happy to have him around and they wanted to release a classic Timber jersey. Made entirely of Swiss wool from his family's flock, and they wanted his help with the design.
Egli was over the moon! They went with a dark green for the base colour, with thick tan stripes on the hem and the arms, with a thin darker brown stripe in the middle of the tan. Player numbers will be placed inside of the arm stripe in black, stitched with tan and outlined in the teams classic bottle green. The chest crest is the team's name in a classic scripture font in the same colour as the numbers - a throw back to the vintage University of Maine hockey jerseys of years past.
It is no surprise the SHL reached out to Oles as the league considers the Slavic player to be one of the best hockey players to ever go on the runway. However after receiving the call from commissioner Drunken Teddy, Oles decided to put his ego aside and help shed some light on a very pressing world issue. Oles was given the job was to help redesign the Yukon Malamute home jersey. While Oles has publicly stated tie and time again that he loves the colour scheme, keeping the blue white and marron, he feels it should be more action in the jersey than what is currently available. one phone call and Kanye West has agreed to collaborate with Oles on this Adidas jersey. Rather then just a logo on the jersey, fans can now wear the teams uniform with a blizzard covering the front shirt, a wolf perched on the top of a mountain side with a powerful stance and gaze. To top it off, every right shoulder/collarbone area will have a small, but bold Ukrainian flag to spread awareness about what that devil of a man Putin is currently trying to do. and of course bottom left of the jersey would also have Kanye West's signature!

The Seattle Argonauts' limited edition jersey would be based around the Greek myth of the golden fleece, and as such would be golden as the base colour. Specifically an authentic looking gold, not that mustard ass sport gold that gets overused everywhere you look in sports. Real gold and real gold only for these guys. Think the gold on the recent Buffalo Sabres alternate jerseys, which are a good match for the overall colour scheme outside the white base. We would likely rework the alternate logo of the Argonaut warrior into a main logo for this jersey as that logo is extremely popular. Overall, these jerseys would be extremely eye-catching and unique in a way that many jerseys cannot capture, and would give a very different look on the ice for the team. Fans have been clamouring for a new uniform for seasons now, and this is the design that would create the most hype with the fanbase.
Growing up I was actually never really that into Hockey, but I will say one thing that I had that was I guess a “collectible ” would have been my hockey jerseys. My uncle and my dad were both big into hockey when I was a kid, so it seemed like every birthday and Christmas I would get hockey jerseys. I wouldn’t say I had a ton of them, but I had quite a few different avalanche jerseys, as they were my first ever jersey since it was my uncles favorite team. I still have my original Sakic jersey and Forsberg jersey from when I was a kid, even though they clearly do not fit me anymore, just something that I have. I also remember getting Forsbergs national jersey, I want to say Sweden if I remember correctly, and it still sits on a hangar in my closet to this day. Great memories and I would call them my personal collections.
Jaska Seppala of the Buffalo Stampede was incredibly confused when the marketing department of the Buffalo Stampede asked him to help the marketing team with a limited edition jersey for next season. Jaska Seppala's design would not be for any special cause as it is merely for profit. Jaska Seppala would limit the number to about 2,000 jerseys and sell them for $400 each. He thinks with the limit amount of jerseys made they could easily make a ton of money off of them. The colors would be completely different than the color scheme that the Buffalo Stampede currently use. Jaska Seppala would want to make the jersey primary blue with a hind of gold to them. The gold would be in lines going across the jersey. The logo on the jersey would look similar to the current logo but slightly altered with more gold and white in it. The jersey would look super cool with comic sans font
Thank you Brandon, Fish, GeckoeyGecko, Karey, Kit, takethehorizon, and Ragnar for the sigs!
There is only one real answer to this question. How should they look like? Of course they resemble the grinch, as is tradition in the Atlanta Inferno locker room. Why the grinch you may ask? Shut up and just deal with it. The grinch is iconic, the grinch is love, the grinch is life. Also, the grinch may drink coffee that is acidity.
The jerseys are green and have fur attached to it, to have the original grinch feeling. The pants are kept red, to have some of the original colors in the looks. On the jerseys, on front, in big white letters stands the word "GRINCH". The white text is also in fur look-a-like texture. The helmets are also kept in grinch green, and have the face of the grinch on top of it.
This will be the most iconic jerseys ever seen in the league, and if you don't love them you don't love hockey, the league or anything. There is no real discussion about them but pure awe and everyone wants to have jerseys as cool as those. I think they even have the chance to become the original jerseys in the near future.
Oh, we’re going to have a beautiful new jersey in Regina. Instead of the primary purple color, it will be gold with black and purple stripes and piping down the bottom and the sleeves of the jersey. The elk itself will be wearing sunglasses. This will be a unique jersey sponsored by a local sportswear company, and they will have their logo fixated right on the upper left part of the chest on the jersey. It will be worn on four inter-conference games starting in the S68 season. My biggest regret is that Lord Farquaads will not be around in Regina to wear these beautiful threads next year, as it will be time for him to make his debut up in the big leagues with the Winnipeg Aurora. These jerseys will be available online via the reginaelkshop.com and in the pro shop at the arena for a cool $199 price tag. You can have it customized with your favorite Elk player, too!
