thats awful

Backstrom is better then Ribeiro in the transition game and defensively(Backstrom is part of the Caps PK, as well).

Ribiero would be the cheaper of the two if both were available, but Backstrom is the far better player at both ends of the ice.

Nah Backstrom is a far more complete player and he gets the tougher matchups. Elite player.

Backstrom is definitely the better player, I'm not saying Ribeiro is better at all but I do believe Ribeiro is extremely underrated and one of my favourite players which is one reason I prefer him over Backstrom. Also I think it would be hard to afford another 6.5M+ player in Backstrom (I think his cap is near there) whereas Ribeiro I think you could get for 4-5M possibly.
