S80 is an impressive feat and I think that should be thought of positively. But it's not really worth celebrating like S75 was or S100 inevitably will be. To me it's just another number.

80 is not an important milestone. 75 is pretty cool, but 80 is just an arbitrary number. What's next, are we going to celebrate 85? 90? Just because it is a multiple of 5 does not mean it is special.

80 is definitely more important! 80 is the highest rating a prospect can get in baseball, so 80 means perfect. Everyone knows a scale of 20-80 is better than 0-100

80 is pretty irrelevant, to me. a nice round number is cool i guess but it's not some huge milestone like 75 or 100 would be

It's significant because people making rookies now have the chance to play in S100 after the end of a long career. Will Hampus make it that long or will I recreate for S80? Even I don't know at this point.

80 is just another milestone but not an important one. Like 50 and 75 feel more impressive. I don't feel like there will be another big one until S100. It's still an impressive feat and a nice number, but it's just a milestone at this point. If we're going to celebrate I'd keep it low key. Just, "Hey, we made it. Let's keep moving."

What do you do for 80? Nothing? That's right, nothing. Nobdoy cares when you're 80, it's almost as bad as being 23. Once you hit retirement age it's kinda like wow, big whoop you're old now. Same thing with the SHL, what even is the 80 anniversary? Oak? Wow cool, a tree.

Of course 80 is a milestone to celebrate. I can remember back when we were in the TEENS! It is incredible how far the league has come in terms of users and players and awesome how much people have invested into making this a really impressive hobby for all of us to participate in together. Proud of the SHL for reaching its 80th season!

The only time when 80 is a big deal is when you really needed a “B” in the class and you actually get that “B” that you needed. This is also assuming that it’s a 10 point scale. Let’s just celebrate at 100.

I honestly don't see much of a reason to go on a hard celebration for S80. I feel like there's a part of me that just like gets more satisfaction out of quarterly stuff rather than 20s. 1st, 5th, 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, 100th are the biggest milestones in my book.

75 is a larger milestone than 80 mostly because of the pop culture belief of 3/4th of a century. 80 is very much a stepping stone instead, even if it may be celebrated like a small holiday

Honestly, after 25, celebrating only every 25 years makes sense until you 100, then its every 50 years, until about 250, and then its like, every milestone anyone cares to put something together for.
