Viktor absolutely does fucking not play pranks on his teammates. The mere idea of it would mortify him, and nothing short of a very, very significant donation to QCC's local animal shelter would have him even remotely consider pulling one. Let me emphasize the word consider, because it would take millions upon millions donated for him to be willing to follow through on one. As for being the target of pranks? Absolutely, and especially if you count what would amount to straight up bullying, because he got plenty of that as a kid. I would like to think that Viktor has earned too much respect and love from his SFP teammates for them to terrorize him with pranks, but hockey players will be hockey players. All it would really take to 'gotcha' Vik is hiding behind a corner, but if someone really wants to mess with him they could don a mascot costume and chase him up and down the arena stairs.
While Deth Klaw does enjoy pranks on some level, its not really fair to pull pranks on your teammates when you are a giant, carnivorous beast with long, sharp, deadly claws. I'm afraid that someone would end up injured or mentally scarred for life. Also, Deth isn't too big on having pranks played on him, and its not really fair to be the person who pranks everyone but can't take a joke themselves. No one likes that guy, and Deth would rather his teammates think pleasant, or at least neutral thoughts when they think of him. That said, if he sees one coming, he tries to be a good sport about it, again, to help avoid the physical and mental trauma and scarring that could possibly ensue when a death machine is pranked and takes it badly. Also, its important that even a prankster realizes when its time to stop or let up at least, lest they end up tied up with a dirty jock strap wrapped around their face!
I wanna start this by saying I have no doubt that every team in the league plays pranks on teammates, coaches, trainers, etc. Singling just my player out makes no sense but does he prank? Oh absolutely but so does his father who is now the GM of the Stampede. I think the easiest prank is one that is simple and gets everyone at either the same time or one at a time. I think the best prank out there other than what J.R. did to members of the Sharks is the old "X in the cooler" prank that the Flyers played in the early 2010s. As in you lift the lid of a cooler and a snake or something rises up with it to scare the holy hell out of whoever lifts the lid. My player fell for it just like all of his teammates, many laughs were had and no one got hurt.
Nice try SHL Head Office, but you can’t trick Jussi Mutou into revealing the details of his ice crimes! He would never stoop so low as to try and gain an unfair advantage over his opponents.
But if he did, this is how he would do it. He would start by putting honey and ants in players equipment. Anything he could get his hands on. If the feeling of a sticky jock strap isn’t enough to throw a player off, literal ants in their pants should do the trick.
Next, he would loosen all their skate blades, making them more prone to coming off so that they fall during play and have to go back to the bench.
The next trick in the Jussi Mutou playbook is to partially saw certain points of opponents hockey sticks, ensuring that when they go for a heavy shot, the stick breaks much easier!
But it’s a good thing that Jussi Mutou is a good boy who would never try and bend the rules.
Since arriving in the SHL, Langston has been looking for any advantage he can get on the ice and this includes maybe a few extra slashes here or there or a little bit of fun after the whistle.
One of his favorite techniques is to grip down from the butt on the stick just ever so slightly to expose a little bit of lumber and then jam that right into the side of whoever he is next to. He first heard about this technique from a family member who was taught it by Stan Mikita. With the Aurora struggling and looking to be in a retool for the majority of Langston’s young career, Langston wants to make sure that no one comes into Winnipeg expecting an easy or bloodless win. As a recently named alternate captain, LHL needs to know when to act on these attacks though as he needs to have a little bit of decorum in front of the rest of the team while also sending a message to the rest of the league.
My player absolutely does not do any fraudulent tricks to gain advantages during the game. The league can minimize stuff like this by promoting a culture of fair sportsmanship and heavily frowning upon the use of unsavory tactics for the sake of winning. If it seems like it's okay to do anything it takes to win then more and more players will feel like they have no option but to participate in the acts themselves, but if the default behaviour for the majority of players in the league is to not gain these slight advantages, then someone doing them will seem out of place and looked down upon. Even though the presence of tricks is only visible on the ice, the real prevention of them starts in the LR and fostering a culture where teammates are never encouraged to play dirty. The heart of a good competition is always strongest when the players all perform according to the same set of safe and respectable standards where the eventual winner outperformed the other teams fairly, not by taking ever single possible advantage at the cost of morals.
Basically after team meetings, Hannah would go into the locker room and find a random teammate to prank. She then goes up to their locker and swaps his/her gear with Hannah's! Then, when it's gameday, the player that got pranked, which the last player she pranked was Jacob Marsh, was surprised to see his gear and pregame accessories being swapped by Hannah's. Then Hannah hid to see his shocked reaction. In rare occasions she'll take photos of the player's reactions and submit them to the team yearbook, which is handed out to every player a few weeks after the season ends (after the Four-Star Cup). Finally, Hannah pops out of nowhere to tell him he got pranked. She's been trying to cut down on this now, because of her hot start to the season.
My player loves using tricks to get any advantage he can during play. He is Nostradamus after all. He loves to predict where players will be to gain advantages on both the defensive and offensive side of the puck, but as for normal hockey tricks, untying player's skates. Every scrum, net front battle, and stoppage of play, Nostradamus can be seen bent down like prime JR Smith, or wedging the blade of his stick between players laces. It's the oldest trick in the book, yet he still manages to get away with it every time. And to top it off, Nostradamus tapes his laces so that other players don't get the same idea, and has shared his tactics with the rest of his team. Our laces will be forever tied, while players on every other team stumble and fall back to their bench, resulting in so many odd-man rushes in our favor.

Ben Jammin doesn't play pranks himself on teammates, but his teammates love to prank Ben Jammin since he is such an easy victim and has the best reactions to them. Some pranks Ben's teammates have done to him in the past were hide his headphones in the most absurd locations in the arena. Ben can always be seen rocking his headphones when heading into the arena for practice and on gamedays. One time when Ben was using the washroom, some teammates in Winnipeg stole his headphones he left in the dressing room and hid them up in the ceiling. Ben had no idea where or how he misplaced his headphone and was asking every person he came across if they saw his headphones and if someone stole them. After seeing Ben flustered and defeated the pranksters let him in on the joke and showed him where his headphones were. However, Ben would have to be the one to get them down from the ceiling. He grabbed a nearby ladder and was able to safely retrieve his beloved headphones.
