This is Jimmy John reporting again post draft with Trey Nets.
JJ: So Trey how would you rate your draft night? TN: Well honestly JJ it was very disappointing in the sense of what pick I was. I was drunk after the second round so not sure what number I was but I do like where I ended up playing and come to find out two other friends are on the team as well. JJ: Safe to assume you fell below your expectations? TN: For sure yes. I’d been in contact with some teams and had good vibes going into the draft. I seen most mock with me at anywhere from 11 to 19. But I’ve always gotten no respect so it’s all good. Plus I got blitzed by end of the second anyways. Can you hand me that Gatorade? JJ: Sure thing. Here you go. Your friend Dylan wanted his team to draft you but they passed. Feelings? TN: Well it is what it is and I’m happy with the city I’ll be playing in so no complaints. It woulda been cool to play with him here because we play in the PBE together also but it’ll be a good rivalry here so it’ll work itself out. JJ: Well thanks for having us on draft night and get some rest. Can’t be drunk at your introduction tomorrow. TN: Will do and turn off those lights on your way out.
