Ya for like a few games but that's not really long enough to 'not produce'. Any good player goes cold at times. Carlyle just don't like him, and once the old dinosaur doesn't like someone that's it.
![]() Banned Banned Quote:Originally posted by Taylor@Jul 4 2013, 05:47 PM Doesn't show PP/PK time there which he certainly got a lot of to start the season. Kadri did not.....and really other than the 1st game Kadri had pretty much the same ice time. Grabovski had PP/PK time while Kadri got very little PP time and like no PK time. ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by jkrever@Jul 4 2013, 05:50 PMHim and Kadri played the same minutes up in till like March 7th... (excluding the beginning when Grabovski was playing up to 20mins a game) Bolded Comment: Smh. ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Real Deal@Jul 4 2013, 05:52 PMGrabovski didn't start as the 3C. The end. ![]() Banned Banned Quote:Originally posted by jkrever@Jul 4 2013, 05:50 PM I mean Kessel doesn't score for like 10+ games and he doesn't get moved. lol ![]() Registered Posting Freak
Well he shouldn't play above Bozak or Kadri. What are you gonna do then?
![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Real Deal@Jul 4 2013, 05:54 PMThis would be because Kessel was still at least putting up points. Besides Kessel is an elite scorer who is a game changer. You don't bench a game changing player. ![]() Banned Banned Quote:Originally posted by Taylor@Jul 4 2013, 05:54 PM 1 - It's pretty hard to talk about 2/3 C on Leafs seeing as they were interchangeable. 2 - Grabovski since the start of the year was forced to play against the other teams top line....also a reason why he had more icetime than Kadri being the shutdown role 3 - Like I said, Carlyle never liked Grabovski since he came. He doesn't play like Carlyle wants him too. I mean he's gone now so not sure why this is even a conversation atm. lol ![]() Banned Banned Quote:Originally posted by Taylor@Jul 4 2013, 05:58 PM Kessel had 6 points in his first 10 games....4 in his first 9.....he never saw a demotion at all....you're being hypocritical ![]() Registered Posting Freak
And now people are going to let their emotions get involved when this was clearly the best thing for the team moving forward.
![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Real Deal@Jul 4 2013, 06:00 PMand Grabovski had 5pts, all coming in 3 games. Grabovski was playing pretty bad whereas Kessel was actually playing very well and getting quality scoring chances. Like I said above, Kessel is also a game changer, you don't demote a player like that definitely when they are playing well and just on a slump. Not being hypocritical at all. ![]() Banned Banned Quote:Originally posted by Wheelz@Jul 4 2013, 06:02 PM Indeed. It is the best move going forward. Hopefully they can grab Weiss with this. ![]() SHL GM Professor of Baldeconomics
Go Habs!!

There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.” ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak
And I'm not a huge Carlyle fan. But honestly, Grabo is just being immature with those comments about the coaching staff. You take the role that your given and you play your ass off for the good of the team and usually, almost always, if you play well enough the coach will give you a bigger role. That's not something Grabovski did last season. At no point did he even put pressure on Carlyle.
