They started fast tonight did the kracken just 1:39 into the game Buster Cherry shovels home a feed from rickey bobby and were off and running in anaheim this play developed due to strong puck pressure on the forecheck from Zbigniew Pokrywka and its quickly 1-0 kracken. 30 seconds later Joseph Weston and Michael Fitted hook up for a spectacular 2-1 effort that makes it 2-0 kracken fitted takes the puck from the defender looks shot the while way and saucers a beautiful baby right on the tape of the captain weston who makes no mistake firing the puck upstairs and it's looking like a barn burner early. Ahead to the 2nd period its 2-1 good guys now when big bad Stirling MacTavish parks himself in front on the power play and redirects a Tom Fiddler point shot and its 3-1 carolina and she wants to sell my monkey. anaheim would respond but velveteen dream and michael fitted would put the game out of reach and it's a 5-2 kracken victory.

So far through 2 games the kracken have not allowed 25 shots by either opponent it seems there defense which let them down in the playoffs is playing with more poise and energy this season they look like a complete unit something that was missing during the post season. It seems the gameplan has been simplified and with new hungry blood in the locker room maybe the kracken are re capturing that cup magic.
