Scores 30 goals while crushing opponents. Max I would pay Clarkson is 5M though. If him and Horton want overpayments then we can get Ryder or Clowe for 2nd line.
Id look for something at the most at 4-5 mil range for Clarkson. If we add Vinny and maybe let Bozak go and trade Grabo for a good D or maybe even one of our prospects is ready.I think we could be a cup contender.

Ok hold it. Clarkson wants 6M-7M? Lick my nuts buddy. 4M maximum. He isn't getting paid in the range of guys like Kessel. That's crazy talk. Worse then Bozak asking for 5M.
Leafs are still talking to Bozak. Talks are less then $5M for 8 years. Confused on why they are still talking to him tbh. Not much room down the centre position. I would resign him if it's for 3.5Mish.

I think Overpaying for Horton would be better option than overpaying for Clarkson IMO. Most I would go with Clarkson is 5Mil and I think thats pushing it IMO. Wow Cap is going down and these players are asking for alot of money. Just wow.
Teams cant give these huge 12 year deals that trail off at the end. Clarkson is still asking for a lot though.
Luckily, Detroit got Datsyuk for 7.5 and somone might get Clarkson for the same shit
Leafs will resign Bozie, But he will play 2nd line as the leafs will sign Vinny for top line money. I think and I think they will sign either Horton or Clowe. Also If Nonis wants to clear cap then getting rid of Connolly or Komi for specs or picks. Even buying either of them out.
I also think that he might trade phaneuf for a couple players that equal around the same cap so i doesnt cost the other team alot of money.

So since I am new I do not know you and know if you're trolling or just being dumb.
But Resigning Bozak and adding Vinny would give them 6 centres....Connolly is a UFA. Komisarek will likely be bought out. But no they aren't going to resign Bozak & sign Vinny.

This doesn't make sense.
We have Kadri who is going to be playing top 6. We have Grabovski still in the picture and he would be top 6 as well. We have Bolland who is 3C and McClement who would be 4C. We also have a young guy in Colborne who looked very good when playing in the NHL last year (definitely the playoffs). As you can see we have no room for Bozak any more. If we do get another centre like Vinny or Riberio then Grabovski would be traded/bought out.
I doubt we trade Phaneuf now tbh. I figure it was more of a thing to get a top pick in the draft. Who knows though.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are actively shopping center Mikhail Grabovski, two sources close to the organization told TFP on Tuesday.
Grabovski, 29, has four years left on a five-year, $27.5 million contract.
He also owns a limited no-trade clause, where he can list up to 10 teams he will not accept a trade to.
It's unclear if the Maple Leafs have asked him to update his list, but according to one source, the Leafs have had a conversation with the Detroit Red Wings about Grabovski.
Several teams are looking for help up the middle, including the Anaheim Ducks, St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning, Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers, though it's not known if these clubs have had conversations with Toronto regarding Grabovski.
The Leafs acquired center Dave Bolland from the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday, further deepening their center position.
Leafs GM Dave Nonis and his staff have been in negotiations with center Tyler Bozak, who can sign with any team starting noon ET on July 5.
Bozak is believed to be seeking a long-term deal worth more than $5 million per season, something the Leafs are not willing to pay.
Toronto is, however, expected to pursue free agent center Stephen Weiss, who has spent his entire NHL career with the Florida Panthers, and will begin speaking to his camp as soon as teams are allowed to do so, at 12:01am ET Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Maple Leafs are also entertaining calls for defensemen Carl Gunnarsson, Cody Franson and John-Michael Liles.
