What makes you think that? No one is trading for him. Vancouver can't handle that contract. Either him or Schnids goes. Correct me if I'm wrong but if Luongo retires then the team has to take his full contract into the cap.

I hope Islanders or Flyers get him though, because there isn't a need for Bernier. I rather sign a Vet Backup. Or if they really think there is a need for another young goaltender they should draft Fucale if available. But I would rather them take a goalie in the 2nd Round.

Nonis has yet to do anything that has impressed me. I'm a little worried. He tried to go after Kipp when he had an .800 save percentage last year, he is going for Bernier which is something we do not need, and he traded Mike Brown :( haha.

Look, I'm a big Phaneuf fan and I think he takes way more shit than he needs to, but with his contract situation, I'd happily welcome a trade if it involves getting the 7th overall pick. Same with Gunnar.

The only defenceman on the current roster that shouldn't be moved is Gardiner in my opinion.

I would happily trade the 7th in a deal for Phanuef, if the deal ends up being around those two pieces id be ecstatic. Don't know if I feel the same way about Gunnarson but I have to admit I haven't watched him play a lot.

Heres why I saw no to Phanuef... WE HAVE A CHANCE AT THE PLAYOFFS! Why trade away one of our positional needs? I would do Gunnarsson but who would trade a 7th OA for him? Great defenceman but that's an overpayment.
