Teylora Petrov is coming off being a DFA for the St. Louis Scarecrows where he fought to play 8 games and playoff games. During the time on the ice for the Scarecrows, he had 1 goal, 1 assist while having a +4. Not being known for his offense, that was pretty good. On the defensive side, he did have 15 hits in the 8 games which made his presence known in his 16:10 minutes of ice time. He had an average grade of 52 which is not too bad for a DFA just trying to get his bearings under him. He had a defensive grade of 57 which is what you should really expect from this guy. He expects to be a force on defense, but add not much to the offensive side of the ice. Well, let's get back to what this article was actually going to be about, the SMJHL teams.

Anaheim Outlaws


Anaheim is an interesting team that Tey would be intrigued with. Now, they have some familiar faces in Siddhus, AdamS, Renomitsu, RainDelay, and of course one of the GMs in Nykonax that I am very familiar with. I am not too fond on playing with Adam, but Reno would be a solid sell for me. I would love to play with him, even though he will probably be going up to the SHL. I share only a few locker rooms with Reno, so I would absolutely love to share another one with him. I really dig the logo, it's really sweet. So, I would definitely be willing to play for the Outlaws, they will find the way towards the top of the list, more than likely.

Anchorage Armada


Anchorage is an interesting spot for a team. I do not mind the location at all. Now, I do not really know either of the General Managers nor really have had too much interactions with them anywhere. At least, their usernames here do not ring a bell to me. We have iSteg who will be heading back into the draft, Bojo, Frick, honkerrs, and Kenitoh that I am familiar with from other leagues. So, based off the fact that Frick is there, I would be intrigued with this location. I am not really sure about either General Manager or what the locker room really looks like as I have not interacted with most of the team, so it is really hard to say how I would fit in here. I don't mind this location, but it will not really go high on the list because of the fact that there are a lot of unknowns in this situation about dynamic, General Managers, and overall fit with the team.

Carolina Kraken


I really like the Kraken logo, I just think it's a really cool idea, something that Wasty brought in for the PHL, I thought it was cool then. I am familiar with cpetrella, so I would not mind this location as well. I think the logo is cool, Carolina is fine, but time to look at the team. Ben is there, TDZ, and trella. The rest, I am really not sure I know any of these usernames. So, in the locker room, it would be an interesting fit given the fact, again, I do not really know a ton of these guys. I tend to talk a little bit more in locker rooms that I have familiarity with people in there. So, in this case, I may be quieter because I honestly do not know a ton about these players. I really like trella, so that may bump them up the list, but not knowing any of the players really kinda hurts. Cool idea for a team, but lack of players hurts the ranking.

Colorado Raptors


Colorado was the team that my former player was on, so obviously, this would be intriguing to me. They also have some players that I am familiar with in JayTee, Brandon, okay, not as many players that I thought I may be familiar with, but that is okay. I was kinda gone by the time of the name change and the General Managers are people I have seen before, but not a ton of familiarity with them. I have probably interacted with them, but not a ton recently. I am already in the locker room, so would be an easy transition there, but honestly, I am not a huge fan of the Raptors logo. I tried to google if there are raptors in Colorado, but I am only seeing things about birds, so not a huge fan of a team name that doesn't make a ton of sense. I don't care for the logo, but I already have a tie to Colorado, so it's an intriguing fit for me, to be honest.

Detroit Falcons


Detroit is another team that I have a former connection because I was a General Manager of the team way back in the day. I could look at seasons when I was GM, but that would not really be worth anything to anyone. I know I have seen both GMs around, but not sure I have interacted with either of them personally. If I have, I apologize, but I do not believe I have. Now, for the players on the team, they have Wannabefinn that I really like as he was my GM in Buffalo for a long time until he traded me because he's a mean boy. I would love to play with Wanna on defense and be his partner, so I think it would be a cool fit here. I have seen a couple of the other usernames on the team around, but not sure I have really interacted with any of them before. I really think Detroit could be a cool fit for my team, I will definitely see what the General Managers think about me and whether defense is needed for them. I do see some defenseman already, so it will probably depend on call-ups and everything like that.

Kelowna Knights


I hate logos that are not completely original, so this already takes Kelowna down a notch. Now, Naosu is someone I have interacted with from the NSFL, we had a great chat, so I am interested in them given that fact specifically. Now, they also took AW13 which was a benefit for the Petrovs, so that is also good. I am familiar with SLM, Hoovuh, Butters, Zombiewolf, HFFO, so, it is an intriguing locker room for sure. Zombie was someone that was in Buffalo with me as well, so very interesting to share a locker room with him again. I would be interested to go here, I think. I wish the logo was completely original, but I suppose the locker room and players would kind of trump that.

Maine Timber


I do not know either of the General Managers for the Maine Timber, but I actually really like this location and team. Being from the Northeast, obviously, this is a hook for me. I really love going to Maine and spending time there as well. I like the initial thought of Maine given this fact. They do have crutch, DD, Rabidsponge, Allegiant who are all interesting to be in a locker room. Those are really the only ones I am familiar with, but seems to be a good group. I just really love the Maine logo, location, and everything. That is an instant draw, there is no question about that. I would happily be a alum for the Maine Timber, but I would love to hear from the General Managers about their plan for using me to be sold, but from first glance, interesting for sure.

Nevada Battleborn
I would love to be part of an expansion team. This GM is not someone I completely familiar with, but I love the fact you can create something with an expansion team. That has always been a draw for me. This team, I do not really like the branding and stuff, but it's an expansion team, so it's interesting.

Newfoundland Berserkers

This is probably one of the more intriguing teams for me. JNH is someone that I have known for a while back when he was JNH in his first player and I was Michael Haan. He's awesome and SDCore is a cool person as well. I like the logo and branding a bunch, so there is definite interest with this team. They also have Teztify, Tylar, Leafs, Matty, TOAST, bbp, Snussu, Wally, thevoicelesscreator, wow. They have a ton of people I am familiar with. I would love to play here given this fact. I would love to interact with all of these people especially Toast who is my bae, and I know ck likes to rub it in that he's in a locker room with him. Toast is bae, so they easily will hit near the top of the list.

Quebec City Citadelles
I love @Evok is that too much to say? I told her that I would happily play for her for as long as she needs me. I am from the USA, but Quebec City has always been interesting as my family is all from Canada. I love the logo and jerseys. It also goes on the same lines as being an expansion team. I would love to be part of creating history and making my name with them, so count me in. Top of my list.

St. Louis Scarecrows

This is my current team, a team that will be towards the top as well. I had a great time with the Crows, no question. They took a chance on me and also played me, something i really cannot thank them more for. They took a chance, I hope I paid them back. I would love to go back to them. There is not much more I need to say. I would be happy to go back here, without question.

Vancouver Whalers

Two General Managers that I am not too familiar with. I do not think I have had any interactions with these two either. Let's look at the players on the team. I do know the name Gooney, moonlight, but other than that, nothing really sticks out. Again, another logo that is not really at the top of my list because of the fact that it is not original. I do not know a ton about them, so someone will need to go towards the bottom, unfortunately, it may be this team.
