So they've been together less then a month and you expect them to have this amazing chemistry like they're the Sedins?
No but Ryan is notoriously lazy lol. It showed last night when he didn't want to hussle on the back check and it resulted in a goal because he was literally just standing around in the offensive zone for like 5 seconds. Bobby's gotta play with someone like a Teemu Selanne who will get his ass in gear, something I don't see Spezza or Michalek doing too well

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

Turris is coming into his own and I think Ryan would be a good fit on his wing.

I think he could possibly fit in well there. But you really need a veteran who's going to push Ryan. Ryan's very prideful and if he's pushed by someone who's outplaying him it's when he seems to play the best. But it's only temporary. My biggest quirk with Ryan is he has an incredible amount of talent but he's lazy and it makes him incredibly spotty.

Ryan was pulled down by Gunnarson for that goal actually, they showed that in the replay after the goal. Chemistry takes time, and if the
Turris-Conacher-Mac line works, why change it?

If I'm talking about the same goal then Ryan was definitely slow getting back. He was basically just standing in the neutral zone waiting and finally decided he should go in.

Turris looked really good yesterday, he is probably my favourite Senator.

Yeah we're talking about the same goal. The Kessel cross crease goal to JVR.

I think he had a bad game, hope he can bounce back next game (Ryan)

Turris was awesome last night, hoping he can do this all season

Honestly on that goal Spezza did an awful job on Kessel.

I'm shocked Mac didn't get a goal. He played hard last night and had at least 3 quality scoring chances. Carlyle would have been pissed if he scored haha.

He played really well. So happy to pick him, and if he's able to play like that more often then not he is more then worth $3m every year.

That is the thing with Macarthur though is that he will look amazing for a stretch of time and then he will go absolutely invisible for an even longer period of time. He never seemed to be able to pull himself out of a funk but then he would find a way to get a cheap one and he would be back on again. Again he is a solid 2nd/3rd line tweener but don't be shocked when he falls off a cliff at some point lol.

Trust me when I say this, it'll save you a ton of disappointment. As someone who has watched him for 5 years, and one in the AHL. Don't expect anything from him, anticipate him playing like a typical second line player who has some skill. Then when he plays his great stretch it's a pleasant surprise, and if he plays like shit (Like all of last season a few games aside) my heart is not broken in two

Whats wrong with a typical 2nd line player?

290 points in 380 games is "dont expect anythng from him"?

Man that 4 time 30 goal scorer, what a great projected second liner.
