The first time I got a rip at the playoffs was truly a magical experience. It was all a bit of a blur with Carolina, rookie season, deep run, like, 3 years ago. But at the same time the joy of watching the game live in the LR and celebrating in VC after (even tho I was at a party, I remember that much) is a highlight in my career.
The first time I ever experienced the playoffs was when the Montreal Militia went on to win the S49 Four Star Cup. Not a bad way to kick off the career.
First real playoff experience that I remember was the s51 challenge and 4* cup. They were great and not at all controversial at all. What a time to be in the league.
My first playoff experience, the Colorado Raptors went to the SMJHL finals. We lost a heartbreaker to the Detroit Falcons. It was a sad week but we hope to be better this year in the playoffs.
My first playoff appearance was with Anaheim back in the juniors. If I remember well, my first run ended with us dropping early but the following season saw us win the whole thing.
Former Players: Yoshimitsu McCloud (LW, #64) - Won a Four Star Cup once, knew ninjutsu, picture editors hated him, never tried free agency
Anton Harrier (LW, #90) - Won WJC gold, liked skateboarding a lot, went to the finals with Manhattan, kept his seat glued in LR
My first player experienced the playoffs in his first season. Hell he won the cup. I may have had like 30 applied tpe since i joined like two days before trade deadline or whatever. However it was so hype. It made me feel a part of something because when you are on a cup run, everyone is talking and active. Its very nice.
I’m experiencing the playoffs for the first time right now! I suppose it’s possible I made it with my first player in Carolina, but i was never around to see it. Either way, it’s An amazing feeling and I hope we go all the way to the cup!i
Well, I will not be blackmailed by some ineffectual, privileged, effete, soft-penised, debutante. You want to start a street fight with me bring it on but you're gonna be surprised by how ugly it gets, you don't even know my real name-

I can't remember what my first play-offs were like as a user. I can't even remember what season was my first go in the play-offs, I can tell you the one I remember best is Season 22 when my player was Captain on the Manhattan Rage and they won their first Cup. Back then, it was all done in the forum, with one user being given the results to post in a play by play format. Sitting in the forum, while chatting with your teammates in one of the old chat rooms was a great experience, so much so that I remember it close on a decade later. Unfortunately, that kind of experience is one I feel has been kind of lost with the migration to the new engine and discord.

Well, it was the first season in Halifax, everyone made playoffs but the way the format worked was because there were 10 teams, the bottom 4 played preliminary round and only then you got into round 1. We managed to beat Anchorage out of that preliminary to run into Detroit, and lost there, but I remember that our strategy was to talk as much mad shit as we could to them, especially thanks to mr. Troy Reynolds. It never turned into the rivalry we wanted it to be, but it was fun while it lasted.

I know this technically isn't what was asked but I can't really rmember the first playoffs I had because it was with STHS so I'm going to instead talk about the first time I made the playoffs in FHM. I remember being very excited since I had just been traded to the North Stars and we were a very good team. We went on a run and only barely lost in the conference finals to the Stampede. That experience was jey to me taking the league on to the degree I did.
The first time I experienced the playoffs in the SHL it was underwhelming, especially after so many seasons of missing the postseason entirely. In hindsight I think it’s funny how much of an accomplishment just making the playoffs felt like.
The first time I got to experience a postseason was with Newfoundland in the SMJHL. This was memorable because the first two seasons that I was with Newfoundland we did not do so well so being able to make it to the postseason was exciting. Unfortunately the first postseason didn’t go as we planned however, in the second postseason that we made it to we ended up winning the championship.
The first playoffs I had with QCC were honestly fantastic. The entire team cheering for goals, booing for the heartbreak. Detroit made us lose pretty badly, but being with the team when it all happened was the best tbh.
The first time I experienced playoffs was the start of the Zerks 3peat. It was fun as the locker room got hype after every game and winning a cup in my first ever season was fun
