Seven by Seven

The Armada came out guns blazing on this fine evening. The Armada started the evening as the underdogs with a 2-3-1 rating against the Outlaws who boasted an impressing 5-2 record. What fans got was a complete team effort by the boys from Anchorage. Seven players scored seven goals through out the game. With Bork Lazer starting off the scoring with his first of the year at 4:13 in the first period. The Outlaws managed to tie the game twice during the second with Pritchard and Bud Light Lime each recording goals. However the Armada didn't give up with Gervais Cvitkovich, and Vyskoc all netting markers. Cvitkovich with the game's eventual game winner. With the start of the 3rd period, the Armada came out with an all-out assault with three more goals from de Siren, Hanson, and Rasanen. An absolute blow out from the Anchorage Armada against the favored Anaheim Outlaws.

The turning of the tides
With the sound of the opening buzzer, the home crowd didn't stop cheering until the final seconds, and with good reason. The Armada gave it their all on this game, scoring 7 goals to the Outlaw's 2. However, the turning point in this game didn't come until near the end of the 2nd period. The Outlaws tied the game 2-2 with a goal from Bud Light Lime at 11:21. A few moments later the Armada let out a shot barrage of goals from Cvitkovich at 15:13, his first of the year followed by another goal only 12 seconds later at 15:25 from Vyskoc, also his first of the year. This set up the Armada to go into the 3rd period up 4-2. They went to score another 3 markers in the final period for a final score of 7-2. A great outing for the boys from Anchorage.

3 Stars of the game
First Star: Ryan Cvitkovich - Cvit desperately needed this game, coming into the 7th game of the year with no points, he recorded his first two assists and first goal of the year. He set up Bork Lazer in the first to start off the scoring. An all around effort by this Anchorage vet, keep an eye on him to keep this trend going.

Second Star: BORK LAZER - LAZER came into this game in a bit of a scoring slump, but he broke the tie early with an even strength shot that saw him record his first goal of the year at 4:13 in the first. This blue liner also had an assist for his second of the year.

Third Star: Chris de Siren - Chris came in and owned the third period. He tallied his first goal of the year to start off the scoring at 1:56 and had assists on the next two goals for 3 points on the night. Expect to see great things from this American sniper as the season goes on.
