yeah honestly Weiss and Clarkson would be a dream off-season, and Weiss' value will be down cause his contract year was awwwwful even before he got injured. He will help in the faceoff department too.

Ahh, so it was mostly mis-coaching. I was confused because I've always liked Grabo, and couldn't understand the big falloff.

Oh, and I wouldn't go for Michalek, TBH, he's an offensive blackhole and I don't think he'd work well for you guys.

It's fine if he doesn't put up points. The idea is to get a top shutdown dman.

Michalek would be perfect on the top pairing with Phaneuf. Michalek plays pretty good defensively and that's something we need and especially when he is right handed it helps as well. He is a Carlyle type Defensemen.

Then I guess he could be worth the risk, but he's VERY soft playing despite his excellent shot blocking skills.

Or you just hold out and hope Shero doesn't find a way to open cap-space, then Letang will hit Free Agency and I'll Q_Q.

Imagine if the Leafs got Letang...

Phaneuf, Gardiner, Reilly, Franson, and Letang.... Lol. Bunch of offensive minded players.

Dion isn't an offensive-minded player he's a stay at home guy

it would be good because they need guys that can skate and of the guys you just listed the only strong skaters other than Letang are Gardiner and Rielly.

He is mixed. He definitely isn't just a stay at home dman. He pinches and goes really deep sometimes.

Would you say... balls deep?
