The locker rooms are going to need to be state of the art. As a player that comes to this place to train, play, and do my job, I will need top of the class amenities to allow me to do my job to the best of my abilities. With the amount of revenue we bring in for this franchise, I want the owners to dish out and renovate these locker rooms into places that we never want to leave. There should be excellent recovery equipment so that we can come back stronger and quicker to our next games. We need to ensure that we are 100% when we head out onto the ice. There’s a great advantage to hockey when you are feeling 100% versus banged up and carrying some lingering injuries. Therefore, I expect to have a great weight room attached to the lockers so that we can stay in peak physical shape.

Most of what this comes down to is the film room. In the end most locker rooms are pretty much the same, logo on the floor, funky smell, bunch of half naked dudes. Weight rooms are important, but really they also have that funky smell and half naked dudes. So the film room is where I like to be. Big comfy chairs, no funky smells, big screen TVs, along with ipads. This is the best way to make sure I can watch every time I screw up in wonderful HD over and over again. My special request is a nice recliner in the corner with dim lighting, some blankets and snacks. That way when I am tired I can just put a movie on and ipad and pretend to be learning something from game tape, when really it's the Lego Movie. Also it is a great place to sneak in a nap. Don't read this coach.

When Thomas first got to Hamilton to check out his future home, he was surprised by the stark differences in amenities. Don't get him wrong, Thomas saw world-class facilities. Sure they weren't of the level of the Toronto North Stars or the Los Angeles Panthers, but they were still first-rate. However, Nevada's amenity areas had more "themeing" to say the least. Where were the slot machines? The blackjack tables? The Pit Bossess? Was that truly a Nevada-centric thing? Thomas loved spending an hour on the penny slots post-workout. Thomas doesn't always want to end his workout with cardio! He was also shocked by the film room. Hamilton didn't have any movies in there! In Nevada, they watch movies like Casino, Goodfellas, Hangover, and Ocean's Eleven every couple of days! Do the SHL players know no fun? Instead of the movies, there was a giant cut out of Aaron Wilson in the room, whose watchful eyes ensured proper film study. Thomas felt like he was gonna have to grow up to play for the Steelhawks and their professional attitude toward the game of hockey.

When management asked Angry what the name of the new arena should be, he knew it could only be one name. Chubbs Petters Arena! Angry knew the new Arena should pay hommage to his mentor. The man who showed him how to play golf by harnessing his inner peace. A skill Angry was able to transpose into hockey wich finaly allowed him to hit the net with his slapshots. As for the Arena district, Angry really enjoy when an arena is at the center of the entertainement distric. As such, he began by contacting the other major sport's team in the region to order them to move their activities on the same street corner as the Renagades. Then, since Angry really likes to play golf, he would become the owner of a new Top Golf range he would build right next to the Arena. The Arena would have a retractivle roof (like some stadiums in the NFL) so people would be able to drive some golf balls while also watching the game.
Getting ready because there is only 364 days before the next hockey team selection

Some of Nash's favorite amenities when it comes to arenas are multiple food courts, treat dispensers, and most of all a clean enough bathroom that you could eat off of. When it comes to the weight room, thats not really nash's forte. I can see the rest of the team finding it important but. Making sure there is a fully stocked buffet and enough tables for the team and their families is very important. Nash is a big entertainer and loves to be around people. Making sure there is a good variety of food (healthy, unhealthy and vegetarian options of course) is super important. We also want to make sure that everyone feels included, so there are plenty of pride banners and LGBTQ+ supportive messages all over the arena. Everyone should be happy when coming to the arena whether its for a hockey game or a concert so making sure that everyone feels included is the most important thing to Nash.

I feel like when you get up there in age as a professional athelete you always have to have some kind of weirdo fitness thing you do that you claim keeps you in prime condition and extends your career. I feel like Burlok's thing would be some kind of grass therapy.
So in the new weight room he's demanded there be a 10x10 patch of real grass that he can stretch on post workout. It's all about the skin on grass contact. According to him 15 minutes of stretching in grass is like 2 hours of stretching on a rough synthetic floor. He says it's because your body absorbs Gaia particles from close contact with nature. These particles bind to the oils on your skin, and then absorb into your bloodstream. As they course through your muscles and organs they have a rejuvinating effect on damaged tissue. They also activate pathways in the brain that have been dormant since our ancient ancestors that lived in the wild, heightening our senses, our awareness, and our empathy. Anyways that's why he's so good at hockey, according to him and a doctor he talks to twice a day online. So yeah, grass in the weight room please.

PROMPT 2 - WRITTEN TASK
Aumy Junior II has been a professional from the moment he put on his skates, so he doesn't care that much about the arena he is playing in. At the end of the day, both teams have the same ice, arena and locker rooms. They both are in the same situation. However, there are specific things that might get him a bit happier. It's very important for him that massage table isn't in the locker room as in many arenas, but in an empty room somewhere else. If he gets his massage before the game alone with no distraction, he can be more relaxed. He doesn't like when arena owners are turning off the lights, so they can save some money on electricity too. It happens way too often nowadays... They turn out the lights exactly when he is ready to warm up. Weight room and film room is important to him as well, but the priority are cozy chairs somewhere in arena where he has an access. Being always ready and refreshed is his priority, so sitting, relaxing and drinking water in a such a place is the thing which each arena needs to have to make him satisfied. For example, Carolina "Kraken" in SMJHL has made a special room just for him. And I've heard that his future SHL team Toronto "North Stars" are thinking to do the same. Maybe each arena has to have it for their best players? That would be a great motivation for any player to take a leader role. 256 words

When Kevin heard this news, he immediately wanted for Kelowna to have a new arena. Downtown Kelowna is a great place to be, especially because I went there. But something a little more daring I would say is to make a arena close to the Okanagan valley. Because it is one of the most famous places to go to in Kelowna, it would be a great place to go to. People could see hockey, then after the game they could play in the lake with their family. Because it's water, of course they can't build it that closely. Probably a distance where could go from the arena to the lake in a short period of time, maybe even by walking. Kelowna is known for wine too so there could be a winery around the arena that could serve drinks outside the arena and inside. And probably make the wine inside the arena less umm professional as the one outside of the arena for money sakes.

Max Carnage cares most about an absolutely state of the art weight room. He spends most of his time at the facility in there when he's not out on the ice creating pure carnage. After that, the player's restaurant is also most important so he can get in his 6500 calorie daily diet in order to maintain his playing weight. He asks that the restaurant be fully stocked with everything needed for his signature "Maxed out" smoothies of which he drinks 4 a day. They include peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries along with a portion of oats. He says these smoothies are the reason he's never been injured and doesn't plan to stop with them for the foreseeable future. Third on his list is a recreational room where he and fellow teammates can wind down with some ping pong and retro video games. Max is an avid retro gamer and has even brought in some of his own games to the locker room. 169 words

The new Seattle Argonauts arena should be called the Ship and it should actually just be an ice hockey rink permanently on a ship. I honestly don't know how it would work, besides with magic but I just love the idea that it is a thing. And then along the coast and shore line you could have a bunch of stores for the fans and also swimming spots for the ocean as well. You could even offer boat tours around the ocean and maybe people could watch the games from a yacht next to the stadium if they are higher up then. There is so many possibilities with this that I can't even believe it hasn't been done before, I mean the ideas kinda write themselves here. And I think there is a lot of marketability, especially towards kids if you have a massive ship that acts as a stadium. I say we should go for it!

Lord Farquaads is not too picky when it comes to amenities in the arena. No, he tends to be pretty vanilla in his demands during contract time. It’s all pretty standard for an SHL player – dedicated shoe shining personnel, a private entrance to the underground dungeon deep below Northern Lights Arena, 14 dedicated cells for the fairy tale creatures he can successfully trap and imprison, and an interrogation room full of signed memorabilia from Winnipeg Jets and Winnipeg Aurora players of the past. Thankfully, due to the fact that Lord Farquaads agent is actually the General Manager of the Aurora, these simplistic requests have been pretty easy to acquiesce to. Lord Farquaads takes his private dungeon elevator down after every game to do some post-game torture. Finally, his penthouse in the tower of Northern Lights Arena has to be furnished with fine ogre-skin furniture. It’s a groovy green, almost Aurora green. RIP Dangel. See you on the other side, brother

Adam Liebold's design for the new Baltimore Platoon Areana would be right on the water in the baltimore harbor. It would be built to mirror the image of Civil war era fort. There will four towers on each corner of the areana with cannons lining all the walls. it will be build out of a grey stone with a large brick layed pattern. The cannons will be fuctional in case of a siege of the city of Baltimore, but more importantly it will be hurricane, eathquake and natural disaster proof, this is to aid the citizens of the city in the event of an emergency. The cannons will be fired after every win by the team. There will be a public access space on the top of the building and you will be able to tour the ramparts and look over the Baltimore harbor. We plan to design the building with an under water parking stucture as well, with viewing windows to check out the aquaitc sea life!

Sir Devoir is a very cultured person, so one thing he loves to have in an arena is easy access to the team history. The Weight room also needs to have easy charging ports so he can listen to music while he is lifting weights or running on the treadmill without worrying about his phone running out of battery. He expects to have a nice living room like press box with an attached bar so the VIPs can have a place to drink and he has a place to relax after the games of he does not have to immediately go home after the games. He also expects comfy seats and working air conditioning inside the locker rooms, and was very pleasantly surprised when he saw that the Baltimore Platoon had put a Poke block mixer inside the locker room and in different areas around the stadium just so he had a place to make his favorite snacks. Also the Flim room should have reserved seats for all the players so they don't have to try to fight for a seat. |
