Vintage Lil Wayne is about 1 trillion times better than anything Lil B has ever put out so that statement is invalid

Yeahthat

Wayne still puts out good shit every now and then. I feel like he just doesn't care anymore and he doesn't really try to be great, but that's imo.

Honestly who is worst... A troll that makes fun of Lil Wayne, Chief Keef etc.. or someone who actually tries and is complete garbage and a disgrace to rap.

I don't think Keef or Wayne is really trying, neither of them are proclaiming to be great at this point, I know Wayne used to but he's cooled that and now I think both of them are just making crappy music to try and get money

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

this, although even if Keef does try he'll still suck. Saying Lil B is better than Lil Wayne, or anyone for that matter is dumb lol.

that's possible. tyga's debut had a few good songs, but other than that, oh boy.

Snoop Lion - Reincarnated

Rebel Way: 4/5
Here Comes the King (ft. Angela Hunte): 3.25/5
-Snoop doesn't really say much of anything, lol. I like the hook though, it really fits the song nicely. The effect on Snoop's voice is kinda strange, honestly.
Lighters Up (ft. Mavado & Popcaan): 2.5/5
-I was about to call this a smoker's song, but then I remembered this is a smoker's album. Not dreadful. but far from good.
So Long (ft. Angela Hunte): 3.25/5
Get Away (ft. Angela Hunte): .75/5
-Nope no nah nada. How about no. Gets worse-and-worse as the song goes on.
No Guns Allowed (ft. Drake & Cori B): 4.25/5
-Song with a great message from an unexpected source. On the first listen, the Drake verse feels...out of place. But, the more I listen to this one, the more I fux with it.
Fruit Juice (ft. Mr. Vegas): .5/5
-And here we have another sub-1/5 song. .5/5 feels generous.
Smoke the Weed (ft. Collie Buddz): 1.75/5
-I wonder if this is about smoking.
Tired of Running (ft. Akon): 3.25/5
-Cover of a song by Akon. Not awful, but would prefer if he put an original song here instead of a cover.
The Good Good (ft. Iza): .25/5
-Just when I thought my ears had heard it all. SKIP.
Torn Apart (ft. Rita Ora): 1.5/5
-Rita Ora sounds good on this one. Snoop is dreadful though.
Ashtrays and Heartbreaks (ft. Miley Cyrus): 2.5/5
-Signifies his downfall. Before even hearing the song, I thought, "Really? Miley Cyrus on a Snoop song?" But, the quality is improving slightly here. However, you know an album is bad when you think, "Well, this one is alright. I mean, it doesn't suck."
Boulevard (ft. Jahdan Blakkamoore): 2.25/5
-Pretty shitty.
Remedy (ft. Busta Rhymes & Chris Brown): 4/5
-Another song where I don't hate Chris Brown. A pretty chill song overall though.
La La La: 3.25/5
-The first song he ever released as Snoop Lion. I hated it on the first listen way back when. Don't hate it as much anymore.
Harder Times (ft. Jahdan Blakkamoore): 4/5
-Inspirational song to end the album. I like that.

41.25/80 -> 2.58/5

I didn't plan this, but I guess it's appropriate for me to listen to this on 4/20. This album was really all over the place and had some songs that made me think, "Huh, maybe this album won't suck as much as I thought it would." But, then I'd hear another song and wind up thinking, "Oh dear God, make it stop." Overall, it was not as bad as I thought it would be (I expected every single song to be dreadful) and I found a few songs I did enjoy, but Snoop should just retire from music. His last rap album, Doggumentary, sucked dick, and this was also no good. Why Snoop why. While the album rating is only .06 better than Tyga's album, I'd say that this album is leaps-and-bounds better, solely because this one actually has a few good songs, while Hotel California was horrible from start to finish.

:o See this is why I need this thread, I don't know any of these things happen because I'm never following music that closely. I can't wait. Cole is quickly getting to being possibly my favorite rapper.

An old man's dream ended. A young man's vision of the future opened wide. Young men have visions, old men have dreams. But the place for old men to dream is beside the fire.

Pretty dope, excited to see what Gambino can come out with next, hoping it's a studio album not a mix tape. LOVED Camp
