b. New England vs Winnipeg makes this a rematch of the S70 finals! What does Winnipeg have to do differently to take round two, two seasons later, in season seventy-two? 1 TPE
All Winnipeg needs to do to succeed in this postseason is get out of their own heads. They are the most brutal type of snakebitten imaginable. To go so far and fall short four seasons in a row is heart breaking. If they want to finally get over that hump, they need to go out there and play like it is just another game. They are a great team that has been second guessing themselves for too long.

c. The Aurora defeated the Blizzard in their conference final, and the Wolfpack sank the Forge. Who had the more impressive victory to punch their ticket to the cup final, and why? 1 TPE
The New England Wolfpack had the more impressive victory to get into the finals. No offense to the Edmonton Blizzard but the Philadelphia Forge are a team that have tasted success more recently. They still have much of the team that won the cup a few seasons back and have proven themselves in the much better overall eastern conference. The Wolfpack had to get through more thorough challenges to end up in the finals.

10. Written, 3 TPE, IIHF Analysis (150 words min.) Do you foresee any specific upsets in this season's IIHF? Any risers or fallers that might be hot takes? If not, why do you think the best will stay the best?
In this season's international hockey play within the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation), there are several factors that could potentially lead to upsets or surprises. While predicting specific outcomes in sports is always challenging, some factors may contribute to unexpected results.
One key factor to consider is the ever-evolving talent pool in international hockey. Emerging nations have been investing heavily in their hockey programs, leading to improved competitiveness. This investment could result in some so-called "underdog" teams upsetting more established powerhouses. We've seen this trend in recent years, with countries like Ireland and Japan making deeper runs in tournaments. Moreover, team chemistry, and coaching strategies can also play significant roles in determining outcomes. If top teams face challenges in these areas, it could create opportunities for upsets. However, the best teams often have a combination of depth, experience, and talent that helps them maintain their dominance. I expect teams like the United States and Canada to still be the front runners as a result.
12. Written, 2 TPE - The Procrastinator Special! (100 words min.) Looks like [TEAM] won Season 72! Who won and why? What could the other team have done differently to change the result? What was your favorite part of the series?
The Winnipeg Auroa won the Season Seventy Two Challenge Cup which I want to start off by giving them a big congratulations on a well deserved championship win. They have built an absolute dynasty winning multiple president trophies in the past couple seasons, have made it to four straight Challenge Cup finals, built a team a couple 100 tpe stronger then the second strongest team tpe wise, drafted and traded extremely well the past ten seasons. They have become the standard of regular season and post season success and consistency and should have won multiple championship by this point if it was not for bad luck in the finals in my opinion.

a. You can never take success for granted, but these are two of the
league's heavy favorites coming into the cup finals. Pick either of our
finalists, and tell me what about them impresses you the most!
b. New England vs Winnipeg makes this a rematch of the S70 finals! What
does Winnipeg have to do differently to take round two, two seasons
later, in season seventy-two?
a. I am so impressed with Winnipeg. To be in 4 straight finals is not an easy thing to do. Even having lost the last three, the path to get there is tough. This team is a certified powerhouse, and the general management team as well as the players should be very proud of what they have built and accomplished there. (60 words)
b. This season, Winnipeg needs to win on the road. In Season 70, they won the first two games at home and then lost the next two on the road to allow the series to be tied up at 2-2. I believe that deflated the Aurora a bit, and they could not bounce back from it. This year, if Winnipeg can play to their strengths both at home and on the road, they will win this final. (76 words)

Winnipeg is a cup finalist for an astonishing fourth year in a row! To
make that happen in the current era of the SHL requires serious skill
and deserves appreciation. What is it that makes this Aurora era so
successful? What have been the most crucial factors in their Western
dominance? What lessons should the rest of the league learn from their
success?
First and foremost, what has made the Winnipeg Aurora such a powerhouse is that their players are extremely dedicated and hardworking. Without members who are committed to being 2k+ TPE earners, this team does not go to four straight finals. The other thing that makes this team so successful is that they are extremely well balanced. Every year, this team finds themselves at the top of the league in goals scored, while also being one of the best teams at keeping pucks out of their own net. This balance has allowed the Aurora to win both ways, and when one side has an off night in the playoffs, the other side can win the game for them. Winnipeg is a shining example to the rest of the league of creating a winning culture and acquiring a well balanced team to ensure sustained success. It starts with successful drafts and picking the right players, but the harder part is keeping those team members engaged and committed to making their players the best that they can possibly be to be a part of continued success like what we have seen in Winnipeg. c. In the conference finals, New England took on the Philadelphia Forge and won 4 games to 3, and the Winnipeg Aurora took on fellow Canadian team the Edmonton Blizzard and beat them 4 games to 1. Overall, clearly the win for Winnipeg was more impressive and decisive, but New England's victory is not without merit. It shows a lot of grit and clutch to win a series that goes to game seven, so they are a battle-tested team for sure.

10. It doesn't look as if there's a lot of turnaround in terms of quality if the predictions are to be believed. Ireland looks to do a strong showing this season as well which is something I really like although I'm not exactly around to enjoy it after my last careers were spent as a proud member of their side. So to speak, I missed the gold but I think it's for the best that they've gotten it regardless. I think anyone looking to dethrone these champs will have a real hard challenge ahead of them. Good luck to 'em all, y'know?
