With the draft over, it is time to find a new Ass Captain. With Blackwood being called up we had to find someone new to fill his shoes. It was a tough choice, but Ryan and myself came up with the perfect choice.
First off, Ass Captain Sasha Dangelchek and Captain “Fish” Hernadivic will be returning. They have been great in the locker room and will continue to lead the team on and off the ice.
The newest Scarecrow to join the leadership role is none other than....

Jay has been great in the locker room and he played some of the best hockey last season. Jay faces a huge choice this offseason where he had the option to stay down or be called up. He choose to stay down and attempt to bring the cup back to St Louis. All in all, Jay is great dude and has now forever been engraved into St Louis history as a leader. We look forward to him stepping right into the leadership role.
