The New Orleans Specters are oh so happy to announce that they've agreed to terms with franchise defenseman Lyle Odelein III on a 10 year, $40 million contract extension!!

Odelein came to New Orleans in the S48 draft as the 8th overall pick, which the Specters had traded up with San Francisco to acquire. The former St. Louis Scarecrow had his best season to date in Season 52, setting career highs in goals (5), Assists (20), points (25), and shot blocks (55). He also added 70 hits along the way as well.

Lyle's best season's are ahead of him, and we're thrilled that HE suggested he wanted to be here for 10 more seasons at least, so he can be a Specter for his entire career. Looking forward to seeing just how good he can be as we move to FHM!
