Kaarlo Koivunen
Option 2: Kaarlo Koivunen is fine with some tricks but not fine with some others. The tricks hes mainly OK with are the once what don't really hurt anyone (like more then a hit would) and wouldn't put the player itself in more danger then already the sitautation could be. but if it doesn't hurt somone else more or themselvs. but also if it breaks the rules of hockey kaarlo koivuenn would also obviosuly not like them since kaarlo is a player who likes to follow the rules and trying not to bend them to avoid usless penalties and he just likes to play clean hockey nothing dirty what sometimes people play. also to a league to minimize those tricks what kaarlo doesn't like could be to make them against rules and give them 2/5 minute penalties depending on the trick so that would make them less used thus minimizing the tricks from happening in games

Mac Turner
Tricks, huh, really? Mac Turner of the Toronto North Stars isnt really know for the crazy dangle or for dekeing out opponents with his speed. Mac is more of a put the pressure on them kinda guy. Mac Turner is more for the physical side of the game, so fancy tricks arent really up his sleeve (Though Mac Turner is a certified Magician and does o the weekends go to Birthday parties). I guess the tricks Mac does have in terms of the game of hockey is more straightforward, I mean... can you call 'Big Hit' a trick? I don't know. Mac isnt really that dirty of a player either, so far this season he only has 16 penality minutes and no fights. You most likley wont find Mac doing dirty hits after the play is dead and the referee has blown their whistle. So to summarize, Tricks no, but phyiscal hockey player yes.

S72 Brandon Holmes - Top Defensive Forward(SMJHL)
S73 All-Defensive Team (SMJHL)
Jarrod Lakemore takes his job very seriously, perhaps too seriously, and would never participate in pranks in the locker room. His teammates took notice of his stoic demeanor early on in his career and that caused him to be victim of various pranks throughout his career in attempt to get him to "lighten up". As a rookie, he'd try to pretend it didn't bother him and laugh it off when he'd come back to shaving cream in his locker or even more elaborate pranks like when management and coaches got into it too and pretended he was being sent back to the minors. Now though, as a veteran player, it is almost like a rite of passage as his teammates get the rookies to try to pull a prank on him. Lakemore has a new way of playing along with it, where he really lets his emotions show, going over the top with anger and rage at the rookies, getting them back in a way but also reminding them that he is an all-business type of guy and not to mess around with him. Olīvija Agate
Olivija Agate beats players by using tricks, there’s just no way around it. She is undersized, underweighted, and many steps below the greats in terms of raw skills and experience. Does she dominate all the time? Not at all. But the wins she does get are when she uses her head. She practices crafty edgework, her body leading one way, and her stick leading another. She routinely uses the boards as a passing partner to escape big checks. She uses her shorter stature to slip under checks, and to goad penalties. She sneaks into players’ blind spots to pickpocket them. She knows where to put herself to make it the most likely someone will commit an infraction against her, without hurting herself. So she isn’t your classic pest by any means, but she knows how to gain the advantage even when she can’t skate, shoot, check, or endure as well as the veterans. But in time, she’ll use those tricks paired with veteran talents, to dominate.
Prompt 2
Alaska IIHF Federation Head
Not a Commissioner. Shh!
I think there is always room for little shots behind the play and little digs into the back in the corners. This is not to say that Dominik is a dirty player, he’s not turning around and two handing a guy in the back of the knee or slew foots and things like that. What he is really doing is giving a small cross check to the lower back or a little slash to the top of the foot when battling in the corners. It’s not going out to hurt a guy, but it’s 100% trying to make them uncomfortable and not at all happy to be part of the battles. There are other things like face washes and things that I’m not sure truly count as “dirty” but they’re still not something that the average person wants to be done to them. So yeah, not a dirty player but a guy who knows how to toe the line.

Written Option 2:
Easton doesn't usually resort to dirty tricks on the ice, since he's a sophomore, just learning the tricks of the trade as he goes. He has seen some dirty play behind the play and after the whistle, and he has been taking some notes. Anything from the complementary cross-check behind someone's back, to a quick stick jab around the area that should not be touched, he notices.
While he does find it somewhat unprofessional and kind of barbaric, he gets it. It occurs for the mere reason to let the other team and players that they are there and are not to be pushed around. While it goes both ways, and Easton does benefit from these situations in power plays, he has begun to use these tricks. Last season, he did get a lot of penalty minutes, but this season, his combativeness has greatly improved and he has stayed out of the sin bin more often than not.

Prompt 2:
While Furious Chicken might hope for these tricks to not be allowed anymore, is there really a way to fully stop them from happening, as you need to find a nice balance between how much the time is stopped to look at potential dirty plays, and actual time the match gets played. As I think the only way to really stop this is to get some sort of video referee that can overrule the actual referee, but this would require another referee which I do not think is a thing in ice hockey (but I might be wrong in this one, as I am not sure). But as long as it remains advantageous it is quite logical for players to try and use these dirty tricks to their advantage, they are paid to win after all, and if the dirty little tricks did not help with winning, they obviously would not be used by so many players.

Niclas Sundqvist
Written option 2:
Niclas Sundqvist plays on the edge. Surprisingly enough though, this season's PIM on him does not reflect how much he usually suffers. Perhaps the refs in general are more lenient or his aggression has been lowering slowly. Dirty hits and a glove to the face is not just about personality and his own playing style but part of the grand plan in how to get the opponents of balance. Anything to anger the opposing team and getting them to focus on the wrong things is the best plan! The fact that embellishment is suggested first means that I must declare that Sundqvist hates embellishment with a passion. Any player to embellish is forever a player who Sundqvist has zero respect for and will aim to hit them extra hard to make sure that they feel the disrespect they have for the game. The main focus from Niclas is however to talk, talk and talk. If the opponents get angry and focus on talking instead of playing, he knows he's won.

Valtteri Pulkkinen
Written Option 2
Valtteri loves to do all kind of small things to gain advantages for his team. For example he makes sure that the referee sees that he got fouled by over exaggerating everytime. And if the referee still misses it he will make sure that the referee missed it by going at him. Another trick that Valtteri learned when he was young was to do those sneaky fouls when the referee is not looking. wether it is sneaky elbow or some cross check he knows when to do those to gain the psychological edge over the other team. Talking about psychological advantage Valtteri is known to have big mouth on ice. He isn't the guy talks the most off ice but when he comes to ice it is like that his personality changes completely. He looks during the game from the other team the guys who will get heated easily then try to focus on them by sending some verbal jabs.
WRITTEN OPTION 1
Aumy Junior II is all about the hockey. He is always in his zone, trying to not do anything which could impact his game. Toronto "North Stars" is kind of a new squad. Aumy Junior II has only his fifth season now, but he is almost like a veteran on this team. There are many new rookies who loves to pull pranks though. They always love to do something childish and weird. However, Aumy Junior II once got them all back. "North Stars" had a training for rookies only. Aumy Junior II stole all of the pucks and coaches thought that rookies didn't get fully ready for that workout. So, it ended up with strength training afterwards the training on the ice. Since that, Toronto doesn't fool around anymore. Rookies now that they can get in the trouble because of it, so they doesn't even try anything stupid anymore. Main goal is to win championship and all focus is on that.

When it comes to pranks, Johnny Patey V2 does not really indulge himself in these activities. He does not really indulge himself into these activities because he does not spend much time in the locker room pre and post game, because he only stays around for the mandated time given by his coach, which is probably why his offensive struggles are happening this season. Patey V2 was once a 1st liner but has dropped down to the second as of recent, which has been part of his struggles in his locker room because he real ly has not connected with many of the team members. As for being a target, he has managed to avoid that as well, as staying out of the limelight in the locker room keeps him out of the thoughts of those who are pulling the pranks. As for those who get pranked, Patey V2 still has a good laugh at the expense of others, but keeps it to himself as much as possible, because as I said before, when you make yourself known, you become a future target.
