S82 mPT #2: Saturday Morning Cartoons Due: Sunday, May 4th @ 11:59 PM PST

Mänty would, bit on the later age though, stumble onto Pasila and watch them over and over as kid/teen. Now he does refresh his memory every now and then by watching the whole series during long flight and then repeating the jokes to his Finnish team mates, William Salming and Marko Kivimäki

Not a show but Kelly would always have The Might Ducks playing growing up. Something about seeing a scrappy team of boys and girls who have next to no resources buying in and giving it their all was inspirational for a young kid in a hockey family.

You might not be familiar with it, but for Matviy Cajabi growing up one of his favourite cartoons growing up was called Kapitoshka.
It was pretty popular in the 80s and 90s in the Ukraine with people of all ages knowing the catchy theme song.
For Cajabi, there wasn't a lot of opportunity to watch cartoons between helping around the family farm, attending school, and of course hockey. As well, there wasn't really a bevy of choices to watch on the television back in Kramatorsk growing up. So now, when he has some down time, Cajabi loves to catch up on all of the cartoons he missed out on over the years, from the likes of classics like The Flintstones and The Jetsons to Adventure Time and Rick & Morty, plus everything in between. Not to mention, it's a great way for him to work on his ever improving grasp of the English language.

Graj's favorite show as a child was Cyberchase. It was a off-brand kids' show at the 4PM slot on weekdays, but his lizard brain loved it a lot.

Thanks to EAB and sulovien for the sigs!

Khalfani did not watch tv growing up. He spent almost all his time outside when he wasn't at school playing various games and going exploring. TV was for the unimaginative!

Arthur was the bomb. I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but it remained wholesome, and yet the characters all still had distinctive and interesting personalities and backstories.

Roddy B's favourite cartoon growing up was Arthur. It's educational, based around family values, and entertaining while teaching valuable life lessons about patience, friendship, and trust. Unfortunately, this has meant he has grown up to be a weapons-grade Dork.

You know my favourite Cartoon growing up was Phineas and Ferb, why? Cause even if they did some really messed up creations they still got away with it and that's the mindset I have when risking a penalty "maybe I will get away with it?"

Colton Paraygeko’s favorite show growing up was the proud family. He thoroughly enjoyed how they were unapologetically themselves. It does still impact him as it helps remind him to be authentic and true to himself.

Favorite TV show growing up? Easy, Phineas and Ferb. What's not to like? It's good fun and the songs are super catchy, plus I remember really liking the movie when I was a kid.

Thank you OrbitingDeath and RainDelay for the sigs, and sve7en for the You Belong banners!

Oskars favorite show growing up was Bernard und Otto. It's eerily similar to Phineas and Ferb, but with a pair of young german boys. One even has a triangle head.

Matti's morning show of choice in his childhood was, of course, Latibær. Not only was it home grown in Iceland, but when he started working on learning English, watching the dubbed version called LazyTown was a huge help in working out the language.

Captain Obvious was a big Captain Planet fan! Why? He knew at first he'd be a Captain of his own one day, and saving the planet versus saving money on hotels are pretty close to each other, right?

Hodor's favorite show growing up was Game of Thrones. It was like looking into his future and gave him a profound sense of deja vu when his life caught up to the show's timeline, but he didn't want to spoil events or ruin everyone else's fun so he just went along with it exactly as he witnessed
