While Jesus Murphy is in the hearts of his teammates, he's not much of a contributing factor on the ice. Sometimes, it's almost better if he can remove himself from the equation and essentially donate icetime to the five better defenders. As such, when the situation calls for it, he tries to goad one of the better players on the opposing team into a fight. This usually starts with agitating physical play until he is forced to bear several crosschecks on his back, before he turns to speak the truth to the other party involved (that they're a little bitch). If he can get them to take a swing, he will make a show of turning the other cheek while the refs watch in an attempt to draw an instigator penalty on the opposition. After this point, it is now free game for Jesus to start dispensing biblical justice and rain his vengeance upon the enemy before getting a lengthy break where he can watch better players play for him instead

Ongo Gablogian certainly does not fight. He is too small and far too rotund to be trying to fight anyone. In addition to that, he doesn’t really have any rivals to speak of since he isn’t good at hockey. Most players actually enjoy playing against him because it is so easy to do. I guess if he ended up getting pulled into a fight, if you could call him getting beat to a pulp by anyone even remotely athletic a fight, it would against someone on his old team the Buffalo Stampede. He loves all the fellas on Buffalo and he will always consider them Buffabros, but Ongo does love to put on a good show and thrust himself into the limelight. He would probably “fight” an old friend of his on the Stampede just to entertain the fans, whether it be his new fans in New England or his old fans in Buffalo.

Celly has fought exactly once in their entire Simulation Hockey League career, and that was in their rookie preseason against a dear friend. They both recorded a loss for that fight. So it would be difficult to get them to fight, and it's not likely that they'll drop the gloves with someone they don't have a relationship of some kind with- former SMJHL and World Juniors teammates are the most likely options for them to do so with. And it would need to be reciprocal- it's not likely that they'd go with someone much larger than them or that they hadn't already been jawing at and verbally fighting with. Of course, they're always ready to brawl, that's just their personality even if they aren't typically doing it on the ice, so no one is likely to catch them off guard, but it's definitely likely that they lose, and it's always going to be a personal conflict rather than one with the aim of waking up their teammates. However, they are relatively protective of their younger teammates and would probably jump into a conflict in defense of players like Mary Hollywood or Ylib Kove.

Elaina Beneski takes a multi-pronged approach to motivating her team for the playoff push.

First, there is the literal pushing for the playoffs. If she sees a teammate that she thinks isn't giving it that extra effort, she gives them a full force two-handed shove right in the chest.

Then, there is the deprivation. Any luxuries that she suspects are a distraction from the task at hand are confiscated and summarily curled out of the window.

It's not all stick, there's some carrot too. Elaina Beneski has been known to offer teammates who rise to the occasion a muffin top, giving them an encouraging nod and saying, "Top o' the muffin to you." She's still looking for some way to dispose of the bottoms, though.

I think my player would be fighting Ace but not the fake simulation hockey league player I mean the real person Ace because he forced me to play winger and then when I put points into faceoffs he hacked my computer and redistributed it into shooting range to try nad get me in trouble. Besides that I would probably go fight some goalies since they are always being annoying and stopping the puck from going in the net. I would love to have a hockey player hat trick named after myself which is when you fight a skater, a goalie, and a ref in the same game. It doesnt really matter if it effects the game at the current moment. Probably have another season or two to go wild and really have some fun on the ice doing whatever the hell we want before we are really competing for our cup.

While Anna Skovgaard doesn't go out of her way to get into a fight, she definitely is not afraid to drop the gloves either. The opportunity to do so came up in a recent rivalry game versus the Edmonton Blizzard. The Dragons were on the road a little ways north in Edmonton, and jump out to an early four goal lead, which they padded a bit in the second with two more goals. But it started to unravel a bit in the third period, where the Blizzard scored three goals in the span of three minutes. Fellow S76 draftee and high end draft pick Alexa Johansen had been throwing some shade all game, and when she laid a bad looking hit on Anna's linemate James Howlett, the top two draft picks of the S75 SMJHL draft dropped the gloves and had at it. While the fight did last a decent length, neither of the girls are particularly great at fighting, but the bout did go Anna's way since she is the bigger of the two girls. The fight did get the Dragons going again, and Froya Solberg put the game away a couple minutes afterwards.

Holl is here to inspire and inspire he does. Maybe not one for major speeches or giving a good locker room talk but he plays with the upmost intensity. Defensemen are in a special position for that too. Putting your literal body on the line to block shots, take and give hits, maybe even a fight or two, but it all reflects on the team and how they react. Holl knows that and it's why he goes out and blocks all of the shots and throws as many hits around as he can. He knows that these moments of the game can become goals and a goal against your team can really take the wind out of their sails.

We've all seen it where the ice just gets absolutely tilted and it comes down to those key moments and big plays. Holl sees them instead as opportunity to make sure his team stays gassed up and ready to play the long hard game.

Like most of these prompts, the answer isn't so simple for Optimus Autonomous. As a robot, they don't give fiery, motivational speeches to fire up the team or hold team get-togethers as a way to bring the team closer together. Optimus is a repository of everything there is to know about hockey. He can help his team take their game to another level in a different way.

This was evident in a recent practice. To improve their puck movement on the power play, drills were set up in which players were required to move around the offensive zone and pass the puck a certain number of times before a shot could be taken. Optimus was able to analyze these drills and point out where things could be executed better.

Players working on specific skills are able to collaborate with Optimus in ways they can't collaborate with their human teammates. Optimus is able to watch this work, replay it to themselves, and give notes in a fraction of a second. It's truly a unique experience.

Option 2 -

Kevin Kim has always thought a teams success in the playoffs always resulted from a good end of the season. Thus, in the 81st season of the SHL, Kevin Kim, now a part of the Tampa Bay Barracuda, always tries his best to motivate his team as best as possible. Motivation can take form in various ways. For example, motivation could be made from simple things such as winning a puck battle or making the right play in a hard position. It is what turns the game around and pumps the team to their maximum potential. It is also what builds chemistry and momentum. Therefore, Kevin Kim motives his team through small things like prioritizing on making more efficient plays, winning puck battles, playing defensively, and being an overall positive influence on the ice. Additionally, Kim makes some noise in the locker room through matters of leadership and motivational speech/encouragement towards his fellow teammates. Although these are "every day" things in hockey, making a slight difference in gameplay/ or improving in one discipline could motivate the team to have the courage to win playoff games as a team.

Written Option 1

Lyle Odelein IV isn't afraid to drop the gloves. He knows it's part of the game and that it can serve a very important purpose for the game being played and for the team morale overall. One of the last games of the regular season for the New Orleans Specters was against the Texas Renegades. The Specters divisional rival. Knowing that these two teams could very well meet in the playoffs, as they did last season, played a very heated affair to end the season, in which Lyle Odelein IV thought his team could use a boost, and show everyone the Specters were not going to be a team that can be pushed around.. Lyle dropped his gloves against a Renegade, and they trading punches for a bit, before Odelein landed a clean shot, and took the fight for the Specters. This scrap is going to be remembered by the players, it will remind them that they can change the feel of the game with one big play or sacrifice. That during the playoffs is priceless.

Option 2:

You up the intensity in practice. You give your all so they give theirs. You start pushing with grit. You know full well in playoffs everyone is going to be hitting harder, skating harder, skating faster, holding their sticks harder, pushing you harder. You are going to be feeling it after a full 60 minute game and to do it up to 7 times and then have that go on for 4 rounds. You better be ready for a war. You have to be on your A game at all times. There is never a time where you can let off the gas when it comes to playoffs. The fans play a huge factor into a playoff game as well. You feel the pressure of the fans with the rally towels being ready for anything that someone pushes towards you. The intensity when it comes to hockey is like nothing else when it comes to playoffs.

Sonja has always been the type to lead by example. She doesn't nudge other players to do better instead she just likes to focus on herself and do the best she can. After all she has been putting more effort into training than others for a while now. Almost always being the first to arrive and last to leave. As such in her mind, she doesn't feel like she needs to do more on that regard. If someone doean't wanna put effort into training then Sonja can't exactly change that. That being said lately she started speaking up more and more in the dressing room, especially with the playoffs being so close. So she at least tries to motivate other players with her speech. Other than that she also tends to host team dinners where she invites players of the team out either for a dinner at one of the restaurants or if her time allows then she likes to cook for the time. After all that also gives another opportunity for the team to bond further.

Writing option 2:

In the last games of the season with Kelowna, we knew that we whould make the playoffs, because we had an incredible year. In fact, we were sitting 3rd In the whole league! Every games, I was remembering my teammates that we have to play until the last second of every games. I did this In order to keep my teammates in the game and that nobody gets out of his game so that we continue to be the team we had been all season long! We also wanted to keep our winning streak going and show other teams that we are a real contender for the 4 star cup. I also wanted to step my game up, even though I played awesome in my 2nd season. I just wanted to lead the exemple both on and off the ice and be a positive leader! Finaly, after the last game of the season, I gave a great speech telling my teammates how proud I am to play with them, and hyping them up about the upcomming playoffs, where we could really end up winning, because of our incredible core!
