So are the Washington Capitals and San Jose Sharks yet they win nothing too? Never said u guys werent a good team just have not proven yourself as a legit contender winning nothing in the playoffs

Lol you really should do your history lesson before you speak buddy. We probably have more SHL Finals experience then you do. Just because our "Team" hasn't doesn't mean individually we don't Maxfield- 1 SHL Final Abdalla- 1 SHL Final Gallagher- 1 SHL Finals, 1 Cup Paille- 1 SHL Final Honcho- 2 SHL Finals, 2 Cups, 1 Cup MVP Lee- 3 SHL Finals, 3 Cups, 1 Richard Trophy Falkirk 1 SHL Finals 1 Cup So that's 6 cups right there. ![]() Registered Respected Creator
JP, that's the point though, we're all saying that anything can happen on the basis that your team is still just about the same as last season, and you only made the playoffs by two points.
you had a great run and no one's saying you can't do it again, but you can't argue that the Chiefs were a dominant team. you had a couple nice playoff wins and almost even won the cup but getting hot at the right time doesn't ensure future success. remember when tampa and calgary played in the stanley cup? they weren't too hot afterwards... I definitely think you guys will continue to get better and will contend for sure but you can't act as if it's a guarantee you're going to win the division or something like that, there are other teams that have worked hard to improve too. ![]() Registered Posting Freak
Here goes Maxy with his BS again  "Stars are the best team ever! We will be undefeated OMG!!"
I really dont let these things bother me because its season after season we have doubters. But wanna take a look at our playoff record? What was it, 11-1-5? We held a playoff position all season, at one point we were in first, then we were almost out, yet where were the Stars? One player cant fix the entire team, but i believe you will make the playoffs. You guys have no chemistry, which will be your downfall. ![]() Registered S25 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by habsfanfromontario@Jan 2 2012, 12:50 PM Lots of teams can be considered i was just picking names washington has alot of talent that under accomplishs. Boston and Flyers are under accomplishing so i wouldnt compare them to the Stars

Although all Chiefs players are saying 'everyone said that last year,' is everyone forgetting the Steelhawks?
Underdog team, squeak into the finals, lose in the finals. Basically same team as the previous year, all say 'we will do it again, we are the same team with a few more additions.' What did they do that season? Pretty much nothing. ![]() Registered S8, S9, S13, S22 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by jkrever@Jan 2 2012, 12:53 PMWhenever you post I read it with the voice of a father sitting down with his kid to give him a lesson about life or something. ![]() Registered Respected Creator Quote:Originally posted by habsfanfromontario@Jan 2 2012, 12:50 PMI don't know what paper you're reading. Flyers were never the best on paper after trading Richards and Carter and getting youth in return. In three years, yes ok, after Schenn and Couturier are established NHL players, but not yet. Boston for sure, and Washington for sure as well when you look at the wealth of talent there it's incredible. But Ovi is heating up now (6 goals in 6 games) and Vokoun is starting to look like he has all those years in Florida and Nashville so I think they're on their way up. Off discussion anyway but I think you don't understand the argument of 'on paper'. ![]() Registered S25 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by Maxy<3@Jan 2 2012, 12:53 PM Okay u guys have the experience your point none of those guys made it in the Stars organization to the cup your throwing out numbers from different teams.
West Kendall ![]() Registered Merica's Lover Quote:Originally posted by NathanAD@Jan 2 2012, 12:55 PMPretty much nothing? I was on that team lol, the Stars took us to the last day of the season for the playoffs. We only made it in because they lost the next season. Then we got wrecked by the Platoon in the first round. But hey I guess the Chiefs are a better team than ya know, O'Keefe, Secord, Martucci, Lindsay, Maxfield, Stevens, Bolt, Broomfield. Shame on me ![]() ![]() Registered S25 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by NathanAD@Jan 2 2012, 12:55 PM nevermind this was a few years ago
