Like I said, a third or a fourth, maybe a middling prospect in there I'm pretty confident he can find his stride in Colorado again. ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Ochocinco@Jul 3 2013, 11:11 PMI love Liles but we have no room for him. Would rather Gardiner take his spot this season. ![]() Registered S15 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by Taylor@Jul 3 2013, 09:14 PMThat's why I think giving him back makes soooooo much sense. ![]() SHL GM Professor of Baldeconomics
Actually a huge Liles fan personally.
“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.” ![]() ![]() Banned Banned
If Nonis can sign Weiss then he should trade Grabovski ASAP for whatever. If he doesn't sign Weiss then trade Liles for something alright. Although if Grabovski plays 2C this year then he will be back to his scoring self.

You don't often look to a D to bring you back into a game. A Center, can shut down the best opposing players though. ![]() Registered S8, S9, S14, S20, S21 Challenge Cup Champion
I would not touch Clarkson for 6 mil, that's too much, however he will get it in UFA, everyone is overpaid in UFA

lots $$$ RT @capgeek:Leafs cap payroll is now 29th among 30 #NHL teams at around $40M, just ahead of the #NYIsles. http://www.capgeek.com/mapleleafs Retweeted by Damien Cox Expand Kadri/Franson/Gunnar/Bernier So on the safe side I am going to say $20M for those 4 average. Then we have 20M left over. ![]() Registered S1, S3, S4, S6, S13, S19 and S28 Challenge Cup Champion ![]() Banned Banned Quote:Originally posted by JayTee@Jul 4 2013, 11:22 AM Sorry. You are correct. I am not sure why I put that up. lol My thoughts on the high end for each player Kadri - 4M Franson - 4M Gunnar - 3M Bernier - 4M = 15M That is on the high end also I believe. I think they will all sign for cheaper. ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Real Deal@Jul 4 2013, 12:25 PMI think more realistically Kadri will get 3 million, and he really shouldn't get any more then that for 1 good season. Franson anywhere between 3-4 is fair. Gunnar should be right around 3 million. Bernier shouldn't be anywhere close to 4 million. Sign him to a short contract(2 years) for between 2.5 and 3 a year. |
