OPTION 2:

I do and I do not, and I do not want to take away from the effort of the All-Star Comittee this is a great step forward. It is really nice to see something refreshing add to the SHL. We do not change a who lot in general so I applaud the effort and thought that went into this event. It will always meet criticism no matter what the comittee decides upon.

The only change I would have made, is allowing current legends who are aging compete at their prime. We are bringing in past Hall of Famers for this event. I would have loved to have seen Viktor Hargreeves in his prime taking on some of the Hall of Famers over Logan Webb.

So if I would have changed anything maybe look at whom is on their current roster that had produced the best results over the last 10 seasons and include them at their prime level.

I am going to be honest, I am not sure how the Hall of Fame players will fit into this, what their TPE level will be at, if they even reached the level of TPE in their prime as our current players have achieved. If you look at someone like Ron Mexico, he only had a max TPE of 700 maybe 800, he didn't even max earn in his time, but he did enough and was on a team that allowed his talents to shine. (We also had a very different purchasing scale and a different simulator)

Ron Mexico will not be able to compete against the players of today.

So looking at what I know for certain is the current roster and players. With that I know Dominik Winters and Logan Webb are a premier center/winger combo. Add in teammate Oskar Scholz and this is a top line that will dominate. On defense keep them familiar, Rowan O'Bierne and Willow Soderberg-Snook once again SFP players at least at one point. Finally use there goalie Justin Time, they know him and he knows how they play. They are familiar with one another. They are still top stars in the SHL. They will win this tournament if needed.
