Jonathon Hagan of the Montreal Patriotes would want several amenities at the Patriote’s arena, and practice facilities, that would make showing up early and staying late very fun times, as well as just showing up the the facility or arena in general. First of all, the locker room for Montreal at their home arena would have to have a full service bar, with kegs, liquor, and other goodies, for the team to enjoy. Second, when the team goes on away trips, a bar would need to travel with the team. Third, at the practice facilities for the team, there would also need to be a full service bar. This way players could come in, have some drinks, stay after practices or games, and generally just have a very fun time. Fans could also pay to enjoy these amenities, or be invited by the players as well, in the case of those at the practice facilities for the team

If you’re asking what are the most important things when it comes to players’ desires in a new arena, there are two things that come to mind first and foremost from listening to various hockey podcasts and such over the years: the locker room and the spouse area. First, with the locker room, no player wants to come to a home game and have a worse locker room then they would have on the road sometimes. You’ve gotta get the space age locker stalls, something similar to the Oregon football locker room, or you have to go aggressively classic with the dark wood, tons of space for each player, and a nice open area in the middle for the team logo on the ground. With the spouses space, it’s come up more often than you might expect that this is something that is mentioned a lot when it comes to things that players care about. Childcare so the spouses can enjoy the game when they’re coming to them, amenities like private entrances and nice food, all these things go a long way. And as the old saying goes, happy wife happy life. Of course for the SHL it would have be something like happy spouse happy… I don’t know, someone smarter than me can find s good rhyming word here.

Player Prompt:
There is one practice facility amenity that meta knight requires above all others. There is simply no way he would enjoy being a professional athlete without it, and it would be one of the few things that would see him request a trade if it was removed and that is the popcorn machine. There is simply no other snack like popcorn. A little butter isn't really in the diet plan, but it's one of the things that cannot be without really. A little bit salty, maybe some sweet, definitely buttery is required. For other players it might be things like a sauna, the massage staff, maybe even the gym equipment or something for players who masochists. All those things are minimum expectations of course, but without the joys in life, like popcorn, there is simply no way Meta Knight would enjoy his time in the league or at practice the same. He even has one in his home, but when the corn-kick comes during work hours, having the machine close by really helps out.

There are many amazing training facilities out there for professional athletes and Eggward Elric's vision for the new Edmonton Blizzard amenities is to take the best of each team and use those to our benefit so that we can become the best versions of ourselves that we can be.
Eggward Elric would love to have a lot of high end technology based facilities as part of being on the Edmonton Blizzard. He thinks it is important to have a upto date fitness center so that he can increase the longevity of the equipment and track way more than just the normal (in the case for cardio equipment) date with calories and distance travelled. Adding trackers for heart rate and ones with more rigorous activities can provide long term benefits with their athletes. Similarly having upto par video and conference rooms can really help the Blizzard players by having great film sessions to scout and prepare for other teams theyre facing in the future. IIHF Federation Head froggie Code: Written Task: Tell me what your player cares most about in terms of stadium amenities. What do they expect to see? What would surprise them, positively or negatively? What do the weight room and film room absolutely have to have? (150+ words) Fiske does not want for much, but in his time with the Rage he's definitely gotten picky about the food. He's got his favorite chef, and he does not trust the new chefs when they first arrive until they get through at least a week without messing up any orders. In terms of a weight room, he likes up to date machines and showers that warm up quickly, and he wants a film room that he can sleep in. He will be absolutely honest, when the lights go off, it's 50/50 whether he's able to stay awake or not. He sits next to someone who's nice enough to nudge him awake when a coach notices him, and he'll try to doodle to stay awake, but he'd much rather take a nap. So it better have those big cushy seats that he can just sink right into and conk out. Otherwise, it can have the regular types of facilities and he'll be happy.

If Billy could get one major amenitiy in the new BUffalo Stampede arena, it would be an absolutely decked out film room. THe film room is very important to Billy in making sure that he is comfortable while he is reviewing his film of the week. Currently, the Arena they play in has a film room of a old concrete bunker essentially with a few metal folding chairs set up and a projector screen that is brought in on wheels. It is not ideal at all and the discomfort you feel while sitting there and watching yourself play absolutely does not make for any sort of good performance in the game. Things are not great in the current situation in imagining how things could be in the arena. What Billy would really love is a state of the art movie theater type place that could seat the whole team at the same time in a great heated seating environment. There is a lot of great things that could happen in the 30 minutes that we spend reviewing film every morning and the better movie theater would make this complete.

Written Task: Tell me what your player cares most about in terms of stadium amenities. What do they expect to see? What would surprise them, positively or negatively? What do the weight room and film room absolutely have to have? (150+ words) 187 words So... The chumps in this city decided to go against every study ever done on the topic and use taxpayer money to build us a fancy new stadium? Really stupid decision, I support it fully. Now that we can get to work planning our new home it's important for the needs of the team to be taken into account... and by the team I mean me. My needs should be taken into account. Lucky for whomever is designing our new home, my needs are simple: an IMAX size screen to utilize solely for my pregame, postgame, and between period viewings of bloodsport. While Jean Claude Van Damme's performance is captivating on any size screen, the IMAX format provides a chance to be completely immersed in the Kumite alongside our hero, Frank Dux. Realistically, IMAX might not be adequate for this. If the taxpayers of this city were smart, they'd take all the public funds they're planning to spend on the stadium and put them towards the development of a technology capable of providing the most perfect way to screen bloodsport that is, was or ever will be.

so bingo (that was his name according to the eel mr @hotdog o) would really need there to be some special amenities in the new arena that they are building in the city of atlanta georgia not to be confused with georgia the country that is in europe no well bingo would really require that there be lots and lots of conference rooms in the arena high up in the stands where there are special elevators for seniors to be able to go up to the rooms because their knees are maybe not so good and they can't walk up so many stairs and these rooms are dedicated just for bingo nights at the atlanta inferno arena for all seniors to come and play bingo while the inferno play their hockey games under the bingo rooms and sometimes bingo would make a special appearance to these bingo nights and pablo as well but pablo shows up just as a regular player because he is getting oldge and now plays bingo in his spare time whenever he doesn't feel like playing hockey sorry for edit i forgor to tag @Jepox

The options of amenities for what a stadium can offer has skyrocketed with the idea of higher and higher tiers of luxury. There have been options that ranged from private club rooms as part of luxury boxes, to having a booth right where a section of seats would have otherwise been. Heck, there's even been some stadiums that have hot pools for fans to soak and take in the live action at the same time. If there were to be something else to expand, having all sorts of 'relaxing' options should also be considered. While it'd be great to see the fans get their blood rushing and heart pumping, it'd also be great to offer the choice to relax where possible. For example, perhaps a massage service that occurs during a period. In order to ensure that they'd still be able to watch the game and get an even more unique experience, they'd be in the rafters looking down and getting a bird's eye view of the ice.

Player Prompt:
Hai Nam Hoang has played in it all, from shoebox rinks with wooden boards and puddles at center ice, to multi-million dollar venues with some of the finest commodities in the world for players and fans alike. World-weary experience gives Hoang an appreciation for the small things that make quality-of-life for his teammates and friends, but he also understands that the rink is only as good as the team in it, and more importantly, the ice is only as good as the ice itself. Hoang himself learned how to play hockey on a dirt road outside of his house, so he knows that humility when it comes to his surrounding is not only polite, but it's foundational for who Hoang is as a hockey player. If we were all playing in the street, would we criticize whether it was paved? Of course, says Hoang, but it doesn't mean the quality of the game needs to change.

For Xavier Doom, the most important thing at this stage of his career are amenities that can prolong it as long as possible. The biggest way to do that is by having top notch medical and training facilities on hand. Doom is a BIG proponent of the underwater treadmill as well. He can run and keep up his endurance, but the stress on his knees, hips, and ankles are minimized. Not to mention that when he has an injury of some sort, perhaps like a pulled calf or quad, the lack of stress on his body when running in the water will allow him to train as he heals. It's also VERY important to him for the team to have a master massage therapist on hand. Soft tissue injuries are common in the hockey world, and by being able to get a daily massage (or every other day at least) will keep his body in tip top shape. The last thing he prefers, and he actually championed this cause to get it in the New Orleans Locker Room: a cryotherapy chamber. Cryo is a great way to heal and get your body regenerating healthy tissue. 3 minutes in the chamber and you'll come out feeling GREAT before the next game. (211)

New rink new me am I right? Filip loves the idea of a new rink, all shiny and has that new rink smell. Though, he has always preferred to play in the barns. The run down, ice is colder than the arctic circle kind of rink. That said, if the rink was built brand new he would expect all the bells and whistles! The best digital board in the league for starters. Truly feel that the scoreboard is so important for an atmosphere of a rink. People look at it so frequently that it truly needs to be a talking point. The work out room, comes equipped with a full massage and physiotherapy department. Nothing is more important than making sure the players are healthy and ready to go! The seating better be adequate numbers to accommodate the entire fan base. We don't want to build this rink, and not be able to sit all of our fans. Inclusion is important, and we want the best for them.
