A very interesting deal for both sides. Brovalchuk, a former 1st overall pick of the Jets, makes the Platoon better right now, but with Bolt going into a management position in Toronto he may have the chance to make a greater impact in for his team. Right now I'd say the Platoon win but down the line it may be the conditional pick that makes the difference between winners and losers in the deal and whether Toronto will be able to capatalize on a good Platoon draft pick or not.
Wow! What a deal! When reached for comment, newly named Toronto North Stars GM had this to say:
Quote:Originally posted by Jon Maxfield We feel great to have picked up a good player of Bolt's capacity and the fact he's likely retiring gives us hopes for Makarov to be the superstar he's primed to be. Also, Stars are 100000000x the team the Platoonza will ever be. Also, Platoonza is a stupid name.
Last two sentences are a word for word quote. I swear on Bettman's life.
