The guy in the organization and I have already sorted it out. Well, kind of. Instead of beating up the guy in the organization, I beat up the reporter who asked the question about it. So when you really dig into the weeds, it's probably not sorted at all. So maybe that's why they wanted this meeting. Well, either way, I'm not going to meet with him because I'm going to repress these feelings deep down where they surely won't boil over at a crucial part of the season. I'll be fine until after the playoffs and honestly, by then, the incident will be so far into the rear view mirror that I won't even remember why I was upset. There will be some other thing that comes up that upsets me and I'll move on. It's water under the bridge and in that water are the deep dark secrets of the Atlanta organization which I will take to the grave (also likely to be in that deep dark water).

CREATIVE PROMPT

“Sit. Down.” The voice said from behind the chair as it began to spin to face me. Coach was not pleased. He looked more pissed off than a bull locked in a room painted red. “Why are you fighting publicly with the new equipment assistant?” Damn, I guess my actions are finally catching up to me, I thought to myself for a minute before answering. “It’s an old fling from the old country, you wouldn’t understand the pressure our families put on us to dislike each other.” I said it as clearly and politely as I could. The coach just glared at me. I’ve seen this look before. I’ve been feeling it burn a hole in the back of my helmet on the bench for a few games now. No wonder my mind has been racing all season long. The coach is pissed and is going to take it out on me. “What can we do to solve this ‘problem’.” The Coach asked. “I’ll quit my shit if he quits his, it will be that simple.” When I left the office I knew I had to keep my promise. I'll stop messin with the guy if he can stop messin with me. Maybe I’ll make him a good ole pizza pie as a peace offering.

Player prompt

It happen when you are a goalie that some of the fault get put on you, but deep down, you know that it's not everything that is your fault.
Instead of give shit to a specific defenseman for a bad cover or a forward that didn't do his backcheck, it is best to talk to the team in general. SHL players can be some diva sometimes and being a bitch to some teammates is not the solution.
Yeah if someone want to specifically blame me, he probably needs to look himself in the mirror because everyone make mistakes. Sure the one the goalie made are obvious because it's almost everytime lead to a goal, but it's not a reason to always blame him. Players knows when they made one and the goalie are the same. If you want to blame me in front of everyone, you need some solid backup because you will find that goalies can have a short temper when they are not on the ice Wink

Creative prompt;

Well last time I told you of the one fan that absolutely despised Svoboda, the one that would sit behind the Panthers bench every home game and hurl insults at him. Around the halfway mark of the season, Svoboda noticed the fan wasn't showing up to games anymore. Finally Svoboda had some reprieve from the constant harassment, and he could focus more on improving his game.

One day after showing up early for practice, Svoboda bumped into that same fan in the hallway.

"What are you doing here?" Svoboda asked

"Oh I'm the new coach, enjoy the fourth line" The man responded

"But we only use three lines"

The man laughed and walked to his new office as Svoboda was left wondering how this came to be. Svoboda immediately rushed to the GMs office and asked why this man was hired as the new coach. The GM told him the fan was clearly very passionate, and that was something the team needed in this turbulent season.

Svoboda was speechless, and true to his character he figured he would give it a go, suck it up, and go to practice.

Hockey, by its very nature, is a sport that breeds conflict. One has to be in the proper headspace to hit other human beings regularly, as well as slap their sticks around or even get into a fist fight at any occasion on the ice. Due to that, it is unsurprising that conflict between teammates or other people in the organization is not uncommon. It is easy to imagine people getting into fights and letting their emotions carry them away, even when not on the ice. Jon St. Ark had had the luxury of being in the Simulation Hockey for a long, long time now. He's approaching being one of the longest tenured goaltenders that the team has ever had. There was a time when he was still a rookie in the league and he got into a fight with then-starting goaltender Aleister Cain, over playing time and who would be the next goaltender of the Specters. It was settled amicably, however, with time.

In real life, nothing annoys me more than a puck hog. Especially when they don't have the talent to justify that much puck possession. So I would like to think my player is the same in that regard. If he ever happens to run into a teammate who displays that attitude, or just a teammate who has a negative attitude in the locker room it is first a discussion for the coach or the captain. Unless he's the captain, it's not really his place to call a fellow teammate out. If he is the captain, or the coach/captain doesn't try to fix the problem, then he'd confront the player in question. He'd do so in a respectful manner, because there is nothing worse for a team than conflict between the players. If that doesn't solve the problem, then there's really nothing else for him to do but bite his tongue and do his best to deal with the issues.

Upon philippe-eko eel's first call up to the atlanta inferno, he got into a heated argument with several of the older members of the atlanta inferno. Pablo salvatici, michael withecheck, puddles o'duck, and paul binder, in particular. philippe eko eel glided into the locker room like he was hot shit, proclaiming himself as the best animal to ever play for the atlanta inferno. the older members of the inferno, however, remember a player by the name of eko van otter quite well, and got up in arms to defend old EVO's honor. they told philippe eko eel that he wasn't shit compared to eko van otter, that eel could never fill EVO's legendary shoes. Philippe was incensed at first but eventually realized that there really was an otter who used to play for the inferno and will make the hall of fame one day. philippe eko eel eventually calmed down and accepted this fact, he acted as the Bigger Eel in this instance.

Despite Jarrod Lakemore's best efforts to downplay any rift between him and his special teams coach, the head coach has decided it was time to lay all the cards on the table and have each side air their grievances. The special teams coach reiterated how frustrating it can be when Lakemore takes an unnecessary penalty and puts his team in a position of having to kill off a penalty without one of their PKers. He also begrudgingly admits that Lakemore's play style is simply going to lead to penalties on occasion and he doesn't wish to change his identity as a player. Lakemore stated his belief that he has earned a reputation as a frequent penalty taker due to his more undisciplined play in previous seasons, but actually has been playing more disciplined lately. He also thinks he is often unfairly punished by refs who may penalize him more on reputation than what they actually saw happen. Lakemore does admit he still has work to do on the discipline side and playing hard and physical can also be done cleanly. They shake hands and a tentative truce is made between them.... for now.
