Every year is a reason to celebrate and 80 even more so! Sure, 100 is right around the corner but you got to stay in the present!
If Myers has million fans, then I’m one of them.
If Myers has one fan, then I’m THAT ONE.
If Myers has no fans, that means I’m dead.

All round numbers are big milestones, but as an SHL originator, I can't help but look at that number and realize how close we are to getting to 100 seasons. I never thought we'd get this far, let alone going all the way to 100. Let's celebrate the steps to get there, though and 80 is a big one.

I think it should be mentioned as it IS a big deal but the big celebration should be reserved for season 100. Maybe a minor celebration.

80 is definitely a stepping stone to 100, I feel like 75 is more important, but is really just something to pass on the way to 100. 100 is going to be an incredible feat, I cannot wait to get there

If anything just make a fun season 80 logo, I don't think it's a really "special" number but any year that's a x0 should be celebrated. Another decade!!

I believe every year is an amazing milestone for all the work put into this. Hell celebrations should be yearly. The league is growing off the great work put in. Thank you all

I confess, I always thought that sports leagues over-celebrated things with their plethora of commemorative patches and crests sewn onto jerseys and sprayed onto the ice.
However, and ever though I've only been a part of this league and community for a short period of time, 80 seasons is an absolutely incredible milestone and achievement! And while 80 might not be the sexiest number when it comes to these sorts of things, it should be as highly regarded as any other season in the fabulous RHL.

I think s80 is just a stepping stone to s100. Can't believe we already starting our 80th season. It felt like yesterday when I joined the league in s65 now we already almost 80 seasons through.

Season 80? No, I believe you have misunderstood: this season will be presented in 8D -> prepare to watch simulated hockey in dimension your puny human brain is incapable of perceiving!
For real though, it's a significant milestone and should be marked with celebration (free teeps)

I think all the ones that end in 0 are cool. Yeah we just had 75 but 10's are definitely still a milestone. Plus celebrations are fun and we should be proud

we should celebrate the 80th season of the SHL by making it so I never have to do regression again because it is theft and I think that would be nice for me. not a huge milestone though, lets go 100

80 is a nice round number, but I believe it is ultimately a stepping stone to the season 100. 100 just sounds much better than 80 to be honest

Well, any new year is an important milestone if you think about it. I mean, you will not get to 100 without 99, 98, 97, 96 and so on and so forth so you get the idea.
