Ive done this but with SHL teams, now it is time to do SMJHL (I may keep the same name if i dont think of a name)

Armada

Anchorage Armada ---> Alaska IceCaps
2 things that make sense, Alaska and ice, boom the IceCaps but the Armada is a cool name but IceCaps Sounds better

Kraken

Carolina Kraken ---> Carolina Octopi
Same thing but less scary (like the team this season) and besides the Kraken is mostly in the Iceland and Scandinavia not CAROLINA

Raptors

Colorado Raptors ---> Colorado Rockies
Yes I know this is a MLB team, but bring back the name to hockey!!!!

Falcons

Detroit Falcons ---> Detroit Motors
Detroit is where GM is and it makes sense for the flacons to rebrand to the motors

Great Falls Grizzlies ---> NO CHANGE
The grizzlies play in Montana, and Montana is where Yellowstone is, but the logo is just a little bit too realistic.

Knights

Kelowna Knights ---> Kelowna Hikers
I did not know what Kelowna was known for, but apparently it is Nature (thanks google :D)

Timber

Maine Timber ---> NO CHANGE
Maine is known for nature so the timber name is fitting, But the name/logo is saying "We Love Deforestation cutting wood down for bonfires"

Nevada Battleborn ---> Nevada Camels
Nevada is a dessert, Camels live in desserts.

Newfoundland Berserkers ---> NO CHANGE
Idk what to say except this is so far 2 names that are from myths.

Ottawa Highlanders ---> Ottawa Lumberjacks
The logo looks like a lumberjack, that is all

Citadelles

QCC --> Quebec Nordiques
Wither bring back the nhl team, or bring it to the SHL.

Tidal

San Diego Tidal ---> NO CHANGE
the logo, the name, perfect

St. Louis Scarecrows ---> St. Louis Arches
The Gateway Arch

Walleye

Thunder Bay Walleye ---> NO CHANGE
idk what they would change it too

Whalers

Vancouver Whalers ---> Vancouver Skiers
Idk why, but canada gets snow, snow means skiing

Yukon Malamutes ---> NO CHANGE
of im gonna be fr, I forgot the Malamutes existed so therefore, I wont change the name.
