2. Tampa Bay had the easier road to the finals because the East is a terrible conference that frankly should be contracted. Atlanta made the second round for crying out loud. The only sweep thus far has been a first round matchup in the East, because no one knows what Toronto is doing. Life imitates art imitates life, I suppose. Still, East bad, eat pant, Justin Time will devour all your possible futures and leave only the memory of possibility. You will be a withered husk, knowing free will exists because you remember what it was like to have it. You will march towards a miserable, foredoomed end, with neither choice nor surprise, until you welcome oblivion. Justin Time devours all. Especially TBB. Your offense means nothing, the TPE of your defense can't even pretend to threaten the Elder Horror. What chance do you think you have? Against the power that has arisen in the West, there can be no victory. We must join with him, SHL. We must join with Justin. It would be wise, my friends. (177 words, +3 TPE) 5. The answer to this question is "it depends". If you have a goalie who can hold up his end on his own, an incredible forward corps can outscore its problems. A stalwart defense can only get you so far if your forwards can't score a goal and your tendie is a human sieve. Assuming average goaltending, elite offense vs elite defense is impossible to predict without in-depth system analysis on both teams: Xs and Os matter a lot in a matchup like this. Assuming that too is about even, it's going to depend on the other end of the matchup. Whose elites perform better: the elite forwards on defense, or the elite defensemen on offence? If the defensemen can't generate shots, but the forwards do an incredible job suppressing them, obviously the forwards carry it. As stated previously, the answer to this question is that all such questions are petty and useless: we are all skating into the maw of Justin Time, all to be consumed and added to his library of stolen memories and other-lived lives. Leto II Atreides could only dream of such knowledge and power, yet he dared to claim not only to be an emperor, but also to be a god? What does a worm-man know of divinity? 1. Trivia (+3 TPE):
Word: devil SSL Article Affiliate (+3 TPE): SSL Article from 2023-03-26 8. Who you got? Who wins the Challenge Cup or Four Star Cup? Why? (114 words, +2 TPE): In my opinion, San Francisco will make the history and become the first team to make a 3 championship wins in a row. In fact, they have a lot of great chemistry and a lot of experience that they are harder to beat. Even if they had the easiest route to the playoffs race, they got a huge surprise at the first round with Winnipeg leading the first round against them after 3 games. They know how to bounce back and, I think, that’s why this team is special. They can make the surprise at any time, any moment. Sorry to Tampa Bay fans, but I think San Francisco is going to win all. 2. Which team has had the easier road to the cup finals? Do you think they could have made it to the finals if they were in a different division? honestly, i would have to say san francisco. is it because they had a better regular season? yes. but also, they've been the class of the west for 4 seasons now, while tampa had to go through three seasoned teams in philadelphia, new england, and atlanta, and you can very easily say that the barracuda weren't favored in most of those series. you put san francisco in the east and i don't think they have as easy of a time as they had. (83 words) 4. Despite being very heavily in regression, Tampa Bay’s Jølngüštrâädüvich DuBølk, Rikkert Biemans and Johnny Wagner-Svenson are still producing at very respectable rates. Is having depth players who can perform really well despite being low on TPE responsible for TBB’s recent success this and last postseason? definitely. wagner-svenson has been around for a long time and is a proven playoff performer. biemans and dubolk have had long, successful shl careers as well. when you're making a playoff run, you need depth guys who have experience in the postseason, and tampa having guys like that has been crucial to their shocking success. (55 words) 5. 8 of the top 10 players by TPE on SFP are forwards, meanwhile 4 of the 6 TBB Defensemen are part of the top 10 players by TPE. Do you think it’s more important to have a core of powerful forwards or a core of incredible defensemen? i am a defenseman, so my answer to this is going to be biased, but i think having a stronger defense is more important to a team's core. forwards can come and go, and they can produce no matter what TPE level they are (example - my ia ass at 1300 tpe had 90 points on hamilton). defensemen are far more important to a team. (64 words) 6. Your player gets added to a message group by accident and gets an unintentional invite to watch the finals live with the commissioners on their box. What does your player do and how does the situation evolve? i show up in the commissioner's box drunk with some german brewskis. wannabefinn looks at me, says "why are you here", i explain why, and finn just kind of looks at me and says "sure as long as you keep it classy." now, i have no dog in the fight this series, so i just watch and slam brewskis. finn eventually asks me for a brewski, i give one to him, and we just chill. OPTION 1:
Excelsior +3 TPE OPTION 2: Despite being on San Francisco Pride, it is clear Tampa Bay has experienced the more difficult path to the finals. And it kind of hurts to say that, but... In the first round the Pride played Winnipeg Aurora. A team up and coming and looking like they will become a juggernaut in a few seasons, but this season they are still building. In the East the Barracuda played Philadelphia Forge a top tier team and a cup hopeful. In the second round it was a quality team in Seattle Argonauts that the Pride squared up against, despite being a quality team, the Pride are built with more depth and overall a stronger roster. The Barracuda faced off against The Atlanta Inferno a championship level match and arguably a favourite to win the cup. In the third round you would think New Orleans Specters would be a tougher opponent for the Pride over the New England Wolfpack who played thr Barracuda. Through most of this season you would be right, but Lily Jin Morrow has gone on GOD MODE these playoffs and they alone make this a harder series. There you have it. Tampa has faced the tougher opponents all the way through the playoffs. There could be a counter argument that San Francisco out played their tougher opponents better, but realistically it's Tampa. 220ish words +4 TPE OPTION 3 I truly believe this is a reflection of San Francisco Prides team philosophy. There are no individuals that make up this winning roster (Justin Time may feel differently as we can leave him on his own little island stopping pucks, but that is a story for another day). These two Webb and Winters have grown together in the SHL, always playing on one anothers line and they have become compliment pieces to one another. They both try and push the other to find success and put the team's needs before their own. I can say this with whole honesty Webb would rather see Winters and the rest of the team achieve success rather than his own, and in turn the team feels the same way to Webb. It is more than a duo that creates this success it is a full buy in. If for some reason the two were to be separated Winters would continue to flourish, it is the nature of centers. Webb could struggle to find the same level of success without Winter on his side. 180 words +3 TPE TOTAL 11 TPE (+8 TPE) ![]() Sig by Lazyeye
