I think it's crazy that there have been 80 seasons of the SHL, especially considering how long i have been on the site, i think it should be celebrated. Give everyone 80 tpe!

While every season we get is an important one, the next big celebratory one is clearly season 100 and everything in between 75 and that is just filler.

I think in sim leagues, the dawn of any new season isn't guaranteed. Therefore every season should be appreciated, because it's just another few months of enjoyment for hundreds of people across various leagues. So be proud of 80, and keep your sights set higher!
I don't think 80 is particularly important beyond just being a decade season. In my French Duolingo lessons, I've learned that 80 is translated to four twenties, and 420 is one of the funny numbers.

80 is certainly not as big a celebration as 75, much less 100. I think the best way to celebrate it would just be by making novelty glasses cause 8 and 0 both work for that.

I can fairly confidently say 80 seasons of anything is a major milestone and achievement or its own. The fact that the community has not only endured, but grown so considerably ever since inception is something to be proud of for sure.

I think the league milestones mean different things to different people. 80 has no particular significance to me outside of being a round number, but S84 will mark the point at which I've been in the league for over half its existence. I feel old now

Every lustrum is significant in the road to 100 season in the SHL. So yeah it is a pretty big deal just like 75 season was.
