We lost Goonathan, but we gained Jock, Winter, Parmesan. These are all players who add depth to our team.

We got to game 7 and lost in overtime to, most likely, the best team to ever play in SHL. They have some of the best players from all over the league and we went to overtime in game 7!

We obviously aren't just a cinderella story. We are actually a good team. However I guess we will just have to show people again thi year.

JP, that's the point though, we're all saying that anything can happen on the basis that your team is still just about the same as last season, and you only made the playoffs by two points.

you had a great run and no one's saying you can't do it again, but you can't argue that the Chiefs were a dominant team. you had a couple nice playoff wins and almost even won the cup but getting hot at the right time doesn't ensure future success.

remember when tampa and calgary played in the stanley cup? they weren't too hot afterwards...

I definitely think you guys will continue to get better and will contend for sure but you can't act as if it's a guarantee you're going to win the division or something like that, there are other teams that have worked hard to improve too.

I really dont let these things bother me because its season after season we have doubters. But wanna take a look at our playoff record? What was it, 11-1-5? We held a playoff position all season, at one point we were in first, then we were almost out, yet where were the Stars? One player cant fix the entire team, but i believe you will make the playoffs. You guys have no chemistry, which will be your downfall.

Lots of teams can be considered i was just picking names washington has alot of talent that under accomplishs. Boston and Flyers are under accomplishing so i wouldnt compare them to the Stars

I don't know what paper you're reading. Flyers were never the best on paper after trading Richards and Carter and getting youth in return. In three years, yes ok, after Schenn and Couturier are established NHL players, but not yet.

Boston for sure, and Washington for sure as well when you look at the wealth of talent there it's incredible. But Ovi is heating up now (6 goals in 6 games) and Vokoun is starting to look like he has all those years in Florida and Nashville so I think they're on their way up. Off discussion anyway but I think you don't understand the argument of 'on paper'.

Pretty much nothing? I was on that team lol, the Stars took us to the last day of the season for the playoffs. We only made it in because they lost the next season. Then we got wrecked by the Platoon in the first round.

But hey I guess the Chiefs are a better team than ya know, O'Keefe, Secord, Martucci, Lindsay, Maxfield, Stevens, Bolt, Broomfield.

we had the top line in the league last year and it was their first time playing together! how is that no chemistry?
