It is a new year for Colorado and the preseason has been exciting. The team looks stronger than ever. Center Henrik Lundqvist Jr returns for his fourth year down in the minors after signing a new deal with a new team. He is fired up about joining West Kendall and as a new Platoon member, he may have the energy that will be needed and show major improvements in his game. This is the last season for him with Colorado and he wants to make it count by winning a Cup with the Raptors.

The Raptors believe they can earn the Four Star Cup. They have had a strong preseason and look as good as anyone, so there is no reason not to have faith in the team. They are led by a very good and very nice GM, and with excellent management and players that have fully developed they could burst on to the scene. You should see a full display of their power.

Lundqvist Jr. was pretty sick for most of the preseason but he is feeling much better now and is happy that everything worked out. It could have been much worse if you look around and see all the stuff going on with the virus he is happy that he got lucky and is recovering. He is back and ready for the regular season and excited to finally prove himself as a player. He has lots of extra time with being home and not going anywhere so he may be able to start doing extra work and getting more involved. At times it is hard to stay interested but he is trying to keep himself engaged so he does not let his teams in both the juniors and the SHL down. He wants to see his career through and make it count in spite of having a very very bad start in the juniors and making very slow progress so far. He knows that eventually hard work does pay off and he just wants to see the rewards. He is hoping the Raptors can have a great year as the league is now in FHM and with all the changes it could be a new leaf and a good sign for Colorado and for him. He also hopes that his team has a good year in the SHL and is very much looking forward to joining them next year. The call up will be super exciting for him, he loves the idea of playing for west kendall forever and being their big star player one day.

So that is how things look after the preseason from the eyes of Henrik Lundqvist Jr. He thanks all of his gms and fans for their patience with some of his struggles and promises that he will show off what he is really made of this year. This will be the year that defines him and proves he belongs in this elite and talented league. That the teams that took a chance on him were right about him all along and that he can become one of the great players in the SHL. And Colorado can find success as the team reaches its best year yet for talent and looks to destroy everyone else in the league. There is no doubt in Lundqvist Jr's mind that the team is just ready for that next step and that the time has come. This is their window and their time to shine and everyone on Colorado knows it. He can't wait to step on the ice as the regular season is about to begin. The preseason was only the beginning, the start of things to come. Go Raptors!
