It's crazy how fast the seasons move these day, we aren't even at the deadline for this PT yet and a bunch of the series in the second round might already be over. So my hot take isn't exactly gonna be a super hot take, but I predict that Philly will be unstoppable and even steamroll a good SFP squad that is currently looking strong.

Buffalo ''Stampede'' will once again come in to ''play-offs'' as a mid tier team, but somehow get to the Finals. Won't say that they will win it all, but the Finals are a possible outcome.

I think my hot take is that the playoffs were really good this year and I hope every year is like this moving forward , but with Hamilton winning it all

my hot take is that a team will be disqualified for mishandling lines or something akin to that, resulting in the St. Louis Scarecrows coming back into the SMJHL playoffs and winning the whole thing! Back from the dead they will say.

I am really not sure why we are even continuing with playoffs when Betzee is not in it.
League should have gone on offseason as soon as it was clear that Manhattan was going to be done for the season because only one person deserves to win and it’s me. Kelowna wins the SMJHL, Atlanta takes the SHL in a 7 game upset of San Francisco. Ive seen some crazy things happen in my time here so why the hell not!

Hot take for these playoffs are that anything could end up happening. It will be interesting to see which teams take the lead early in the series.

my hot take for this season's playoff is that the forge will get swept in the conference finals, maybe I'm just salty about losing to them in the 1st round. there's always next season

I don’t have any hot takes now really, since we’re already to the conference finals. Anything I had would now be a cold take. I had NEW over BUF and MIN over NOLA, which I think weren’t selected that much in peoples brackets?

It's probably not that hot of a take but I think that Texas is due for a deep run. They've got a great team has bounced up against a lot of bad luck in the first couple of rounds. If a couple of things go their way this season I expect to see them go far.
