I like how this trade turned out and as, Schultz or Rehn said, we looked at every possible scenario in the Front Office and this, ultimately, was our decision. It's a good trade just before the deadline. Now will it pan out? I don't know. I believe we play the Dragons, the favorite to win this seasons cup, tomorrow. Lets wait and see the results. Looks like a solid deal for both teams, good Goaltenders will always be in demand (just look at what Ask was traded for a few seasons back), so FourFour could be a very nice asset to have even for a team that already has its starter.
And while I'm usually not a fan of trading good young assets for rentals I think this is decent for Hamilton as well, seeing where FourFour was drafted just less then a season ago, they sure maximized the value of that pick in a very short time Smile.

The way I see it is short term deal vs long term deal. Both teams get what they desired and Hamilton has enough of a spect cupboard to do this move.
