Option 2
As the Timber work their way through round one of playoffs against the St. Lous Scarecrows, Mia Lavoie is working hard to carry on or improve on her successes from the regular season. She finished off the year as the league points leader, putting up 53 goals and 60 assists. Her linemates, Edouard Lavoie and JJ Frankie JJ, came close from behind with 113 points and 85 points respectively. Knowing that playoffs are a different beast entirely, this squad is working to ratchet up their efforts and give it their all to help Maine to success. Just two games into the series so far, Edouard has 2 points while Mia and JJ have each contributed 1. With a little luck and a lot of hard work, the line will warm up and really get jamming in the groove of the post-season, pushing up those point totals and hopefully pushing the Timber one step closer to another championship title.
thank you amid, swoosh and eni for sigs! <3
WRITTEN OPTION 1
It's just pure luck. It's similar to gambling. Chances are low to win so much in a row, but it's still happening. Same here - hard to not get injured, but as we see - no one does. But if we are throwing sarcasm away and if we are talking for real, it's all because SMJHL. Players are putting in so much work being so young that their stamina and durability is as high as it can get. 66 games as juniors isn't that easy and it helps a lot with getting much better in that aspect. However, it's a freaking simulation as well though, lol. It's literally in the name of our league. It's a simulation platform. Simple as that, right? Easier answer would be that our simulation tool has injuries turned off. I will probably be one of the most non-original guys here or the one who tries to ruin fun, but it is what it is.

The league is able to use the best in medicine and training to create an environment that rarely if every results in injury. Everyone in the league has their own trainer and team of doctors. Due to top secret FDA unauthorized techniques the SHL league players are able to stay in shape. The limited injuries that do occur are minor enough to be played through and any really bad injuries are healed up quickly thanks to the locker room doctors and the SHL patented healing bench technology. All of this tech is possible due to the fact the SHL is a simulation that blurs real life and virtual reality. The league is called Simulation Hockey League after all. Is real life even real? What is the meaning of life?
We may or not be a punc h of DND role playing hockey nerds...........

Hockey fan for life. I pack the heat and score the goals!
Well, it's playoff time again, and Justin Time is no stranger to the pressure that comes with it. There's a slight change, though, as Time will be suiting up for the San Francisco Pride instead of the Edmonton Blizzard, who have missed the playoffs in the season after his departure, and for the first time since the season before Time's rookie debut. After being traded to the Pride, Time brought his winning ways with him, continuing the league's longest 40 win season streak and leading the Pride to a Pacific division title. Individually, though, the season was a bit of a disappointment for the goaltender, who posted his lowest save percentage in six seasons. Moving into the playoffs, he'll be looking to regain his lost S73 championship form. With a new, younger team around him, he'll need to bring some veteran experience to the roster and prepare his team for the challenges ahead, including the bitter division rivals that knocked out both the Pride and the Blizzard last season.

A simulation? You mean to tell me this totally real thing is not actually real? I guess that makes sense. We were going through a lot of seasons in a relatively short time. Lifetimes worth of action in just a few years. I guess it makes sense that no one got injured in that time then. Though honestly, can you imagine sim leagues with injuries? I feel like one of the casual leagues could pull it off maybe. I think it would be fun. But in something like the SHL, it just doesn't have a place I think. There is also some fun in never having injuries. Like the post said, what about robots or drugs being used to avoid injruies. But really we know it's because it's a simulation and that's alright. The role playing is still fun regardless. And if we never have to worry about it, then that just makes it easier to breathe.

Honestly, I have no clue how after years worth of seasons, nobody has gotten injured. It seems too suspicious... there can be only be one way. And that's robots. Think about it, how else can we have animals playing hockey at a high level other than that? I'm all for Air Bud, but it seems improbable. As for if the robots broke? That's what line changes are for. I don't believe stamina exists, it's just a scam to allow the robots to get repaired in game to go back out and play more. There is one human element about this though, the Goalies. The goalies just have godlike durability and are allowed to play in this high paced league with literal metal against them. It also explains how some of them improve, as they just adjust to the programming of the robots over time, instead of actually becoming better. (Or maybe this is all a conspiracy theory)

It is quite impressive that there has never been an injury in the SHL. The SHL is indeed the only sport league probably in all of the world that has achieved such an incredible feat. There is little doubt that all the other leagues are dying to figure it out. Just ask the NFL, they keep on changing their rules to try to lessen injuries and the quality of play falls with that. They should just adopt the SHL method. Eli Manning is every player in the SHL.
The SHL has a very unique feature. There are no human bodies playing the game! All the sport is played by a bunch of moving dots. The dots may smash into each other at high speed, but nothing can break. A dot may make a bad turn, but nothing can tear. The fragility of the human body is the issue in both leagues. Dots are just far more durable.

One thing that Scar Bealey prides himself on is being clutch when it matters most. Throughout his career in house leagues, travel leagues, and juniors (before the SMJHL that is), he always got “up” for the big games. Games against rival teams, games against the top teams in the league, and more importantly, playoff games. Last year in the playoffs against Maine, Scar finished with 0 points and was a -9 as the Timber swept the Scarecrows. Scar vowed that would never happen again in his lifetime. He got a rematch with the Timber in this year’s playoffs, and while Maine leads St. Louis 3-1 in the series (as of press time), Maine had to win 2 games in OT and this series could be 3-1 in the Crows’ favor. And how is Scar doing? Well, he took it personally. Scar has 9 points in the 4 games so far, leading the Scarecrows (and the SMJHL) in playoff points. Using past failures was a big thing he used to fuel himself to break out in this postseason, and his desire to be the best really brought out a new level in him as he does everything he can to (hopefully) get the Scarecrows into the next level of the playoffs. It is apparent that both the SHL and the SMJHL are up to something. No other sports league can boast the health levels that are experienced here. This is not the case though. If you looks closely, each and every team experiences a full range of issues regarding their players health. Each team just has a different way of combating these health issues.
For the Anchorage Armada as an example, they utilize many tools to keep their team healthy during the full range of each season. One of these tools is the daily cold plunge into the Northern Pacific Ocean implemented into the teams training schedule. These dips into the cold, sometimes even icy water keep muscles in top shape and expedite recovery after hard training sessions, practices, and games.
While these cold plunges have a monumental impact on the players physical health, they sometimes question whether it’s the best option for their mental health…

Written Option 2: Playoffs are here and it is time to put in the next gear. Do you think your player can up their game to next level and how do they do it? If they were already playing their best hockey during the regular season, how do they ensure they can keep up the level of play through all of the playoffs?
Oskar Scholz is coming off his best regular season to date with career highs in goals, assists and points. In fact he finished the season with more points than anyone not named Victor Hargreeves, his teammate and linemate. It will be difficult for him to find a higher gear in an already very impressive season, but if there was a time to do so now would be it. San Francisco is coming off one of, if not it's best, regular seasons ever and is the top seed in the western conference. While no means a unanimous favourite, expectations are higher than ever since they're not the underdog in any given matchup. Fortunately, in each of his previous post-season runs Oskar Scholz has shown he can be a big difference maker and rise to the occasion, scoring well over a point per game pace in each of the previous playoff appearances to date.

It’s a mystery in all of these leagues, how they play so hard and do so much and yet there’s never a single injury. How do all of these leagues do it? What is the SHL doing to ensure that its players aren’t getting injured? Or are they covering it up? We sent in a little robot bug that flies around with a camera and microphone on it to take a look into the commissioners office.
Allegedly, the SHL has a very good benefits program that covers up to 100% for dental and health, including medication and procedures. The SHL really looks after its players. However, it also provides them with certain medication’s as opposed to what a doctor would normally regulate and give to people. It’s these new kinds of medications that are currently currently not on the market and are being trialled. Despite this, they seem incredibly effective.
Furthermore, while the league is on par with paying its players like many other leagues throughout the sim universe, One of the reasons is because VHL makes it mandatory for the players to buy a certain level of equipment. It can be seen in the equipment store and is bought by the players each season. Does this make sense that the players less because they have available equipment to buy with a certain standard? We have no clue.

The real mystic ability behind everyone being able to stay healthy in the SHL is the fact that its all a simulation! None of it is real! You can make up and think of all the crazy things you want but the reality is that the Matrix was right all along! The SHL exists in a world completely controlled by machines! Now the real question is who is behind it all!? Will we get some sort or reveal at the then that a lead machine called OOTP is behind it all? Who really knows! But even though this is a simulation people should still be able to be hurt and injured, this is where the doctors come in. They are able to trick the brains of these people to believe they can never be hurt and allows them to play at 100% every game in the entire league for their entire career. Rumor is this is true to the other sim leagues out there as well.

I believe that I heard that the way the SHL stops injuries is that they turned off injuries in Franchise Hockey Manager 9, so players can't get injured. Oh, you meant inside the sim. Well inside the sim, in order for the code to simulate players that can't get injured, each player is given the "steel" skin attribute, which, as the name implies, means that each player's skin is made of steel. Normally this would slow a player down, except they also added a world attribute of "steel is lighter than feathers", which reverses the space time that we all know of a kilogram of steel being heavier than a kilogram of feathers. Some people have suggested that the team should then have no reason for doctors, and yet they do have them. This could mean that the doctors are involved in the secret underground money laundering scheme of the SHL, although nothing has been proven yet.
