Every time I have hit free agency in a league where I do not know the majority of the GMs, I tend to regret it. I'm hoping to never experience that here.

I'd only leave WPG if their window was completely closed and I hadn't won one yet. Maybe when my current deal expires? We'll see how things come together.

I like my team. I don't think I'd seek to leave via free agency BUT I will say, the chance to have more playing time as a goalie would make me consider it.

I don't have much time left in these old bones but if someone was willing to pay me two or even three billion dollars I would strongly consider leaving my team. Cool

Team Performance and Ambitions: If a team with a strong track record and ambitious plans showed interest, it could be tempting. The chance to compete for championships or be part of a well-run organization might be a major draw.
Role and Playing Time: If another team offered a more prominent role or more playing time, it could be a significant factor. Players often want to be in a position where they can make a bigger impact and grow their skills.
Team Chemistry and Culture: A good fit with a team's culture and existing roster can be crucial. A positive environment and strong team dynamics can make a big difference in a player's experience and performance.
Financial Incentives: While less crucial in simulations, in a real-world scenario, contract terms and financial considerations might play a role in the decision-making process.
Personal Goals and Challenges: Sometimes, a new challenge or a fresh start can be appealing. If a new team offered an opportunity to explore new strategies or play in a different style that aligns with personal goals, it could be enticing.

Ultimately, if I found that staying with my current team offered the best combination of performance, role, culture, and growth opportunities, I’d likely be inclined to stay put. Stability and familiarity have their own advantages, and it might be worth continuing to build on existing relationships and successes.

Nice try, SHL GMs. Using a PT to get potential free agent defectors to out themselves? You think I am going to fall for that? I would never leave my beloved Seattle Argonauts fans and teammates anyway and it has nothing to do with the duct tape wrapped around my ankles and wrists right now.

I have played the FA market in the past and won big! I scored a 18mil contract if I recall correctly. But I also have had a hard time finding the right team who could either afford me or I would gel with. I am open to FA but cautious of it now.

I would never want to do free agency because it would be very stressful and not fun for anyone involved. Letting people down sounds really bad, so I would never want to do that. So, never free agency for me.

I'll never be a free agent probably unless I was just cut. To be honest I have no desire to like try and play for certain teams I just like to vibe and I enjoy being a role player for a team. plus it scares me

I think record seeking is probably the only reason I would ever switch teams in free agency honestly, maybe like a better role. I guess thats about it though.

It's a bit hard for me to say since I've only ever played for Atlanta in the SHL, and their LR is so great I can't see myself ever wanting to swap teams.
