a. I would say what is impressive the most about the Edmonton Blizzard of the Simulation Hockey League in the Challenge Cup finals is that they built up a roster and stayed patient for awhile. They waited and everything fell into place. Teams knew they were coming but they could not stop them. They have an overall good team due to being built well. (60 Words)

b. I think I would rather be the young hungry team as the team with the experience may come in cocky and the young and hungry team could take away their sails. I think the Blizzard were built in a such a way the Forge's experience will not matter as much. I want speed and skill over experience. (57 Words)

c. I think the Edmonton Blizzard taking out the powerhouse Winnipeg Aurora is more impressive as the West has been Winnipeg's for a few seasons and they were built similarly to the Edmonton Blizzard many seasons ago. I think the Blizzard used the Winnipeg method to building and were able to beat them. The Blizzard are likely going to be back for many seasons to come just like Winnipeg was. (69 Words)

d. I say the Edmonton Blizzard win due to the young hungry speedy players out performing the experience Forge players. The Blizzard have spent years building for this Challenge Cup shot and I don't see them missing their shot. They have a good team who wants to win and have gone through a lot of good teams to get to where they are so I have faith they do it. (69 Words)

Looks like [TEAM] won Season 73! Who won and why? What could the other team have done differently to change the result? What was your favorite part of the series?

The Edmonton Blizzard won the Challenge Cup! They won due to having more speed and skill. The Forge maybe could have tried to play more physical although it was tough to catch the Blizzard players. It was a hard fought battle, and the Forge just could not grind it out. The Blizzard's speed and skill was too much to overcome. My favourite part of the series was seeing the Blizzard passing the Challenge Cup around and celebrating. It was nice to see a new team come into power especially one that has been building up for awhile. There is a good chance they will be back next season and more to come.

a. Two new finalists mark the end of a dynasty in the west and the return of an old heavyweight in the east. Pick either of our finalists, and tell me what about them impresses you the most!
b. The Forge have won a cup with this core, while the Blizzard are sniffing this air for the first time in a while. Who would you rather be - the veteran team that's been here and won it before, or the hungry youngsters taking their first shot at glory?
c. The Blizzard upended a long-time nemesis in the Aurora to get here, while the Forge avenged several previous losses to the Wolfpack as well. Who had the more impressive victory to punch their ticket to the cup final, and why?
d. If it ain't broke don't fix it: Who you got? Who wins? Why?

a.  I have not been here long enough to know of the Forge's legacy only there current status. So with that recency bias i have to go with the Edmonton Blizzard as the one that has impressed me most as they had to get through a very strong Winnipeg Aurora to get to the finals. For all intents and purposes Winnipeg was considered to be a super team.

b. This is a unique case for me as i am someone that will always root for the grizzled veteran's holding on to glory in their waning years, but if i were to be a player i would 100% want to be the new guy coming in to take down an old titan with the Blizzard.

c. The Forge bringing down the Wolfpack was truly an impressive feat but i once again will have to go with the Blizzard here. As stated previously they also faced against another top team and one of their old demons in the super team that is the Aurora. I as well as many others considered Aurora the go to for the cup this season despite the Wolfpack having the better regular season.

d. These 2 teams have been dead even in the standings are both playing some fantastic hockey. It is tough to choose between the 2 of them i would have to once again go with the Blizzard on this one. In terms of the advanced stats both teams put up some crazy offensive numbers but Edmonton regularly has the better defensive numbers leading me to believe that Edmonton will squeak the win out with an extra defensive game in this series.

The Forge and the Patriotes both won cups in recent memory, but while the Patriotes called it a window and tore everything down to the boards, their expansion brothers in Philadelphia have found a way to get back to the dance. How did they do it? Can they keep it up? What should teams like Winnipeg and New England learn from them?

I have not been in the league for many seasons so I can only pull from what I know of the Patriotes and the Forge. From what I remember in my noggin, Montreal had a good team which was mostly based around 4ish players the last few seasons before they tore it down. Namely Mads Mcbride, Grogu Mandosson, Brick Wall and Roderic Banes(sorry if I spelt any of the names wrong). After this group their depth begins to fall off and they very much are the glue of the team. Meanwhile on the Forge they have their core 4 of San-sam Emmerson, Red Kirkby, Ricky Koivu and Graj Virrok. The notable difference for me is that after their core 4, the forge have further depth starting with long standing legend(as far as I am aware) Evil Allbran who has not regressed into obscurity yet and a strong performance from rookie Tony Soprano. These 2 among the rest of their depth in my eyes have provided the core an extra bump to remain competitive where Montreal was not.

Draw the final battle! You can show me the players going head-to-head, you can draw the mascots duking it out, or you can make any kind of hype poster of your choosing. It's the Forge vs the Blizzard, I want to see Fire and Ice! Go!

a. I’ll go with Edmonton, and who impresses me the most is Justin Time. How Justin is reliable and managed to keep amazing stats in the season AND in the playoffs. Justin is 14-4-1 right now, with only 56 goals allowed in 19 games, giving Edmonton a strong foundation on which they managed to build. Time is my vote for MVP in this playoffs, whatever happens in the finals. (72 words)

b. Hard choice, I’ll go with Edmonton, because I love how Edmonton played their cards in the last seasons, and how it managed to pay off. The Blizzard is filled with great members of our community, max earners who have reached their prime. What I love about Philly is that the window is not closing yet. Good players will replace the S62 and older veterans, and I doubt they will lose their momentum in the next few years. (80 words)
