shadow +3 TPE 6. How was the season for you player? What you expect from next one? It was a rough season for Fenix. He still finished top of his team in points, but he was unsatisfied with how it went. For starters, he scored only 66 points in 66 games, whereas Season 77, he scored 76 points. Shadow Fenix was really hoping to take a step forward, and while the team as a whole did end up making playoffs, they were then eliminated in just four games. Fenix expects more from himself, and he wants to be a driving force for the Seattle Argonauts. On the defensive side, he actually improved slightly. His defensive game rating was 72 versus 70 the previous season. And his faceoff percentage increased to 55.9% from 53.8%. However, his -27 plus/minus still leaves very much to be desired. So Fenix has been working hard in the gym to improve his physical capabilities, in hopes that this will allow him to play better defensively. During this next season, Fenix is planning on improving his hockey IQ. Hopefully this will allow him to take that next step to improve his game that he hasn't been able to do just yet. When that happens, instead of his point totals going down, they will actually end up going to the moon. 207 words +4 TPE 10. Written, 50 to 200+ words. Took Me By Surprise The Chicago Syndicate's drop off was much faster than anticipated. I knew going into the season that a lot of their players were regressing, but they still had a solid roster and a couple talented forwards I thought would be able to keep them together. It really does just seem like defensively they completely fell apart, and it's pretty tough to see. 62 words +1 TPE --- Total +8 TPE

6. How was the season for you player? What you expect from next one? (240 words = +4) This season for Blade Hunter was just okay, to be honest. It wasn’t as great as last season because the numbers just didn’t hit as high. It kinda felt like I took a step back, you know? Like, I was expecting to be more of a standout, but it didn’t really happen that way. Blade’s always been a hard worker, and he was putting in the effort, but sometimes it just doesn’t translate on the stat sheet the way you want it to. It was frustrating at times, not being able to hit the same level, but Blade isn’t one to dwell on it too much. That being said, it’s good to see that he’s still contributing in the playoffs. He’s not exactly leading the charge or anything, but at least he’s doing his part to help the team. There’s something to be said for that, and it keeps Blade motivated. He knows he’s got more to give, and he’s not gonna let a so-so season stop him from pushing for more. Looking ahead to next season, Blade’s expecting to bounce back. He’s learned a lot from this year and knows where he needs to improve. The goal is to get back to where he was before, maybe even push further. He’s got his eyes on becoming a bigger impact player, and with the offseason training coming up, he’s gonna make sure he’s ready to go harder next time around. 7. This time for J: Who you got? Who wins the Four Star Cup? Why? (145 words = +1) I got the Kelowna Knights for the Four Star Cup win, and it’s not just ‘cause Blade Hunter’s on the team. Honestly, this team is on fire right now, and it’s hard to bet against them. A huge part of it comes down to what Pyro has been doing with tactics. The guy’s got the team playing at a whole other level, and you can see it in how smooth things have been going on the ice. Everything just clicks. Plus, the Knights are flying into the finals with nothing to lose, which makes them dangerous. When you got that mix of solid tactics, skill, and a carefree attitude, it’s hard to stop a team like that. We're in a zone where we've already proven ourselves, so now it’s just about finishing the job. We think we’ve got what it takes to lift that cup. = 8 TPE

The Path If this were real life, Tampa Bay would definitely have an advantage of being more rested with a longer break. Unfortunately though, the way FHM works out is that both teams, if I recall correctly, have a full on week or so break before the finals start on the schedule. This is actually, WORSE in my opinion for Tampa Bay due to the "rust" mechanic that the game includes. Now granted, it isn't a full thirty days of play that they are missing, however their players are going a longer time without actually playing in a game compared to Los Angeles. This could be detrimental, especially in Game 1 as they will have to "shake the rust off" so to speak. That is also assuming that that mechanic is treated the same in post-season play as it is during regular season play. I personally am looking forward to these finals. Having been part of the Season 65 Tampa team who went to the finals against LA previously (Chomp Chomp waterdogs!!!!), it would be nice to see some retribution return, and the streak ended for the flamboyant Miami Vice entrusted fantasy team. Code: When things stay the same for too long there is risk of them becoming stale, so to ensure that doesn’t happen we need to add something or to something and as you were just elected as dictator of SHL you get to make the pick. Are we going to have more games? Maybe add few teams or 4th lines to current ones? Could even add more stats to spend our TPE by not standardazing the mental stats? What or to what would you add and why?

So in the end the Los Angeles Panthers came out on top and beat the Tampa Bay Barracuda to win the Season 78 Challenge Cup. I would say that they won because they ended up scoring more goals than Tampa Bay in four of the games in the series! But to be honest I think a big reason for their victory this season is that the Panthers have a very strong group of people in the locker room that stayed engaged and excited throughout the season (ya I can still see in there) and I think that propelled them to the cup victory this season. When you have a strong group like that then it is easy to keep the players earning TPE and then the team success flows from there. I think my favorite part was just seeing the Panthers players be pretty excited in the locker room, especially Enigmatic who had a decent personal cup drought that got extinguished. 161 words = 3 TPE

CW trivia +3 TPE confirmation word: timber 7. This time for J: Who you got? Who wins the Four Star Cup? Why? Psh I think you know who I'm gonna pick for this. As I write this piece, the Maine Timber sit 3-1 over the Kelowna Knights in the SJMHL finals. After being robbed last season, the Timber came back with a vengeance, again posting the best record in the J with an insane +144 goal differential, with the closest team behind them by 73 points. As part of the Timber's defensive juggernaut, Deth Klaw has been a force this season and yearns to add a J ship to their pedigree. They've rolled though the J playoffs and now they're inevitably here competing for the whole thing. Hopefully the team can seal the deal with a final game at home to prove that they belong at the top! (126 words, +2 TPE) +8 tpe total Sig credits: OrbitingDeath & enigmatic

8. Of course having played less games will give a big advantage to the Tampa Bay Barracuda, with their players being more rested, and possibly more confident from the relatively easy way to the finals. But there is a chance of them maybe being a bit overconfident while a Los Angeles Panthers who have had to crawl through a pinhole to win each series will have a big fighting spirit despite maybe being a bit more tired. On top of this there is a big question mark to why the Tampa Bay Barracuda had such an easy time, is it because they are so much better than their opponents, or did they just have the weaker opponents compared to the Los Angeles Panthers who had to go to 7 games for 2 series by now. In the end all of these questions can only be answered come the actual championship series, which will for sure be a fun one to watch. 160 words - 3 TPE 13. I mean for me there was one big favorite option, which was the Netherlands, but that is purely because I am from the Netherlands which might not be the best reason to add a nation to the IIHF. Maybe there might be some possibility of combination teams now Quebec got accepted, which might give somewhat smaller nations a bigger shot at being actually good without being heavily reliant on players from outside the nations wanting to join. I mean when advocating about regions I would of course be drawn to the Benelux region, even though this might not be that big of an increase compared to just The Netherlands, and would remain to be a small nation in the IIHF, and in the end nation activity is probably (one of) the most important parts of becoming an IIHF nation, as the more active a nation is the more people they can convince to join them. 155 words - 3 TPE Total: 7.5-8 TPE

13.
Yeah that was kind of crazy seeing IIHF Fed Independent Russia getting replaced by a new fed Quebec which in real life is in the mythical country Canada? Weird but... I love it. For multiple reasons really. First let me just commend IIHF HO, I have the pleasure of knowing a few of them and they are super helpful, and super hardworking. Let me also commend them for this descison to make Quebec an offical fed head. This is the right choice for several reasons, one being: Look how much attention this gave IIF some spotlight for the first time in a while, international hockey is often looked over on the site so im glad it is getting some attention. Secondly it is the right move because the fed Head is a great user and will create a thriving federation. Getting back to the prompt, the next federation I'd like to see is... Team Moon. I would 100% join it right away, straight off the bat. How cool would team Moon be??! It would literally be out of this world, though IIHF would have to change the international in their name to galacticic, but hey that would be even cooler, I know I would love it. 208 Words: +4 TPE 11. Honeslty, the league owners and commishes have done a fantastic job with the league, everyone is so welcoming and frankly I think the league is thriving. But if I was made the SHL Czar, Commishoner in Chief, I dont know what I would change. Of course I would change a few things maybe clarify a few rules, but I dont have anything exact in mind to chnage. One thing I would explore would be adding more parity to the league and what I mean is for the last season-decades it feels 1 team has really just dominated in both the SHL and SMJHL, Im talking about the New England Wolfpack, and the Maine Timber, they have just done so well that I think it may be time to do something to add some more parity. Now the thing is... I dont know what, I dont know how we would be able to do this but we should Hundren Percent explore on how to add Parity to this already awesome league. 170 Words: +3 TPE CW Trivia: +1.5 for Particpation verifcication word: tpeplsssssssssssssssssss Ty to Eni's Sig Shop ty to ragnar

Los Angeles has 3 other players that are also above or tied in points with Tampa’s Max Carnage. Does Los Angeles have advantage on scoring or does it just seem like it as they have also played 3 more games? 123 Words +2 TPE Easy to say that Los Angeles Panthers have the advantage in the scoring department, But i really don't think they do even though "on paper" tells a different story. But what do i know i dropped Derek Martin in favor of Max Carnage in fantasy this season (which worked out) max has been a one man wrecking crew and i 100 Percent expect that to continue as Tampa Bay looks to win their 1st Challenge Cup Championship in a very long time, 60 seasons to be exact when they were know as the Seattle Riot in S18. Ironically the last time Tampa Bay made it to the Challenge Cup finals they lost to...Yup you guessed it. The Los Angeles Panthers back in S65.
