Sonja is well aware that every position is just as important as each other but perhaps no position is as unforgiving as being a Goalie. After all, if a Skater makes a mistake there is more than likely another one close by to help recover the puck or prevent the opposition team from scoring. But for a Goalie, a mistake can be deadly in terms of how difficult it is to recover from said mistake. And a Goalie's mental state is also very crucial. As such whenever her team ends up conceding a goal, she makes sure the Goalie stays in the game. After all her younger sister, Ela is also a Goalie so Sonja saw it from a young age how crucial it is for a Goalie's performance that they are mentally strong. As for when it comes to warm-up, she usually tries to help by shooting from various angles so that her Goalie can be prepared for various scenarios in a game. (164 words)

Written Option #1: Halloween and scary movies is a natural fit for the New Orleans Specters. The scary movie that the Specters would be involved in is pretty simply that the Danga Zone arena is a house of horrors for anyone that enters it. I think it would be spooky if all of the ghosts of Specters teams past were involved, such as the game 7 loss in the finals in our first season ever in season 46, the constant playoff disappointments in the seasons following that from season 47 through season 52 even though we were the best team in the league. Our game 7 loss to Buffalo in season 55, our spooky rebuild where we were the worst team in the league, and our misses when we had high picks in the SHL draft. How we got back to a place where we could compete only for FHM to spookily fuck us over with RNG and some more good New Orleans teams failed where they should’ve prevailed. Those are some of the spookiest scenarios in the SHL, so it only makes sense that the specters of those realities live inside our New Orleans Haunted House. (194)

Jamie Fraser's idea for a horror promo is to do one for the playoff schedule reveal. Being in the playoffs for the first time on this core's build is a spooky thing and while the team is not ready to contend it is fun to lean into the horror of the unknown and the big bads that are lining up as the opposition. In addition to that, some horror movies end with triumph, so there is an edge to lean into where it's not entirely doom and gloom. While our young heroes are not quite ready, there is no telling what the outcome will be and there is some hope enough there that it is not entirely out of line to make that video. Come next season, the casts will be the same, but the monsters will be the Patriotes instead, a fun riff on this seasons video.

The Montreal Patriotes, at the behest of their Head of Promtional Stuff, will.be shooting a found-footage slasher horror to raise money for local childrens' charities. The film will follow the urban legend of disgruntled former pro hockey referee William 'Bill' Wortman. Forced into retirement after an on-ice incident between Bill and a junior player, Bill spiraled into madness after his dismissal, a tragic path which ended in the slaughter of a bus filled with co-eds at a hockey tournament in Markham, ONT. After a decade in an insane asylum outside Montreal, Bill escapes as the riots following a Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup victory lead to widespread electrical outages. Freedom from captivity brings the hunger for sweet vengeance to the heart of Referee Wortman, and he sets out on a bloody thrill ride into the heart of central Ontario. Where will it end? Let's just say, there's a reason all the lines in the ice...are red. "Stay onside this Halloween, or you might feel the blade of: THE LINESEMAN!"

Written option 1: The "horror" movie that the Kelowna Knights would make would be a really, really cheesy horror movie. It would start off like a standard underdog story for a hockey team, they are the worst team, but through the efforts of the team and their new coach they are a massive success, yadda yadda, same old story. But at the very last game of the championship they fumble and they lose the game. The movie would then reveal its twist, and strange happenings begin happening around each of the players. They then learn of some curse affecting the team, and this curse has affected every team like them for decades, where they are doomed to have their souls trapped or some other threat unless they win a championship. The team would obviously break the curse because they get a rematch for xyz reason and they free all the suffering souls, yadda yadda. Its a movie that is so bad its good kind of deal.

The goalie has to stay sharp, no position is more unforgiving, as a simple mistake leads to a goal against which your team has to earn back on the other end of the ice. Anna always does her best to help out the goalies during the game by leading the breakout of the defensive zone and trying to take away the puck from opposing defensemen. If the other team doesn't have the puck in your end very much, it is hard for them to score goals. Anna plays soccer during the offseason to stay in shape, and she plays keeper there, so she can easily get into the mind of the goalie. She knows there is no greater relief as a keeper then seeing your team go on the attack and scoring a goal, and she always appreciates a nice zone clear, so she does her best in hockey to do both of those things to take pressure off of her goalie.

Option 2:
As a defenseman, Leo’s main objective is not let any good shots get to the goalie, he tries to be a reassuring presence by just being on the ice and playing the best defense he can. He has shifted towards a more offensive role so to help the goalies get into the game in warmups he takes some wrist shots from where defenders usually shoot from, he takes some from around the blue line, and while they are are easy for the goalie to save it’s good for them to get some reps from shots like that. After the puck goes in against Chicago, Leo’s main way of helping the goalie snap out of a bad mindset is to just give a simple stick tap on the pads and say something along the lines of “not much you can do” even when the goal may have been the goalies fault he knows it’s good for the goalie to not beat themselves up after a goal goes in against them

Kristian Seppanen, the star right defenceman of the Atlanta Inferno hockey team of the eastern conference of the Simulation Hockey League, otherwise known as the SHL, helps Tanner Pitts, Stun Gun, and Jim Wen, the star goalies of the Atlanta Inferno hockey team of the eastern conference of the Simulation Hockey League, otherwise known as the SHL, get in form during warm up by taking shots at them and treating it like a real game. He helps them focus by blocking shots, to make their job easier and less mentally taxing on them as good goalies. After they let in a goal, Kristian Seppanen tells them not to worry because he’ll save the next shot with a blocked shot and they’ll be good goalies still. He’ll say it’s just a game even though he doesn’t mean it because hockey is love, hockey is life to Kristian Seppanen, the star right defenceman for the Atlanta Inferno hockey team.

Zedward helps the goalie stay focused by constantly yelling at him. Zedward is very vocal on the ice, and given the close proximity as a defender to the goalie, it's important to maintain that. Zedward has become an adept shooter of the puck with a blistering slapshot. Zedward is more than happy to rip bombs from the point to the goalies in warm up. It's probably prone to injury given the sheet amount of power that Zedward had trained to generate, but it should be enough to get the goalies warmed up to stop anything the other team can generate. To help keep the goalie cool on the ice, especially after goals, Zedward will also yell encouragement, not just neutral or negative comments!! By shouting positivity it helps keep the goalie locked in and motivated. During intermission is probably the one time when Zedward isn't talking to or yelling to the goalie. Zedward usually spends intermission looking inward on how to improve

Management keeps leaving me in charge of really stupid things. I’m completely unqualified for this and they need to stop being so lazy and cheap. Anyway, since I’m such a good teammate and squad member I will still provide the plot to this horror movie, but please note it is being done for myself and not for management. For my movie, the star will be me, Puddles O’Duckling. The movie will be semi-Atlanta related as my character will be a duck, but during each half moon my character catches a flame and turns into fire duck. It’s similar to a phoenix, but obviously it’s a duck. I wreak havoc on the entire complex burning everyone and everything that moves. The only immune people to my attacks are those wearing Atlanta Inferno gear. By the end of the movie, all other SHL teams are dead and Atlanta wins the cup (by default btw). Oh the horror of Atlanta winning the league. HO will have to adjust salaries again to put them back where they belong.

Written option 2 (165 words):
Volta is really an ally for goalies. In fact, in his mind, goalies are one of the main pieces of the team to block shots and making sure to win for the team. Volta always checks his team’s goalies a lot of times during the commercial breaks to see how he is feeling. Because you know, not everyday a goalie has a good day. During warmups, Volta tries to make some shots that the goalie can do during the game against the opposing team’s superstars. Sometimes it works very well, sometimes the other teams do other tactics. But Volta checks every time his goalies to make sure he stays okay and not like freaking out. We can say that Volta is like a goalie coach for the team’s goalies during the game because he is on the ice way longer than every coach on the team and, as an assistant captain, it’s also a great aspect of leadership to check on everyone during the games.
