Three Stars of the Game Analysis
1. Ryan Cvitkovick
Cvitkovick was a force in this game with the go-ahead goal that started the destruction of the Outlaws at the hands of the Armada. His offensive game rating was third on the team, he was tied for first for the highest +/-,  and had a blocked shot and an assist. Playing like this on a regular basis will earn you records, not just stars.

2. Bork Lazer
For a defenseman, Lazer showed up on both sides of the puck. a goal and an assist pair nicely with his 2 shots, one blocked shot, and two hits. The third highest defensive game rating helped him secure the second star in this absolute bashing of Anaheim.

3. Chris de Siren
de Siren had the best offensive rating in the game (82), and had all four of his shots on target, resulting in a goal and an assist. His defensive game wasn't especially impressive, which is likely why he's only third star in this smash of a game.

Boat Team Not Bad?
The Armada shelled the Outlaws like a true armada would any opponent, putting up 50 shots and chasing Strom Chamberlain off the ice with just under 12 minutes left to play. Not only did Anchorage put out a large number of shots, but they played physically as well, recording 27 hits against an Anaheim team that was demoralized after the second period. If the Armada can keep these numbers in the games to come, they might be able to buck the meme of "Boat Team Bad" that has been circulating over the past few seasons. The Outlaws can only hope that Chamberlain had a poor game or there was some defensive flaw in their tactics because numbers like this is how you miss the playoffs.

The Bright Spot for Anaheim
Despite getting absolutely pounded by The Armada, a few of their players had a pretty good game. The one that stands out the most is Taylor Johansson, who, while not having any flashy stats aside from taking 3 shots, one of which was considered a Missed Shot, finished the game with not only the highest defensive game rating (79) but also a respectable offensive outing for a 7-2 loss with an offensive rating of 63. These resulted in the highest game rating on the team at a 72, which is nothing to turn your nose up at when getting beaten so badly. If he can play at the same caliber when not in a losing situation, he could be earning one of the three stars of the game on a regular basis.
